I paid $200 for a flower arrangement to accompany the urn. When I met with Ms. Woods in her shop I shared a photo of the urn and emphasized that the event would be a celebration with vibrant colors. I trusted Ms. Woods to design the arrangement. The flower arrangement was delivered to the church on time, but was understated, dingy and not fresh. The roses were dull, scentless and limp; the bases of several of the accompanying flowers were blackened and rusting; and several of the greens were blemished and spotted, and several of their pointed tips had been cut off. Ms. Woods attributed the problems to the wholesaler who provided the flowers and gave me a $55 credit. However, $145 was still far too much to have paid for a stale and blemished flower arrangement for such an important occasion. I strongly support independent community-based small businesses, but I do not recommend Mary Woods Florist. ):

I placed my order at 7:30 am on the 14th and selected the available same day delivery. They never arrived. On the 15th I called. I'm not sure who I spoke with but the conversation went as follows; Me: "Hello, I placed an order that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and never arrived" Them: "Oh, yea we had 5 or 6 things that didn't get delivered yesterday." Me: "Ok" Them: "Where was it supposed to go?" Me: "Gives address" Them: "Ok, so what do you want me to do then." Me: "What do you mean?" Them: "I mean you want it delivered or a refund?" Me: "Well I would like it delivered, please" Them: "Yea, ok. What was it?" Me: " a floral arraignment" Them: "Ok, I'll throw a few extra sprigs in it" Bye. While I do appreciate the offer of a refund, I have never had a more unprofessional conversation with a business. I should add it sounded like they were eating during the conversation. And to top it off the item that finally arrived 24 hours late, barely looked like the photo.

On April 11, 2026, Bell donated five beautiful arrangements for the annual Right From the Start event, celebrating Black Maternal Health Week. This event, at Holy Cross Hospital, featured the Walk With a Doc (where community members took a gentle walk through Sligo Creek Park with the Montgomery County Health Officer, Dr. Kisha Davis) and culminated in a Dad's Talk, featuring Eugene Schneeberg of Father's Forward. Bell's beautiful arrangements were smartly displayed and later gifted to some of the community members/birthing people in attendance. This free event celebrated Black Maternal Health week and brought together community partners including local politicians and resource providers to enhance the birthing experience of community participants. Attendees were able to engage with county services and programs, meet community partners, and listen to reproductive justice leaders share health information and personal testimonies. The special touch of flowers provided by Bell enhanced the event. As one attendee commented, "These flowers are gorgeous. Thank you so much! They are a reminder of how special this day was." Thank you BELL for your continued commitment to support an improved pregnancy outcome program by your beautiful and thoughtful donation. If you ever need a floral arrangement for your special events, please consider Bell Florist. They set the standard for the industry--excellence in the form of flowers.

See photos. This is really obnoxious and disgusting behavior and Bell Flowers should not employ this man any longer. I would never order from them and will be suggesting the sender to remove them from their vendor list.
