Relax people...if you're lucky enough to find something you like...than "lucky" you. I've sold items and bought some as well. Just picked up vintage Levis, copped some Varvatos my first time and have also visited with no "luck" at all. Run of the mill items don't sell, so don't try and unload them...take the store for what it is and be happy that sometimes you can buy an awesome pair of shirts, shoes, or 160.00 vintage copper rivet Levis at a discounted price! Don't like the owners...don't go back. I'm there to copp items for cheap - not to enjoy the customer service of the owners. It's simply a matter of hit or miss on inventory. I will never go back to this store. Horrible customer service. This was my 4th time in this store giving them plenty of chances and thinking maybe she's just having a bad day. Every-time I go in the same lady is behind the counter and never even acknowledges me or ask if i need help. I'm done giving this place a chance. Used to come here a lot and sell my stuff, it was okay before but I no longer come here because I feel like they don't really give you anything for your stuff. Also their clothing selections aren't very good anymore. Nothing really special. It's over priced and overrated. I've been here quite a few times over the last few years and I've never been impressed. There's a few things you can always be guaranteed to find in this store: dirty shoes, outdated clothing, and the rudest employees I have ever met in my life. Just wondering if the items they sell get washed before being put out on the floor to sell, because they always look grungy and grimey. Now, I'm not stupid, I know this is a resale store of previously owned items, but you could at least clean them to make them appear more desirable. Although, even if the shoes didn't disgust me with their appearance, I wouldn't buy anything from here anyway, the style they sell looks like the stuff I would have worn in middle school. Also I never plan on stepping foot in here again because if one of those employees rolls their eyes at me or shoots me a dirty look I might just lose it. Seriously don't you guys know that if you had good customer service that your selling average would go up by so much?! Like I just dare you guys to TRY to make a customer feel welcome when they enter your store and see how much of a difference that makes. And if it wasn't for everything else that put me off with this store, the way the owner replies to the reviews on here is just pathetic. Stop trying to defend yourself and make excuses, instead accept the criticism and USE IT TO GROW! This Clothing store is out of this world, with such Great Name Brand Selection of clothing in both Men & Women.. could use some larger sizes. I am an avid secondhand shopper but I've had better experiences at goodwill (that were consistent too). Of course, as per the owner's response to someone's similar comment, I should just keep coming back daily (as if anyone has time for that). Sidenote it is ADORABLE reading the owner's responses to people's comments. Honey if you staff has a reputation for bad attitude (which in reality they do) train them, don't get high on your horse explain it away. Just apologize, your pride is hurting your business. In this day and age business owners are more and more not seen as trustworthy people, (that should be obvious to anyone paying attention to anything), and acting like your customers are the problem isn't helping you. read more

This place has alright clothes but it's the people that work there that make me never want to go there ever again! My sister was going to exchange some of her clothes and afterwards while leaving she noticed that the woman had took her necklace. We went back and saw it behind the counter and asked for it back. Horrible service. I decided to go back there myself to look around, when I bought clothes there was this girl that looked so sad at the counter. Didn't even say hi. They don't even say welcome or anything. When she was done putting my purchase in the bag she said, "Here you go, thank you." And gave me a rude face. Whoever is the manager should fire her. I went in so i could sell a designer coach hand bag. it is one of the newest models and valued for resale at 180 in the condition it is in. the employes were rude and acted like they we're better than everyone else. the bag is in like new shape. the blonde proceeded to tell me the bag was very dirty and was only gonna give me 25 dollar. that is stupid. right before i went i took it to an appraiser who told me the value of 180 for resale. I've been coming to this store for a few years and like some others have said, it's hit and miss. Sometimes I find nothing I'm interested in and sometimes I find that perfect pair of designer jeans already altered perfectly for my short legs. I've had nothing but a good experience with the owners and other employees. They don't have smiles plastered on their faces which would be phony not to mention painful. Although they are usually pretty quiet, they've always been friendly and helpful when I've asked them any questions. I can find better deals at the thrift store. Even there name brand stuff is over priced for the wear and tear they have on it. It's a hit or miss. Even when I find something I still feel like I'm paying too much for used clothes. If you went gently used name brand, look on eBay or clothing apps where people sell there clothes. read more

First off this is Temecula, not Beverly Hills! I went in yesterday to sell some jeans that I hardly wore. One pair was Seven of All Man Kind and the lady wouldn't take them because they aren't selling. Another pair was Levi (high end) and she wouldn't take those either. The customer service was horrible and I felt like telling her that this is Temecula! The lowest of brands she would take for jeans is AE or Hollister. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Went there for the first time on a Friday, pulled up at 11:05. Hours on window said they should be open, open sign was not lit and it looked closed. Called and no one answered. Waited until 11:15, still no one there. Saw a black BMW with two girls in it trying to go around a person who was backing up in the parking lot in front of the store. They looked put out and irritated that someone was backing. I decided to leave and as I was pulling away, noticed those two girls from the BMW slowly walking up to the store, talking on their cell phones. Can't believe they were the workers. I don't know who would shop there, or try to sell their clothing there. Seriously a joke. And by the looks of those girls, they must not realize their store is in a dumpy gross tiny shopping center or else they'd get off their high horses, open their store on time, and get their noses out of the air. read more

I don't always find a million things, but when I do they are a great price and a current style. I try to stop here every couple weeks to trade or sell clothes, they take most of the things I have and give me a pretty good offer. I'm not disappointed, I got a brand new 70 dollar bikini with tags on it for 29 bucks and my boyfriend some brand new 65 dollar trunks for 18 bucks. They have a very wide selection if your lookin for summer attire that is still on the racks at the mall. read more

I walked in the store two girls at the counter did not even look up when I walked in just sat behind the counter as if they could care less a customer walked in.As i was looking at the jewerly counter they both were standing right in front of me and not once looked at me or said can I help u, I then had to ask to see a pair of earings and all I got was "Yeah" and seemed as tho I was annoying her. I have been in this store several times and will never go back. I can go to garage sales and find some used clothes as nice for way less and get treated much better. I have spoke to many people who feel the same way. I suggest you hire older people not kids and maybe people will want to come back because your staff is rude and unfriendly who need training in customer service. I don't understand why people have given this place bad reviews. I went to plato's closet with 6 huge bags filled with clothes, shoes, and jewelry and they were far more selective than urban exchange. I wish I just brought all of my items here! They paid more than Plato's closet and chose the items that Plato's didn't. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked into this store to the moment I left. The owner was the one who went through my items and she was an absolute sweetheart, so was the man who was working with her. Maybe other people just had bad experiences with other employees and not the actual owners. People need to remember this is a business and they will only buy what will sell and keep them in business! That mini skirt may have been with you on your very first date back in 2008 but to other people, it isn't in style anymore and it's time to let go without taking it personally. I have gone to this store numerous times to sell items. Often times some of the items still had the price tags on them. They were of course high end designer clothing, purses and shoes. The female older blonde had an uppity personality. She has never purchased one item in all the times I have taken high end trendy fashions in there. I will NEVER go back to that store again to be insulted. I think it is a gimmick to get you to come into the store so you will buy what she is already selling. I browsed around to be fair but honestly, I have seen better selections in a back alley dumpster. She makes up her mind as soon as you walk in the door, as to whether she will buy from you or not. If you don't look like Barbie or Ken then don't bother doing business there. This place is NOT worth the time of day. If she cannot and will not buy from people she expects to purchase from her then why should I waste my time? First time shame on you. Second time, shame on me. NEVER AGAIN. read more
