Instead of going high with the clippers, he stayed low and left some length up above to allow for some movement of the hair. No one has cut my hair this way (to my recollection) and I was very happy with the result. The best haircut I've had in quite some time. I was very confused by what was even going on. My hair was soaking wet, I had no idea what it even looked like. So I paid and left. Well when I got home and blow dried my hair is when I found out how awful of a job she did on my hair. She gave me a single color and her "lavender toner" she was raving about had done nothing to tone my hair. My hair naturally is a level 8, it's not so dark that I should have walked out with what I got.
