The folks at park Florist are very reliable and they send me a picture of the arraignment every time. This is great, because now I know what I'm actually giving! And their arrangements are pretty much spot-on with the pics on the website. They also don't cost anymore than the national brands. Such a great company. My go-to for flowers in MD from her on. Flowers I ordered for my Aunt's 90th birthday

I am so tired of ordering flowers from these internet companies & when the flowers arrive...they are NOTHING like you ordered until I found Park Florist in Maryland. It was my aunt's 90th Birthday and I wanted her to have something SPECIAL, so I searched for a florist near her home & found Park Florist! Their website I was skeptical since I just got BURNED! I called and asked about the one I wanted and the person on the phone informed me WHERE they get their flowers from so I said let's do this! Well I was NOT disappointed at all and when my Aunt called me...she had one of the delivery people take a picture for her since she is NOT technically inclined. Thank you very much for being what you ADVERTISE you said you CAN DELIVER! Thank YOU!

Great experience with Park Florist! Their website was easy to navigate. My niece and her family recently moved from Baltimore area to Silver Springs, MD. I live in Los Angeles and had to find a new florist for her annual bday flower arrangement. Wasn't sure I would find a florist as fantastic as the one I have used in the Baltimore city area for many years. After quite a bit of research I chose Park Florist and so glad that I did! I ordered the October Giving Blossoms with Premium Upgrade and trio of Seattle Chocolate Bars for my niece's bday! She was thrilled with the arrangement and chocolates! Park Florist continues to provide amazing service. I love that they take photos of the arrangements when they are sending them out. It is also just so much nicer to get these than flowers packed into an overnight box. When I have needed help, I call and they talk me through what I need. I had to send funeral arrangements on Valentines Day (terrible timing) and was worried about how busy they would be and what they might have left in stock. Since I wasnt ordering red roses it wasn't a problem for them, and they sent a beautiful arrangement. Today, I needed to send an arrangement, and I already got an email from the person I sent them to - they recieved them and were blown away. Great florist with beautiful arrangements and easy, reliable delivery. Came upon them through Google ahead of Valentine's Day, since a nearby florist in the area had moved. I have now used them multiple times. They had a great selection to choose from and their prices were competitive with other options. Their delivery went off nicely, and they do a good job of respecting your delivery-timing preferences (within reason, of course). They will almost certainly be my first choice of go-to florists. read more

Stumbled on Park Florist when looking for a Comfort Plant to a close friend that loss her Father. I called to place the order and it was ready for pick up the next morning. They were super friendly, helpful and fast. The plant came in 3 different sizes and instead offering me the largest and most expensive option, she recommended that I go with the second size up since it wasn't so bulky and would be better for toting. I highly recommend this hidden treasure for all of your floral needs. read more

Established in 1935.

We are carrying the long legacy of a local small florist in Takoma Park, Maryland. The current owner Jeanne and Dennis Ha who owned the business is following the tradition of local family business from more than four different families, serving DC metro area since 1935.

Meet the Business Owner: Jeanne H.

Jeanne Ha, AIFD CFD Certified judge/evaluator Co-Owner, Wedding and special event director (Who is always creating something new) Jeanne has the job of her dreams: florist and owner of a retail shop! Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, she has a strong foundation in art and music (has too many degrees in music from Seoul National University and University of Maryland). She was inducted as a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers in 2010 and is currently a proud member of the Society of American Florists, The Independent Floral Designers Association, and Old Town Takoma Park Business Association. She also served multiple terms as a Teleflora unit president. She has won numerous floral design competitions and been featured in many publications, along with her own floral design books "Asian Allure" and "Ready, Set, Design". Jeanne lives in Takoma Park with her husband and co-owner, Dennis; her three children; her mom, Sunny; Rocky, her cat, and Mizu, her Shiba Inu dog.

