Not only did Brandon spend a lot of time with us on the carpet (which was a small job), he inquired if there was anything else they could assist with. We quickly learned that G & A does not just specialize in flooring, they provide a wide variety of services. In addition to carpeting, we needed painting, stone for countertops and expanded our project to replacing the tile in our laundry room (a long want on my wish list). I got 5 bids for painting and when combining all the above services, Brandon came in with the most competitive pricing. We went with G & A and are so happy that we did. I never felt like he was trying to upsell us and we felt their prices were very fair. In fact, Brandon offered us options with the stone that were more economical than other brands. Brandon was with us every step of the way! When the tile I picked out for the laundry room was discontinued, he found one very similar which I ended up liking better anyways. When they started the laundry room project, while removing the old baseboards, there was an issue with some of the drywall. Brandon quickly stepped in and had one of his guys perform drywall repair right away so as to not stall the project. They removed and reinstalled the washer/dryer as well. They also updated the 20 year old baseboards to match the rest of the house. All of G & A's laborers that worked in our home were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Brandon kept us advised every step of the way. I STRONGLY recommend G & A for any home improvement needs you may have and don't forget, they do way more than flooring! I was referred to this company by a friend who had her kitchen cabinets refaced! Her kitchen is…read moresmall and mine double the size! When I called, I got sales guy Eric Motley and first impression; he's waaaay to laid back, came in shorts to appointment looked at cabinets explained very quickly the process of removing doors, painting original frames whatever color I wanted, replace with style doors I wanted (shaker style) with WOODEN doors. So don't expect them to be resistant to fire or dings or 100% smooth surfaces! Price to replace 22 doors and 9 drawers all with soft close was $6800. If you supply door knobs and pulls they will install. Price was too good to be true:: once the down payment was sent, Eric promised week later all would be done! Unfortunately some scheduling conflicts with another contractor replacing my floor tile, and countertops, interfered with Eric crew, so we moved it too following week. Long story short, painting consists of covering existing frames with tape and paper which took longer than expected, doors installed following week, but with a ton of mistakes! Door above microwave we're never ordered, doors to the right, were measured short, the drawers, same things measured incorrectly, panels under sink never relived had to remind Eric it was missed! After all was installed, some doors were crooked, or not closing properly. Eric promised a new cutting board, slab of thin treated wood under sink. And white doors were dirty or smudged with fingerprint!! You can imagine my fury! Postponed completion yet ANOTHER week! Almost 1 month later crew came in to retouch paint fix drawers hinges install missing pieces! Paid final balance yesterday, 11/15/18, that evening one drawer panel under sink fell off (see pic) and today the hallway door (see 2 pics) fell off hinges !! I've texted Eric and he's not very good to respond! He or his crew do have a checklist to go off of per Eric but apparently no one "checks" it!! My recommendation don't pay balance until you are 200% happy with every single. I will say Tyler and Kasey are the young contractors who installed doors/drawers very polite very respectful young men.

No fancy displays, BUT a huge selection of door hardware & knobs (so many options that it makes your head spin) not to mention bathroom & kitchen remodeling and flooring. We selected the EMTEK Imperial entry double door set, with the locks keyed to match our existing Schlage locks. Joey, the owner, is a no pressure professional, who is very easy to work with and offered his expert knowledge and opinion. We were so pleased with the easy ordering and timely delivery, we have since ordered new door knobs for all of our interior doors.

They were shipped from New York so we waited about less than a week for the project to get started. Mark's son, Mark Jr. is who so meticulously created what I say an artistic masterpiece. If you zoom in there were such small, I mean small.. intricate tile pieces that he poured his sweat for days making sure that it was nothing less than perfection. We are so thankful that he treated our home like it was his own. Both Marks were so lovely to work with and we can't wait to work on our bathrooms next in the near future. Thank you just doesn't suffice the beautiful creation they made in our kitchen. They are honest, so communicative and responsible. On the last day Mark brought an electrician to make sure all outlets worked well and that the clean up was left as if nobody was even there. I mean how is that possible?! First there is Fred, Neema and family at the showroom who together made the whole experience worry free. Their knowledge and expertise in the products was obvious. Once narrowing our options down, Neema and Fred both stopped by as scheduled to measure the space and provide recommendations while also dropping off samples to visualize. Both stated multiple times, there is no rush, take your time. Once we locked down Fred stated the material should be ready for install in 2 weeks and beat the date. Once the material was ready, next up was installation. Neema called to ensure our questions on install were answered and like clockwork, Manuel and the team showed up ahead of time and installed our flooring with precision. What amazed us was that throughout the process, Manuel checked in multiple times to make sure we were up to date on the work. Install was unbelievably professional and the post install cleanup was impressive. No dirt or anything left behind. Only a phenomenal floor that only made us question why we waited so long. Randomly, I asked my wife to lets just walk into Flooring kitchen and bath to see, what did we have to lose, at this point we weren't getting anywhere anyway so lets see if they can help us at all. Upon walking into the storefront, we were greeted by Bita who asked how she could help. We explained our tastes and what we were looking to do with new counters, backsplash and flooring. Within 15minutes we had selected a countertop motif, paired it with new tile backsplash and matched it with new solid surface floor options to consider. We appreciated the input from Bita on what to do and what not to do based on our desired color targets and how we needed it all to match with painting that would occur soon after. We agreed on this style, agreed on a time to meet at our house to measure for estimates and go from there. She did give us some verbal estimates which seemed inline, but the measuring would confirm it! As planned, Bita showed up and reviewed the scope of our effort, saw the space and made some additional recommendations as well. She set off and within a few days, we had a full proposal in our email inbox including some of the options we had discussed in-person. The pricing was good and the timing for the crews to work was as well. We got started on our project and other than a surprise plumbing issue that we couldn't have foreseen and some small issues removing old tile, all of the work and the updates were completed on time and on budget! I do recommend Bita and the team to others. Was everything perfect? Not really, construction in your home is tiring (especially while working at home during COVID) but the crews did the very best cleaning up everyday and minimized disruptions to our family and pets while they were there.
