When I called, I got sales guy Eric Motley and first impression; he's waaaay to laid back, came in shorts to appointment looked at cabinets explained very quickly the process of removing doors, painting original frames whatever color I wanted, replace with style doors I wanted (shaker style) with WOODEN doors. So don't expect them to be resistant to fire or dings or 100% smooth surfaces! Price to replace 22 doors and 9 drawers all with soft close was $6800. If you supply door knobs and pulls they will install. Price was too good to be true:: once the down payment was sent, Eric promised week later all would be done! Unfortunately some scheduling conflicts with another contractor replacing my floor tile, and countertops, interfered with Eric crew, so we moved it too following week. Long story short, painting consists of covering existing frames with tape and paper which took longer than expected, doors installed following week, but with a ton of mistakes! Door above microwave we're never ordered, doors to the right, were measured short, the drawers, same things measured incorrectly, panels under sink never relived had to remind Eric it was missed! After all was installed, some doors were crooked, or not closing properly. Eric promised a new cutting board, slab of thin treated wood under sink. And white doors were dirty or smudged with fingerprint!! You can imagine my fury! Postponed completion yet ANOTHER week! Almost 1 month later crew came in to retouch paint fix drawers hinges install missing pieces! Paid final balance yesterday, 11/15/18, that evening one drawer panel under sink fell off (see pic) and today the hallway door (see 2 pics) fell off hinges !! I've texted Eric and he's not very good to respond! He or his crew do have a checklist to go off of per Eric but apparently no one "checks" it!! My recommendation don't pay balance until you are 200% happy with every single. I will say Tyler and Kasey are the young contractors who installed doors/drawers very polite very respectful young men.

Other companies warned that tile damage was likely during removal. Pacific Stone approached it differently. Their crew removed the granite with remarkable precision and didn't crack a single tile. That alone exceeded our expectations. During installation, Moses caught a flaw in our brand-new sink before we did. Instead of proceeding, he suggested we exchange it and even offered to pause the job so we could do it that day. That level of care says a lot about how they operate. A few weeks after the project was completed, we changed out our rangetop. Pacific Stone came back and carefully modified the installed quartz to fit the new appliance perfectly. From start to finish, their team was detail-oriented, responsive, and respectful of our home. The finished product looks fantastic, and we would absolutely work with them again.

Upon walking into the storefront, we were greeted by Bita who asked how she could help. We explained our tastes and what we were looking to do with new counters, backsplash and flooring. Within 15minutes we had selected a countertop motif, paired it with new tile backsplash and matched it with new solid surface floor options to consider. We appreciated the input from Bita on what to do and what not to do based on our desired color targets and how we needed it all to match with painting that would occur soon after. We agreed on this style, agreed on a time to meet at our house to measure for estimates and go from there. She did give us some verbal estimates which seemed inline, but the measuring would confirm it! As planned, Bita showed up and reviewed the scope of our effort, saw the space and made some additional recommendations as well. She set off and within a few days, we had a full proposal in our email inbox including some of the options we had discussed in-person. The pricing was good and the timing for the crews to work was as well. We got started on our project and other than a surprise plumbing issue that we couldn't have foreseen and some small issues removing old tile, all of the work and the updates were completed on time and on budget! I do recommend Bita and the team to others. Was everything perfect? Not really, construction in your home is tiring (especially while working at home during COVID) but the crews did the very best cleaning up everyday and minimized disruptions to our family and pets while they were there. Very happy with the flooring and the countertops, but I must say that the 2-man crew that did our tile work were artists! Not a single piece of our tile is misaligned or anything other than perfect. She was very helpful and asked us what kind of "look" we were after for our Master. She took the time to look at our existing Master Bath layout and then suggest a beautiful 24"x48" Calcutta Gold with a polished finish for our shower walls with a conservative contrasting 36"x 36" floor tile. We asked to look at Mosaics for the shower pan and Roya saw that we were in need of help deciding on a match with the wall tile. She suggested using our 36"x36" floor tile for and having her team use a service that cuts the large floor tile into smaller 2"x2" beveled tiles which are then placed on a 12" x 12" mesh just like any other Mosaic. That left the slab choice for our vanity countertop and she took the role of designer and pulled 3 different slab samples and made our choice easy! We took her advice and had an amazing experience both shopping and after purchase follow up including pro-active followups for tile availability date and pickup and contacting both us and our contractor. When my materials were stuck on a cargo ship, both Joe and Sam made accommodations to make me happy. Although the material wasn't my first choice of flooring, I am so happy it ended up stuck on the cargo ship because I couldn't be happier with the alternative choice I made. Things happen for a reason I guess. But point is, even though my alternative selection was more expensive and the cost of materials increased, both Joe and Sam stayed true to their word and didn't pass on their loss to me. THIS IS BIG! After repeatedly asking for pricing, I was eventually shown a single total on his tablet. When I asked for a printed quote or an emailed copy, the salesperson said their system does not generate written quotes at all. He explained that even if he had internet access, quotes could only be presented in person and must be signed immediately. He also stated that if I did not accept the quote on the spot, it would no longer be valid and the only way to move forward would be for him to return to my home and repeat the entire process. The quote included details on carpet, padding, and installation, and was provided in written form for review. Pricing from Tompkins was slightly lower than Empire Today, but the product was better. Both the carpet and padding options were higher quality, and the installation schedule was more flexible. There was no pressure to commit immediately, just clear information that made it easy to decide. The installation is scheduled for next week, and based on how smooth and professional the process has been so far, I'm guessing it will go smoothly.
