Close up of my eyes done by Jackie while I got my hair done

I absolutely love Urban Decay. I gotta admit I was a bit of a non-believer at first. I tend to be picky at make-up. Don't believe all that you hear about make-up!! Just because they sell it at Sephora or a major store, does not mean you should affirm it's quality. My usual brands are The Balm, Kat Von D, and sometimes MAC. I started to take an interest in Urban Decay when a friend of mine bought the Naked Palette. It consists of a full size brush, primer, and 12 eye shadows. For under $50. Fabulous quality. Honestly this make up speaks for itself. It does cost a little bit more than MAC, but I cannot deny the quality. Also, the customer service here is beyond great. Both Diane and Jackie have done my make up (natural look and dramatic look) and I received many compliments for the work done. When you get your make up done here, you can just call them ahead of time (which is what I did) or even just walk up to them if it's not too busy. If any of you are new with getting your make up done at the mall, you basically let the artists do your make up for your entire face. In return you have to purchase a certain amount in make up. At Urban Decay, you are required to buy 4 items (FALSE LASHES DO COUNT AS A PURCHASE). When I got my make up done, I was so happy that I bought 5 items. It's really easy to spend money if you're into make up. If you're a newbie, they sell palettes with many colors that anyone can learn from. You can easily ask any of the employees to show you how to do something specific, like smokey eye, and they'll totally give you a mini show. I love everyone who works at this Urban Decay location. They give off a really warm, friendly vibe and don't make me feel inclined to buy everything. They really listen for what I'm looking for. I definitely think if you want a make up tutorial, want a fresh new look, or are just looking for some quality products that aren't cheap but are also not ridiculously expensive, Urban Decay is for you.

Always go to this urban. Ok truth be told, they can be a little pushy but it's so easy to go into to Macy's and 5 mins later leave with the makeup you want and they store your colors and previous items. Way easier than going to Sephora

Thank you Jade for doing Natalie's make up! Loving it!

And she didn't even do my make-up :) This Urban Decay is small (located inside a Macy's), but I love it!

They should just keep it behind the register and ask the shoplifters to leave when they come in, not tell the public. Walking in l knew they were going to be tailing me. It's really common in Asian beauty stores but it was kinda bad here. Prices and selection are ok, there was an employee in training who greeted and rung me up and she was nice. I would come back if I really could not find something elsewhere, but they stock pretty easy to find items so I can't imagine it would be too hard to go elsewhere. I would recommend TokTok in Milpitas or even Mega Mart, which has a good Korean beauty section and you don't pay tax because it's a grocery store.

This was my second time visiting Kira Kira Beauty:…read more **I've read recent reviews of the employees following customers around the store but from my visit on 9/14/25, I did not experience this. ---- VARIETY OF ITEMS ---- - This store has various of beauty items from Korea, Japan and more. I mainly shop here for my favorite Korean sunscreen, Beauty of Joseon. - They have Creme Shop items such as their Sanrio collab items which my daughter loves and also Sanrio Japan items (Located on the right side of the store, once you walk-in as of 9/14/25) - They have AUTHENTIC Labubu's and other blind boxed toys for sale (located on the left side wall of the store as of 9/14/25). Prices are marked-up but not nearly as much as resellers are selling online. - I personally think that they have a good variety of items for the size of their store ---- PRICING ---- - KEEP IN MIND THAT PRICES ARE MARKED-UP but this store is mainly for convenience. Especially since I'm not visiting Korea or Japan any time soon. - If I would purchase these items online at other websites, I would have to pay for shipping anyways so the pricing here is definitely reasonable. ---- TIPPING ---- - I agree with other people reviews regarding about the tipping options at check out... why do they even have this... - The first time I came here, I was honestly weirded out that the payment machine asks if want to tip and suggests tips. - It's weird to me because it's not like they have make-up services or anything to that extent like M.A.C. or NARS makeup counters. - 2nd visit this round, their machine still shows a tipping option. - TIPPING IS OPTIONAL AND YOU CAN CLICK NO TIP AT CHECK OUT ---- CLEANLISNESS ---- - The store is small but very clean and organized ---- REASONS FOR MY FIVE STAR --- - I had a great customer service experience. I only saw 1 box of the sunscreen that I wanted to purchase and I asked an employee if they had more in stock and they did. She grabbed more boxes for me since I wanted to purchase 2. - If you don't see the qty. that you want ton display, ask an employee because they may have more in stock but not displayed. - They have a variety of items from Korea and Japan that I can purchase in one shopping trip.

She is an elite stylist but you dont get her elite attention. Because she was over booked she rushed my hair cut resulting in my layers looking very choppy. She attempt to hide the poor hair cut by curling my hair. Unfortunately she didnt leave my hair in the curler long enough and they fell out by the time I got to my car which then I saw how back of a hair job it was with some random short piece of hair that looked like bad bangs. When I went back inside to ask her about my hair she never once admitted it was bad and instead made excuses about saying thats how she does layers or she misunderstood me. She then took the time to pay me some attention and "fix" my choppy hair but its now way shorter than what I wanted because she cut the first layer too short. When I reminder her I wanted the first layer to start at my chin she stretched out the layer and said "see its at your chin" I see layers on one side of my head and a weird short layer but nothing on the other side. She said I had to ask for "butterfly" ive never heard this term for a hair cut. ive always said layers and I was given layers blended into my hair. you would think an "elite" stylist would know that or at least ask. also I told her I part my hair this shouldve been taken into account when cutting my hair.
