This is for my catering experience with Tea at 1024…read more For Galentines, me and my girlfriends decided to take the experience to us. The ordering process was easy thanks to their amazing staff. Their guidance from online ordering to communication over the phone and text, they made our event successful and memorable. There was 5 of us , with a moderate appetite. So, We went with two orders of the "Catering - Sandwiches TO GO" and one order of the "Catering - Scones TO GO". Then our choice of their teas: 1oz Sakura Cherry Rose and 1oz of their Cookies and Cream, which is great with milk and sugar btw. 1oz =at least 12 pours of the tea. If you want 2oz =24 pours of tea. The sandwiches were also delicious, a cute tiny bite of flavor. Which to this day I wish I ordered more since I'm more of a savory girlie. You can choose the sandwiches from their catering or seasonal menu and it comes in 4 pieces. We ordered: Sandwich flavors 24 pieces 1 Sweet egg salad (4) 1 Smoked Salmon with Dill Creme (4) 1 Nutella & Strawberry (4) 1 roasted veggies & hummus (4) 1 Crab & Cheese (4) 1 Cucumber & Avocado (4) My personal Favorites were the Smoked Salmon with Dill Crème and Roasted veggies & Hummus. The scones only available flavors were vanilla bean & earl grey and it also comes with potted cream and jam packed in a to-go cup. If you decide to host a little tea party with your girlfriends, I highly recommend trying them out.

Unlike coffee shops, where food and drinks are purchased a la carte, tea service here is a set menu of tea, salad, sandwiches, scones and sweets. The menu can be modified for vegetarians, gluten free, etc. Of course, there's a wide selection of teas to choose from. My daughter's favorite is the sakura cherry rose. She is not a big eater, so the amount of food was more than enough for her. Normally, she can be a picky eater, but maybe the uniqueness and specialness of the place and occasion encouraged her to be open-minded to new things -- and she genuinely enjoyed everything she tried. Staff was especially welcoming and friendly. Located in Chinatown (Nuuanu street) so parking can be a hassle. If you're lucky, you might find street parking. Otherwise, there are a couple municipal parking lots nearby.

(I prefer my drinks sweet) The cashier was helpful which they allowed you to do samples before I decided which drinks to order. We live on Maui but was just visiting home for graduation season. Which is why we ordered to go bottles to last throughout our stay BUT it is labeled with expiration date which is about 1-week. It is a cute little place very limited space but they also have outdoor seating. For sure coming back whenever we're back on Oahu. We decided to stop here since it was recommended by one of our family members.

They didn't have tons of matcha flavors, but we ordered: Strawberry Matcha 4/5 Lemonade Matcha 4/5 It has to be a 4/5 for me cause although the quality was the best, it wasn't the best flavors. I've had places that do both. I love a good balance of strawberry and matcha, this one the strawberry flavor wasn't super noticeable. That's probably more of a preference thing though. It's a super small quaint spot. There's seats available, but it's more of a pick up and go spot. They have restrooms and a little shop to buy custom local swag. The service was good, nothing crazy! Not tons of parking. Overall, I would totally come back!

The barista was friendly and offered some great recommendations for popular drinks. I went with the strawberry matcha, and it had the perfect balance of earthy matcha and creamy strawberry. We also ordered the salt and butter bun and the cheese and mushroom puff, and both were delicious, especially warmed up. There was even a local pop-up vendor selling banana bread, so we grabbed one to try. Overall, it's a great little spot for matcha drinks and tasty bites.

The texture is honestly the star here, and it makes the drink feel way more satisfying than your typical milk tea. We ordered the jujube drink and the mango drink. I personally liked the jujube one more, but my girlfriend preferred the mango. Both were really good, plenty sweet, and the purple rice had such a great chew that I didn't even feel like I needed boba or any extra toppings. Inside is super cute too. I feel like if they had board games or something it would be such a fun hangout spot. Staff was friendly and we got our drinks pretty quick. One thing to note: the rice is really filling. I genuinely felt like I ate a meal after finishing a drink. Would definitely come back.
