Decided to try out Urban pie after seeing them on Bar Rescue. My husband and I frequent Evergreen Butcher across the street often and never knew what was over here until the show. The pizza was delicious! We decided to build to our own and paired it with a half order of wings which were pretty good as well. The bathrooms were decently clean. Street parking right outside, easy and convenient.

If you're looking for pizza the size of your face plus your ears, and neck. Heck your torso! This is the spot. I am a thin pizza kinda lady. They didn't disappoint. The crust could have been a little fluffier, but no biggie. I enjoyed the size and flavor. The cheese pull is not from here to Tegucigalpa, but not necessary. Bartenders had good convo. They even bring samples to the folks across the street at evergreen, in line. Ask about the sweet potato shots seasonal specialty. Yummo. Chill place for shots and socializing.

This is what we received and still had to pay $50 for

I was in Atlanta for work and based on the 4.8 star rating in the Slice app I was very excited to try them. My husband and I ordered a small BBQ chicken pizza and a small byo with roasted garlic, spinach and cheese, as well as a cheesy bread appetizer and two cans of pop. However, what we received was a cold cheesy bread appetizer, literally the marinara sauce was warmer than our food. We were completely missing the BBQ chicken pizza and the other pizza had no toppings on it. The drinks were fountain drinks instead of cans, and our driver dropped one (granted this is not on the restaurant, but it wouldn't have happened if we had received cans, which I specifically ordered instead of the fountain drink option for this reason). The restaurant would only refund the money for the missing pizza, the spilled drink and the toppings we didn't get on the other pizza. Essentially making us have a cheesy bread appetizer and a small cheese pizza. We still had to pay $50 when all was said and done. That is wild to me, admit defeat at that point, apologize and refund me. I would have never even written the review had they acknowledged how big of a mess up this was. Instead I had to argue with a 3rd party app to even get a fraction of the money back because they said the restaurant wouldn't allow the refund. I frequent the area multiple times a year for work and I would have given the restaurant another chance, because I know things happen sometimes, but it's all in how it's handled. This was handled very poorly.

Fantastic meal and drag bingo I came here after my bookclub and was not disappointed.

can't be bothered to update their menus, prices have more than DOUBLED since bar rescue. Bar rescue did not do any rescuing at all. would have been better to just put the whole thing down. Owner lets her dog run loose in the kitchen, food was cold and congealed, they gave us 6 menus but only one of them was the "real" menu, which just had childlike crosses and circles over the few menu items they have left. apparently the dog found a mummified rat in the kitchen. this place will leave you with questions like: is that real? why is the barbecue chicken pizza *like* that? why does my food look sentient? not coming back i fear

Not only were the pesto fries a home run, but the gluten free pizza won the whole ball game! It's challenging to find delicious, gluten-free pizza, but alas, it's made in Kirkwood! Also, our waiter was friendly and we even got a visit from the resident cat. Is it a neighborhood cat? Is it a restaurant only cat? Whose to know for sure, but it has certainly been pudgeing out on the premium toppings.

My Mr. and I wanted pizza for dinner and was looking for some local places nearby. Urban Pie seem to have really good reviews so we gave it a try. We ordered takeout via online through Yelp. We ordered: Spinach salad (large) Margherita pizza Mirkwood BBQ chicken pizza Granted on a Saturday night it was busy which was understandable. When my Mr got there at estimated pick up, it wasn't ready. There were three orders before him. Again, he was patient and was cool about it. When he got home, there were a couple of things that was wrong with our order. He asked for Jalapeños on his pizza. Did not add. Paid for large salad, got a small. Asked for lemon vinaigrette dressing, received Balsamic. I thought the food was good. Loved my Margherita pizza. The crust was on point and the sauce had a great flavor. With tip we paid $60.00 (with tip) for two 12" inch pizzas and a large salad (paid for a large only got a small). Very pricey in my opinion. He didn't feel like walking back because we were tired from a long drive from Cincy so we just dropped it. If the order was right, then the money we spent would've been well worth it.

Food: seems to be made to order. Fresh and hot every time. Customer service: when we walked in we were warmly greeted and the seating was explained to us. Vibe/atmosphere: can be family friendly, night out with friends and a great place to hang with friends. The have a bar as soon as you enter and big tv screens for entertainment. Cleanliness: VERY clean. Outside seating wasn't sticky or with bird poop like a lot of places are. Very neat and even the restroom was nice and clean. Parking: parking on the side street (free) and also some ppl parked at the library across the street. Pizza is VERY good. I've been twice and both times the wait time was 25-35 minutes. I watched football and sipped on my drink until the food came. It was worth the wait. My waiter was friendly and very attentive. I'm unsure of who the guy was at the bar but he was very very friendly.

The Food is mediocre, the politics prevent me from ever going back. Drag queens can shake their stuff somewhere else.

Pretty good pizza, I had garlic bread and a small BBQ pizza, if I lived in the area I would patronize this establishment on a regular.

And there's even a small and very cute shop in the very front. What we had was the lunch combo. The sandwich came with a side, cookie, drink, and fruit. It's such a good value and quality for what you get. The sandwich was simple but fresh and tasty. The medium bowl of soup had real body and was really flavorful. The cookie was surprisingly tasty and won't make you cringe with the sweetness level. And the fruit was fruit. There's nothing wrong or great to call out. The sandwich was superb. The soup was very hearty. And even the cookie was tasty. This lunch was pretty filling even sharing it as I had coffee already. The good news is, there's room to eat somewhere else as I'm still hungry.
