It's fun for a birthday or date night and just right in terms of difficulty. The instructor was kind, patient, and clear - you spend the first part of your session learning how to throw and the remainder competing against others in your class. It goes by quick - if you find that you love it, they have entire leagues devoted to the sport! Recommend making a reservation online. We tried going once on a whim on a Monday- they had space, but no instructors and so we had to return another day. We made a reservation, but oddly it was later overbooked somehow and so they re-scheduled us last minute. Not sure if these are common occurrences, but something to keep in mind that could occur.

This place was a lot of fun! I went with 3 friends and we had side-by-side lanes so that we could learn and throw 2 and a time. We had a 90-minute time slot with our "guide". She was very friendly, patient and encouraging (even when I really stunk - which was 99% of the time). She told each of us how to adjust our stances and techniques so that we could throw our best. We were shown 2-arm and 1-arm throwing stances. The 90 minutes went by so quickly and our group of 4 had a lot of fun learning and then "competing" against each other. Tips and other thoughts: they have a parking lot - which is awesome. You have to go to the front desk to ask for a parking pass to put in your car. They do sell beer and wine that you can take to your area (but not in the actual throwing lane, obvi). There is plenty of space to hang coats and purses by your lane for when you're throwing. Make a reservation for your party in advance and look for coupons online! They do accept tips (which they can put on your credit card). Your guide will take a picture of your party with the axes at the end so that everyone can remember the good times! I highly recommend this experience for friends, family or coworkers (just maybe not with enemies! Lol)

My daughter recommended that we go axe throwing while I was in town. She had done it previously at this spot, but I had never done it before. Our instructor Kevin, was very knowledgeable and did a great job of instructing out group, which consisted of me and my daughter and 4 other folks we did not previously know. If you have less that 4 in your group you can't reserve a bay, but will participate in what they call social throwing. We had a great time with the folks we were with amd everyone's axe throwing improved as we got more and more throws in. I would definitely recommend this place as a fun activity to do with your crew. They do serve alcohol and some food there, but we did not get any, so I can't opine on the taste of the food or the variety of drinks offered.

She made the planning process painless, and the night of, the team executed it perfectly! It was everything we were hoping it would be, good food, good drinks, and a fun activity. The food was buffet-style and had great portion sizes. We were impressed that we got our own axe-throwing 'coach' for the amount of time we rented the lanes. This was the first time most of us did axe-throwing, so it was comforting to have a guide. The team had a blast, and I highly recommend it for an after-work get-together. Ask for Amanda!

When we arrived, we were greeted right away and directed to our station. There was no waiting around, which I loved. I thought it would be more of a "throw whenever you want" situation, but we actually had an instructor with us the whole time, which ended up being a good thing since I was a complete beginner. Our instructor, Eian (hope I'm spelling that right), was great, funny, super helpful, very engaging, and patient. He explained everything clearly and gave tips that actually made us feel confident throwing despite our many misses haha. We played a game toward the end of our session and somehow I won which was surprising considering I had no idea what I was doing, still don't! After axe throwing, we went to the bar. It wasn't busy at the time, but it did take a bit for the bartender to acknowledge us. Once we ordered, we walked around to check the place out while we waited for our food. It's definitely more than just axe throwing. There are pool tables, an area with board games, cornhole, darts. It was overall just a fun, social vibe. As it got busier, our food came out but we didn't get plates at first. Then plates came, but no utensils. We waited a while and asked the bartender if she had any, who told us to track down the server ourselves (that was [not] fun). Eventually we got everything we needed. The food is more of a shareable style, so we ordered a few items and honestly, everything was really good. Despite the small service hiccups at the bar, overall it was a fun experience and I'd definitely go back, especially for axe throwing and the atmosphere.

"Oh no! What could improve?" Everything, literally everything. My group & I arrived 10 minutes…read moreearly, waited. They didn't come for us for 15 minutes past our 3:30 reservation because there wasn't 2 bays next to each other for our group of 7 (we were literally sitting in front of 2 empty bays next to each other from 3:20-3:45) The food I could literally make at home in my air fryer & it would've been better. Perdue chicken nuggets in the air fryer with a side of whatever sauce you ask for & charge $12 for it. It was also really fun when they dropped off the apps with no plates or silverware, we had to ask & it was literally take out silverware. The actual throwing of the axes is fun if you want a glitchy game that's going to skip players on your team, not record points etc. Ambiance? Not it, you pay $10 a drink to sit in bright lights. Where we are sitting there's like a workshop area that looks unsafe for patrons & behind us is dents & scuffs in the wall. Also my male friends used the bathroom & lifted the seats & they were covered in feces Also OSHA would have a field day here. Where we were sitting I could reach a power drill & a torch. That's wildly unsafe & not right. If you want to throw axes go to stumpies in Fall River. 10/10 will not be back.
