I read some good reviews about Urban East so I decided to give them try. At first everything seems okay but I never got a written estimate but the estimate was always verbal and also the price seems to change every time I spoke to Brian .The Bike I took in to them was a 1982 Suzuki GS750E that needed an engine rebuild a basic restoration. First I was quoted $2000.00 then $4000.00 and Finely $8000.That's When I told him no thanks I am not paying $8000 for an engine rebuild and basic restoration. The minute I refused He wanted the bike out of the shop same day saying that he had no room but funny thing is, if I had agreed to the price tag of $8000 he would had room the bike. Urban East is an awesome shop to deal with. We have some weird bikes and they have worked on them all, from a modded electric Razor RSF650, to two Huck Cycles electric mopeds, my old Suzuki TU250X, my Moto Guzzi V7, my son's Benelli Leoncino, and my son's CFMoto Adventura 650. If it has two wheels, they are game. If I had any complaint it is that they aren't open weekends, but even god had to rest one day. They spend their weekends racing dirt bikes all over. read more

I took my recently purchased 23 year old Harley to this shop for a new tire and general rideability and safety inspection. The shop went through the bike and didn't try to push anything I didn't need. They even went as far as recommending another source for exhaust. I called about my 1985 Yamaha XJ700 Maxim to do some maintenance and minor repairs. Both Lisa and Brian were great! They told me everything I needed to know and set me up for an appointment with fair prices. The work done on my bike was superb and she runs better than ever (kudos also to Bob the mechanic)! so glad to find a repair shop that seems trustworthy, honest and does great work. had my old sv650 towed in for what i thought might be a starter issue. they pretty quickly diagnosed the problem correctly as a faulty clutch switch, and repaired the problem as well as preforming some necessary routine maintenance. all at what seemed a very fair price. (i ran out of gas on the way home, but that is on me) As for these people's professionalism, friendliness, honesty, competency, fairness and quality of work -- i say 5stars all the way.
