I got a text and email confirmation. The next day I received a text stating the time I selected (from their calendar, mind you) wasn't available. And asking what I was looking for so they could recommend a stylist, which I'd asked for in the first place! I expressed my concerns and texted photos of my hair. The person replied that I'd be heading directly from a stylist, and that they'd cancel the consultation I booked. No stylist has reached out, so it seems they have enough business that they don't need mine.

It's been months since I went there and I tried to tell myself that everyone has a bad day but after paying $300 to see her, feeling like that, and going somewhere else for free, I just felt like I needed to say something. She charged me $300 to talk to me about Hair and spew information at me in a very quick way as if she was reciting a thoughtless monologue and then looked at my scalp for a quick minute with a camera microscope. She Then tried to sell me on 6k worth of hair extensions and laser. Then she rushed me out at the end for her next patient. I have had another more in-depth consultation, which gave me so much more peace of mind and it was free. I do not recommend going to see Melinda for hair loss, especially when you are in an emotional state because of it. I would really like a refund. She seems like the type of person though who has such a big ego she wouldn't even care about a bad review.

I have been going to Uptown for over 2 years and I love it! Very clean and nice inside! CeCe is great at what she does and she can do it very well! I love that when my appointment time is all about me! She works on my hair until I'm done! No waiting around for hours to get in the chair. I love that their isn't alot of traffic in the salon. Nevertheless, I scheduled an appointment with CeCe and could tell right away that she had several years of experience and really knew her stuff! I went to this salon wanting a funky, fresh, new look. I was tired of looking like a young girl, I wanted to look my age, 26. My hair was cut and styled by the talented Cece.
