Ordered the Grease Monkey which consists of all meat, also ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza. The Grease Monkey was good, but the BBQ Chicken pizza by far was the best! I also decided to add the jalapenos. They were extremely hot so next time I'll ask for light jalapenos. If you like thin crust this place is for you! Unlike New York pizza you won't have the grease dripping down your arm here! This is a very small quaint place, and it is best to go when it's warm out since there is outside seating. Very cramped inside and the bar is extremely small. That's the only downside to this spot. Otherwise service was friendly and very accommodating. Overall would give this place 3 1/2 stars. read more

We supported this restaurant throughout the pandemic and not once did we have a pizza fall below the excellent standards the kitchen has produced. We've eaten well over 200 pizzas in the last year.... not one pizza was less than perfection. You will be ignored when you walk into the busy hours to get your order. This is due to the overwhelming amount of foot traffic and staffing issues that most restaurants are suffering from. Our recommendation is delivery.... eventually the staffing matter will be resolved... but right now... we've experienced this a few times. read more

Vegan Friendly Review: Before heading out of town for the day we stopped at Urban Pie in East Atlanta (Kirkwood) for some pizza. We sat outside and it was loud and dusty as the establishment was trying to finish up some renovations before a festival the next day. Besides that annoyance, everything was outstanding! My wife and I split a pizza as I got mushrooms, spinach, and vegan cheese on my end. My wife got wings for an appetizer and said they were outstanding. I enjoyed the pizza as well and really appreciate the Vegan options. What a cool little pizza joint! The $2.00 off a large pizza with a Yelp check in is also an added bonus. read more

When I placed my phone order the gentlemen told me between 40-45 minutes till the pizza would be ready. My son and myself arrived at the 45 minute mark. Right away the person behind the bar ask my name and he went to check on our pizza never got any update from him. After 15 more minutes asked a different person behind the bar the status of our order again no response after they checked. The third time I asked was informed it was cooking this was 1 hour and 20 after the order. Then all of a sudden our pizza was ready. When I paid for it this was the first time that I never left a tip because of such poor service and I'm glad no tip was given. Because when we got home which is less then five minutes by car our pizza was cold. read more

I placed a delivery order via Yelp Eat 24. The process was simple and the menu options seemed to be accurate. I ordered the Urban Calzone Plate and Small 12" cheese pizza. The order arrived 59 minutes after I ordered it which was within the estimated delivery time of 45-60 minutes. It was warm upon arrival. See the photos section for details as I posted both items. The pizza looked good and tasted good. I asked for standard condiments (Parmesan, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and garlic) but received packets of parm and flakes only. Not a big deal. I was not satisfied with the calzone. It was slightly burned in some areas. It had too much mozzarella and barely any ricotta. It had tons of garlic which is fine with me because I love the stuff. The marinara sauce was good. I'd probably just stick with pizza going forward, should I choose to order from them again. My gut told me not to order the calzone based on the reviews, but I didn't listen . I wasn't impressed but I'll give them a second chance one day. read more

I've never been inside the restaurant, so I can only comment on the food itself, and that is just pizza. That said, the selection and options are abundant and the quality is great. They are thin, fresh ingredient pizzas, with creative combos and a build your own option. The seasoning is a huge contributor to their taste and it is done with perfection. Amazing vegetarian options! Only draw back, the pizza is so good that it does not feed the recommended "per person" listed. When our waiter fired off the different types of flavors he named Honey Sriracha last. Being in treat I got that last flavor. I didn't regret it. It was a great flavor. The wings are loan were well cooked crispy and the flavor was the perfect amount. I pair that with a Bell's two hearted ale and I was good for very long time. The beau, the kid, and I decided to ride our bikes to Urban Pie for pizza and wings. After parking, we were warmly greeted by the waitress/bartender inside who shared with us the food and drink specials. We ordered a kid's slice for the tiny diner and wings for us. The beau got lemon pepper with a beer and I tried Cajun and jerk with a Jackie O cocktail. We shared a basket of fries. The food came out pretty quickly and was piping hot! After Grace, we dug right on in and we're delighted. The pizza was cut so the tiny diner could manage it easily. The wings were very well seasoned in dry rubs and crispy, just the way we like. The fries were good as well. No one goes wrong with a cold beer, so that was on point and the Jackie O was really refreshing. I wanted another, but remembered that I had to ride the bike back Hoke and thought better of it. Without question this is my favorite pizza place in Atlanta. The crust is thin and crisp, the sauce zesty and full flavored. Now they're also enjoying free music on Sundays from 5-8pm! The courtyard/outside covered seating is terrific and they've also greatly expanded the seating at the indoor bar (special every evening from 8-10 for a pint and a slice!). My rating is based off of the food. My food is always fresh hot and filling. The staff always greets and loves to engage in conversation. Visited on a Sunday afternoon; there was one other table. Ordered a cocktail which took 30 minutes to arrive. Turns out there was no bartender that day. Food - apps and salads - was also very slow to arrive. It was good. Last straw: one of us ordered a pizza and when - after an hour - we checked on its whereabouts, the server said the system did not take the order. My friends and I ordered a large margherita pizza on a Saturday afternoon. We waited an HOUR for just one large margherita pizza! None of the staff checked in on us to update us on the wait; we had to inquire after 30 minutes of waiting. They did tell us that they were backed up and apologized for the wait. The manager (I'm assuming) asked the cook how much longer and she said 15 mins. This time passed and still no pizza. Meanwhile, the cook was back there joking and talking to a Freire who stopped by. The man helping us tried to rush her and asked us if we wanted a free cupcake, but still no pizza. Even the delivery man said he's been waiting a while for his pizza as well. Eventually, the man helping us tried to speak to the owner about giving us the pizza for free, and the owner agreed. Thus, we got a free pie and a veryyyy delicious cupcake. The staff (minus the woman handling the pizza in the back kitchen) tried to help us and were very apologetic. The pizza was delicious and fresh!
