Came here with a group of friends and had the best time! The bowling was so fun. The drinks were delicious and the bartenders and staff were incredible. I accidentally dropped my wallet and they were so helpful and even called me to let me know it was recovered! Cannot say enough great things about this place! We are local to Urban Wild and stopped in the other night. This is a great addition to Boston! Good food, drinks, great service and lots to do. We sat out by the patio for a drink and dinner and then moved in to bowl. There is parking right in the building for $2!! Yes $2, unheard of in Boston so if you want to drive that is an option. This place is what it is. It's trying very hard to be a meat market for 20- and 30-something's, and when that was my thing, I would have been sort of OK with it. But it also postures like it's open to families. There was a kid's birthday party while we were here, for example, but like us, they got bounced around 6:30pm. We came on a Saturday around 5:30pm with our kid. There were probably 10 other families there too. After seating ourselves , we waited 20 minutes and then ordered at the bar. A bunch of gloomy people with notepads were wandering around, but they didn't seem to be taking orders or bringing drinks to us or anyone else. There were about a dozen guys with earpieces wandering around too that seemed equally devoid of responsibilities. The only service we got in the hour we were there was two admonishments (one from the doorman and one from another from one of the secret agents roaming da club) that at 7pm, it turns 21+. It has been a while since I saw a scene trying this hard. Guys, you could have won with the "just got my first jobby-job" crowd you are courting without alienating the people that actually tip that come a few hours before them. read more

One of the best bars in boston. Every time i come here i feel amazed because it only get better from management to service its like they want you to have the best time of your life. I wouldn't even know one bad thing to say because its is amazing from the second you walk in to the time you walk out , you almost dont want to leave because you will never remember how to fulfill the joy you had here. Urban wild is a good spot to blow money . First off it's over priced, waaaaay over priced. 107$ for an hour . They've even got booshie a$$ed Nike bowling shoes. For and extra 7$ . Sort of a yuppie spot .If you're from here (Boston) New England or Northeast you might be like me and NOT LOVE it . Here's why Urban Wild Research Development aka Marketing...you're in Charlestown MA not Charleston W Virginia when we bowl its candle pin. You know little balls , little pins , they almost look like a Candle they do. I don't want to choose from a 10 11 or 12 lb bowling ball. Once again this is Boston, get with it . We like candlepin bowling. People asked me prior to going .."is it candle pin or big balls " ? Well my little ball lovers Urban Wild has biggest balls asking for a 107$ to bowl for an 60 minutes. This ain't golf , it's bowling , it's supposed to be cheap and seedy. We did have fun though,can't lie about that . Maybe it was her and not those big sweaty hairy balls. read more

Draft beer is served in re-usable tin solo cups. This was gross because you could see dents in the rim of the cup from prior uses. Ambiance was cool, vibe was nice other than for some reason one of the bartenders kept getting up on the stage and trying to hype up the crowd which came off mega cringey. read more

As someone who was born and raised in Charlestown and a huge bowling fan, I had very high hopes for Urban Wild. And I do think they're almost there with a few recommendations -- please note, a lot of these were a collection of recommendations from others in the neighborhood who would like to make this a go-to spot: 1. You don't need bouncers in Charlestown, just have someone inside checking IDs if you're doing 21 and over. 2. Price your beer competitively. The cost of a Coors Light or PBR should NOT be $9. You can get cheaper beer at a fancier establishment in the same square mile, or even next door at Good Company. That's not okay. If you want people to stick around for games or longer periods of time you have to offer lower beer prices or specials. Otherwise, it's never going to become the hangout spot. 3. Bowling should not be so expensive. There's plenty of other options within the surrounding area that are much more affordable, and to be honest Hood Park is not on the way for many people so you're also asking them to come to you. 4. Offer more cocktail options and again, lower the prices. You have bartenders who don't know how to make margaritas, why are you charging $15 for them? 5. Again, lower some of the prices of apps and handhelds by just $1-$2 to compete with other establishments in Charlestown that are much more accessible to those walking around. You guys have a GREAT space and the decor is awesome. There's so much potential but every time I've been in there there's more people working than sitting. I think with these small tweaks you'll be able to get some more foot traffic in the door, and keep the locals coming in on a regular basis! read more

Best new spot in Boston! The ambiance and decor or the place is so amazing and well done. The food is top tier, the mushroom truffle bites are to die for and the quesadilla and cheesy bread were delectable. The summer crush drink was my favorite and the bartenders were very nice and provided amazing service. 10/10 definitely recommend everyone in the area to check it out!! read more

I went here on a Saturday night and the vibe was great. Service was good and didn't take too long. The food was tasty but a bit pricey. The DJ was playing bangers and the place was super spacey and nice. Quite a limited cocktail menu but overall, it was super fun and I had a great time. Free parking garage as well. read more

The server was excellent, but the food and drinks took so long to arrive. Is very unpleasant to have this service knowing that is part of the fin point family. Very disappointed about the timing between drinks and food. Have to wait around 20 minutes for a drink and is not even busy. They have to work more in their service. read more

great atmosphere and aesthetics food was okay, kind of overpriced for the quality of the food we received. the drinks were also okay. my group was suspicious the drinks and shots were watered/juiced down. the service was lacking. i think the problem was there was not an even spread of staff per area, causing really slow service. the staff was very friendly...but response time was slow. hopefully in the next weeks they gain their footing and have more to offer read more

Fun new spot with great service! For a new establishment they should have put more thought into an Allergy friendly menu and kitchen.
