I've had occasion to try Uptown Slice about five times now. Initially I wasn't so sure as I've never been a "New York slice" type of guy. However, the fact they do full pies and have stellar reviews meant I had to try them. I wasn't so sure after my first experience as again it's not necessarily the style of pizza I default too. That said it was good enough and very fresh and well prepared. So I gave it a few other tries and I'm now a big fan. For context, I only do cheese or cheese and sausage and will sometimes do extra cheese. Their cheese pie is excellent. I don't think extra cheese is necessary, but I've done it and it's also excellent. The sausage isn't the style that I normally prefer, the sliced sausage, but it too is very good. I tend to go cheese though because even when I ordered "light" sausage it had way too much on the pizza. That seems to be the norm these days though, but for me it overwhelms the rest of the ingredients. I'd rotate between the two, but not sure if I'll get light sausage when I order. Anyway, the pizza is fantastic. Sauce for me is what it makes it, but crest and cheese are spot on as well. I do love garlic bread, specifically cheese garlic bread, and have had both. This has seemingly changed recently, but anytime I've had it it's been good as well. Currently it's more of a traditional garlic bread delivery which is slightly better. They do have two locations which is nice. One is dine-in, but they do accommodate orders if to go if needed. The other is the Uptown Sline Depot which is a to-go location. Both are great and they deliver the same result. The dine-in was packed on a recent Saturday visit and the concept with some craft beers, etc is good. Two things if the owner is listening. Go lighter on the toppings if asked. Second though and more important please expand outside of Sheboygan. You'd kill it in West Bend with little competition which you'd easily best. read more

We are just traveling through and gave this a try and really loved it. We used to live in New York and this is New York style pizza at its finest! Best pizza we have had in a long time since moving away from NYC. Also, you order at the bar and the bar tender was so friendly. I would definitely come here again. read more

This pepperoni slice MIGHT BE THE BEST SLICE IVE HAD IN WI SO FAR! I've had pizza all over, and nyc and this one was just sooooo good. The red sauce was slightly spicy and not sweet like a lot of places so it had great flavor. The dough was crispy but still had a bit of chew. They use the good pepperonis and they had all the toppings to add on the tables to go. The arugula burrito was pretty good but I wish one of their white pies was available as slices for takeout. Will definitely come back again. Went for lunch and it was a cute spot with decent amount of tables and bar seating. Got my food super quickly as well. read more

The only New York style pizzeria in Sheboygan, as far as I know, and it's great! I've visited twice now on trips to the area, which has a pretty solid food scene, btw. The Uptown Slice crust is crisp and light, with the right amount of chew, and the sauce and cheese taste great, too. There are standard every day slices, during normal business hours, anyway, and they feature different special slices every week, so plenty of options to choose from. I enjoyed the Gabagool with capicola and arugula and the Apple Gorgonzola with bacon on my most recent visit, and both were delicious! I've had the cheese slice and pepperoni slice on prior visit. Yum! Dine in and enjoy a slice or two with a beverage, as they have a few beers on tap, as well as soft drinks. There are TV's to keep your attention, if needed, if you dine in, or you can place an order for carry-out or delivery. They are currently open Thursday through Sunday, Noon to 9:00PM. What a find in Sheboygan. I doubt you will find a better slice in Wisconsin. Cheese had great flavor, plentiful toppings and the dough was the level of crisp and chewy. Just wow. An authentic New York style pizza by the slice that delivers in Sheboygan. If you have not had by the slice, or love NY style, get to Uptown Slice. My first job was in NYC and I was broke and lived on pizza by the slice. Being from WI, so great to get back but I missed the pizza. Only option was Sal's in Appleton during Mile of Music (don't ask, just go to both - you're welcome). Uptown Slice delivers authentic pizza with the crisp crust, sauce and cheese. The owner goes to NY to study and learn. The true test is the simple cheese slice or go single ingredient. I get a cheese and a sausage slice. The place has a cool vibe but on the small side. I had a slice of the SAUSAGE GIARDINERA. I got the slice from the case, it was hot, crispy and very taste. I was in and out in 5 mins with my slice to go. I will be returning to try other slices. I great addition to Sheboygan. read more

Hi, I love pizza like the next person. I didn't like this pizza at all. I had a slice of sausage pizza and it had no taste at all and what I could taste was the burnt crust and you pay 6 dollars a slice. If this is New York-style pizza you can have it. I will not be going back anytime soon. I paid 38 dollars for 4 slices of pizza and 4 cans of soda what a joke so if you like to overpay for burnt food go for it. I could go to Marcos Pizza and get 4 pizzas for that price and it's a better-tasting pizza. read more