So impressed. SO impressed. I went to Park Florist for my wedding flowers, after being kicked around by some very unprofessional florists in Gettysburg PA, where my wedding took place. For all the bad of those folks (exorbitant prices for cringe-inducing, garish color combinations and faded flowers, unprofessional demeanor and endless delay and unresponsiveness), Park Florist was the heavenly opposite. They ACED the wedding flowers. Absolutely. From start to finish, Bethany and Jeanne at Park Florist were incredibly responsive, professional, warm, creative, and wonderful to work with. I met with Bethany and she *really* listened to my tastes and preferences; she asked for swatches of my dress color to work with, and she took a great deal of time and care in discussing ideas and making sure her (excellent!) design ideas suited my personality, wedding style, and budget. She was really patient and answered about 5 phone calls from me about flower design and budget; please don't bug her as much as I did, she knows what she's doing. :) The result was truly beautiful, Truly tasteful; she used in all kinds of interesting greenery, and my vague idea of "ruffly" flowers she turned into a gorgeous mix of blush lisianthus, garden roses and spray roses, and astilbe--better than anything I could envision and perfect for what we were going for. I got so many oohs and aahs over the bouquets!! They were so nice about pricing. We were a pretty small order, doing only wedding party flowers and some rose petals; other places turned up their noses at us for that, seriously. Bethany was wonderful about discussing ways to redesign bouquets, etc., to fit our budget. Their prices were very reasonable. Slightly higher than the bargain-basement prices I was quoted some places for very basic flowers, but it's clear that here you're paying for real artistry, skill, and quality assurance. I felt I could trust them with the order, and they really came through!! The cheaper places I talked to would let flowers turn brown in their fridges... miss appointments, not respond to calls...ugh!! I wish I was exaggerating. Thank you, Park Florist, for being professional. Not to mention that my wedding was 80 miles away from their store!! They even offered to deliver (at an understandable delivery fee for that distance and loooong driving time), but a friend of mine came through and transported the flowers. Park Florist packed them so carefully in beautiful, decorative boxes with everyone's names on them--our wedding photographer actually took detail shots of the BOXES as well as the flowers! Like, wow. If only everything else we want to do goes this well : ) We wanted to send a birthday arrangement from NYC to Silver Spring, which I'd never done, so I spent a long time poring over the florist sites from a Yelp search. I'm not crazy about the idea of calling 1800 Flowers and getting from whatever random florist. Why not find one and call directly? I liked Park Florist's site best. It seemed less generic than others and the photos of the arrangement options looked like they had taken them themselves of their actual flowers rather than the ones on other sites which mostly looked like stock photo images. I liked the choices, clicked one and sent it, she got it and loved it. I got a call from them that morning to clarify a (poorly worded) extra direction I added about the recipient's building and she couldn't have been sweeter, and I really appreciated the call. As soon as the delivery was made I got an email from them, which was terrific because I didn't have to wait until getting a call from the recipient to know mission was accomplished. The flowers were very fresh and lovely and impressively arranged and delivered on time and in great shape. What more could I ask for? : ) I will definitely use Park Florist the next time I want to send flowers in the area. Highest recommendation. read more

This shop is beyond amazing. I was ordering a Valentine's Day bouquet for my girlfriend who lives out of state. The ordering process was seamless and very efficient. I ended up emailing the shop to ask for some additional tulips and they responded immediately confirming my request. On Valentine's Day, I was surprised by my girlfriend and realized that the flowers I had ordered for delivery on Valentine's Day would get delivered, but she wouldn't be there for 3 more days. I called the shop on Valentine's Day to ask if they could delay the delivery. They were so incredibly nice and helpful. The flowers arrived the following Tuesday (during a snow storm) and were absolutely stunning. This is definitely my go-to shop for flowers for any occasion. After seeing the horrendous arrangements from the bigger flower chains, I was so happy I went with a local florist. I ordered the My Fair Lady bouquet which is full, creative and beautiful. Thank you Eryn for your excellent artistic talent.. She was very patient with me, as I requested a certain look which was filled above and beyond. I was not rushed, but instead, understood. .compared to other florists I have used with rudeness and a non caring approach trying to shorten a conversation. I will always recommend Park Florist and of course use them again. Eryn was caring, made excellent suggestions, friendly, and professional .. I actually called back three time to ask questions and change a few things, and was so happy that she responded positively.. For a small extra charge I was able to tell her my choice time of delivery within the hour and it was kept. Even my request for a light pastel vase was honored. The customer service was excellent, including that of the the delivery person , I felt bad as I wanted to tip him and forgot. . read more

I went in 2 days before my wife's birthday, and talked to Jeanne about possible arrangements. She gave me her website info and advised me to take my time, pick one out, and she could have it ready by 5 the day before the birthday as long as I got the order in before 3, which I thought was awesome. I figured out what I thought my wife would want and placed teh order over the phone, the girl who answered was very clear and helpful. When I went to pick up the flowers I was amazed at how beautiful the arrangement was, and spent some time talking to Jeanne about flowers, arrangements, roses (did you know that 80% of women would rather have an arrangement than just roses) and her cats. I totally reccomend this place, they're really friendly, professional, on time, and make a mean bouquet. :) read more

Recently my mother was in a local nursing/rehab center during the Valentine's Day weekend. As far as I can remember & even as a child, I've always shared flowers with her during holidays and birthdays. I now live in North Carolina and with visiting restrictions due to the pandemic, it's been difficult to see her in person while she's been admitted. I located Park Florist and called late Friday just prior to closing and they were so generous & helpful. My mother received the flowers the very next day and absolutely loved the arrangement. Park Florist also emailed me a photo of the actual flowers that went out that day, which was very reassuring. I plan to continue using Park Florist services in the future for not just my mother and maybe not just for the holidays. read more

