I bring my dog here for grooming because normally the groomer leaves her hair cut very nice. The only problem i have is when they over book themselves and have my dog in the kennel for over 5 hrs. I (regretfully) booked my dog a grooming and called the morning of, to make sure they had proper staffing to attend the pets, personnel stated they only had one groomer and would be very busy. I opted to cancel the app due to their bad scheduling and was charged a deposit fee because for rescheduling. When i brought in my dog for her next appointment, i made sure to schedule for sufficient time within my daily schedule for grooming. After 4.5hrs I called to see how much longer she would be, because i had other things i needer to attended to. Front desk told me she had only JUST been bathed and no grooming had began. I expressed how frustrating it was to have to pay a deposit fee for their poor scheduling only to have my dog waiting for 4.5 hrs to just be bathed. I asked if i could pick my dog up and come back for grooming another time and they told me they would have to charge me full grooming price and would charge me full grooming price AGIAN when she got brought back in for her hair cut and nail buff. I was so upset but decided to wait to avoid getting charged 2x. They called me 30mins later to let me know my dog was ready. When i picked her up, her hair had barely been trimmed down. Her hair was uneven and her nails were not buffed. However i was still charged full price and ask to leave a tip. This will be our last visit to this place. Very disappointing for a $120 service. Urban Pet, please properly schedule while keeping your staffing in mind. Its not fair to have animal in kennels w no food or ability to use the restroom just because you dont want to lose money on cancelling or rescheduling appointments. I've used Urban Pet twice, with two different results. The first time everything was spot-on; no long waits (2 hours), and a good job. So I went back the following month with an appointment. When I got there, I asked what time I should come back to pick up my Golden. The gal said "4 hours." I don't know about others, but I make an appointment so my dog doesn't sit in a cage for hours on end, for a 1 hour job. I asked them did employees call in sick? Did they overbook? No, was the answer. So I said I guess I'd have to go somewhere else because I don't want my dog sitting in a cage for 3 hours. They changed their tune, and began working on her right away. I was really satisfied with my dog's haircut, but I wasn't satisfied how my dog acts afterward, I'm not really sure what they've done to him, but I'm definitely not taking him there again, my dog is shaking all day long I was thinking he's cold or something but it appears it's not, and every time I left him up he cry and scream like something hurting him or he's on pain, I'm not really sure what they've done to him, my dog never act like this before! We've been taking our 9 year old Pug to this location for the last year. For the most part service has been consistent and friendly. I've recommended the location time and time again. Convenient, lots of pet friendly desserts, dresses, and leashes. More importantly our pup gets excited. Today my interaction was very different. Generally her bathe is done within an hour and she smells amazing. Today it took 2.5 hours and they either didn't spray her or used unscented shampoo. I also noticed an additional $10 was added to our bill. When I inquired on the increase a staff member i've never encountered became defensive and accusatory. Questioning previous payments and implying the store had been charging incorrectly over the last year. At one point another staff member attempted to intervene and explain they recently increased their prices. She was over talked and ignored. What should have been a positive interaction was both unpleasant and unnecessary. Nonetheless paid the bill added a tip and took it as a lesson learned. If your in the area this is still a great option. For our family it's no longer worth the 30 minute commute. Recommend looking elsewhere for consistent quality and service. read more

My dog is a chewer so while she was waitIng to get groomed she chewed her leash , they called me right away to notify , apologized and offered to buy a new leash , they gave an estimated time frame for pick up and exceeded it by an hour they called and said she would be ready in 20 mins so we could get ready to pick her up, my dog was happy while in their care she didn't seemed stressed or scared being away from us in a new place . I would not recommend this place. Took my dog in and had asked that my dog would be de-shedded and trimmed. When I picked up my dog I was charged more then I was told, my dog was not trimmed at all and she was still shedding everywhere. When picking her up the girl was rude telling me I never asked for a trim (which I specifically asked over the phone). I left very disappointed. I called back the next day to speak to a manager, who I had to play phone tag with for a few days. When I finally get a hold of her she accused me of lying and that she looked at the video cameras and that I never asked for my dog to be trimmed. I'm sorry but I'll never do business with this pla. I advise anyone who reads this review to lease not take your pet to this person that calls herself a dog groomer. Karina the owner of this location beat my 2 year old Maltese. One week ago today I called her to ask her if she would allow my dog to get groomed without having his shots up to date. When I asked her over the phone the only question she asked was if my dog was aggressive. I said no so she no problem. 3 days later I took my dog to the vet worried he might have rabies after biting a family member he loves dearly. The vet hospital I took him to say after many tests Dory was beaten horribly by the groomer that was causing him not to want to eat or be able to go poop due to the back pain he was suffering. Dory hasn't been able to walk after 7 days today, My vet bill was $525.00. I'm refusing to speak to the owner of this groomer because I want all our conversation written in stone. Tomorrow morning I'm going to file a police report as well call animal control and report her for animal cruelty, Of course, I will make her responsible for paying the vet bill however that is not where it's going to end. If she beat my dog without having any remorse for her actions so help me God if I have any for her when I testify in court in front of a judge. This is by all means not a threat, I promise you, I will put this case in Gods hands, the laws hands and you will get what you deserve read more

He was excited to come home, but I could tell the ladies treated him very well while they bathed him and gussied him up!