Wonderful personal help--from a distance! I called from Iowa City to ask for flowers to be delivered to Rock Creek Cemetery for the 1 year anniversary of my mother's death. I chose Park Florist from a selection provided by my internet search because I lived there for 15 years several decades ago, and loved it. To make things more complex, I also asked for an arrangement for my father, who is buried near my mother. I hadn't done this before, and Jeanne was gracious and helpful, and the flowers were delivered when they were supposed to be and all went well! She only charged 1 delivery fee and 1 placement fee (paid to the cemetery). She also sent me photos of the completed arrangements! Beautiful! I will use them again for any deliveries in the future! read more

After a recent on-line search of florists in the DC area, I called Park Florist to inquire about their dish gardens and I am so happy I did. They were friendly, patient and knowledgable about their products. They also offer their dish gardens in gorgeous ceramic bowls which is exactly what I was looking for. When I couldn't decide what color bowl to choose I was emailed a picture of my options! I also received a picture of the dish garden before it was delivered and the plants - so green, vibrant and healthy - were artistically arranged in the beautiful turquoise ceramic bowl. Delivery was the same day even though I placed my order mid-morning. All this for a reasonable cost! Thank you to everyone at Park Florist; I am a happy customer! read more

I do not live in the area, so I picked Park Florist because of the positive reviews. And I was not disappointed! I've had very negative experiences with long distance orders for flowers in the past with different vendors. So I was concerned about whether the order, price, etc. would be right this time. No worries here - the service was wonderful, the price was right, and the delivery fast. Plus, the unexpected follow up email with a photo of my order was just great - it let me view the actual flowers I paid for. Such a nice touch. The only problem was that I think they spelled the last name of the recipient incorrectly (Neumann is the more unique spelling, I know). Regardless, I would highly recommend this business. read more

Recently, my next-door neighbor, who is elderly, suffered a heart attack. My neighbors decided to welcome her back from the hospital with a nice bouquet of flowers and placed an order with Park Florist. The delivery kept having to be postponed because the hospital wouldn't release our sick neighbor. Finally, the day before the flowers were supposed to be delivered, the neighbor who had initiated the order had to leave town. She passed the last details (including what the card should say) on to me, and I called Jeanne. Despite all the delays and the last-minute game of post office, a beautiful bouquet was delivered the next day, as promised and without a hitch. It's always hard when you are far away when someone you love is in the hospital and you want to let them know what they are on your heart and in your prayers and want to brighten their day. Thankfully my sister in Virginia found Park Florist as my other two sisters and I live in Florida and our cousin's wife is in the hospital in Maryland. Going the extra mile to send us a photo of the beautiful and cheerful arrangement was above and beyond any customer service we could have conceived of and shows they rightly have in their expertise. We needed sympathy flowers for a colleague and it was massively important to us that they be beautiful but didn't have any previous experience with florists in that area so had to make a decision based on internet reviews (and their website of course). I rarely get time to post online reviews for anything, but in case anyone else is in the same situation, you should know this florist is fantastic. We placed an order last night, they arrived the next morning and by the response of our colleague, they were absolutely perfect. We've sent and picked up flowers for celebrations, anniversaries, commerations, professional events, funerals and congratulatory bouquets - and always felt grateful that we have such a fabulous florist in our neighborhood. I cannot think of another florist who brings more creativity, style and imagination to her work - Jeanne is incredibly gifted. I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday few weeks ago. Flowers were totally dead.My mom was shocking. I called this flower shop.And also,I was talking to the owner. She was super rude and no respect at all. She didn't change my flowers and she said "Your mom doesn't know the flowers" That is made me angry so bad. I asked my friend who is working at Takoma Park. He said"Be careful ! They use recycle flower from funeral home" My flowers were looks like that. I totally agree with my friend. I will never order my flowers at this flower shop. l can highly recommend Park Florist for flower needs, having a very lovely casket spray done for my Mothers' recent burial. l made the purchase via phone after seeing what they offered online and what was delivered was exceptional and true to what Park Florist advertised online. Many people who came to my Mothers' viewing remarked about the casket flowers, how beautiful a tribute to Mom it was. My Mother loved simplicity, and l am certain she looked down from Heaven in approval. This arrangement was a custom order taken from a photo I sent them and I explained to them how 'special' it needed to be. To begin, I must say how impressed I was with the level of customer service. They were very patient, polite and listened carefully. They answered all my questions and made helpful suggestions. I called Park Florist this morning for a last minute birthday -same day delivery to my niece -a freshman at University of Maryland. I had used yelp to find a local florist because I live in PA. Not only were they eager to help and accommodate the last minute delivery, but the sent me a pic of the flowers and they were absolutely stunning! My niece already received and was thrilled. I wanted to send flowers to a close friend who had just gone through surgery today. It was nearly noon and I didn't think I could find a florist that would accommodate a same day delivery order. My go-to DC florist had recently raised her prices beyond a reasonable level, even with Covid. Then I found Park Florist on Yelp and decided to give it a try. What a gem of a find! I ordered online a plant to be delivered for a home going service. The florist was suggested by my local florist (Flowers and Fancies). You are some what hesitant when using an establishment for the first online but this could not have been a better experience. Park Florist far exceeded my expectations.
