My brother and I had such a great time at Kings, and we can't wait to come back! Super fun spot for bowling and arcade games, as well as billiards. Not badly priced as well. We played pool for an hour for $16 for the two of us, and bowling was about $40 for two people (including a shoe rental) for an hour as well. There was an hour wait for a bowling lane on a Saturday afternoon but we didn't mind, we played pool in the meantime. Service was spectacular, staff is super helpful and friendly. The bowling was great, fun for all ages. The one small thing I'd recommend is having a few more lighter bowling balls available at each lane. Our lane started at a size 8 ball (medium), and had only one, so we had to wait a bit for the 8 as we shared the balls with another group and most opted for an 8 or 9. I believe the Kings location at Dedham starts at a size 6. Would be better for kids I think. Nevertheless, it wasn't a huge problem for us because we're both decently tall/strong adults, so we were able to utilize the size 9/10. read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat delicious apps and have a fun drink. The must order is the buffalo chicken wontons, I could eat these all day! And I try to change apps each time I visit. This time we got the bbq chicken pizza, sauce and crust is great. We also got the southwestern chicken spring rolls - yummm enough said! Honestly never had a bad experience with service and food. The decor is a delight and you feel like they understand nostalgia and fun, whoever designed this place. There's a giant Scrabble board in the pool table room, lots of bowling lanes with pretty modern accommodations, and a large arcade off the bar. The service was sharp and just the right amount of attention to our company party. The only thing that gets in the way of awarding that fifth star was the food--the sliders were undercooked (does anyone ever order burgers that are completely pink inside?) and the drinks were weak for the size of them. But overall our company Christmas party was a delightful afternoon (only six of us but we were treated really well) that Kings helped us pull off in style. read more

Super friendly group here! Very welcoming and attentive staff. Our person came to us right when we got there and offered us menus and drinks. After that initial greeting, he continuously checked in on us . We ordered apps and they were just okay, as expected, but those waffle fries were pretty awesome. I used to come here a lot for drunk karaoke at the bar with my brother but it's been some time, this occasion was strictly for bowling and it was just ok. The concept of food/drink service while you're bowling is cool but we never actually had anybody come by our table for orders. Came here on a Saturday evening at around 9pm and the space was decently busy as we had to wait a bit to get an alley for bowling. We ended up eating beforehand and while the transition from food to activity was pretty seamless service wise, it was a little disappointing overall. The quesadilla I got was quite good and our server was really kind, but they got the pizza one of us ordered wrong ( gave buffalo chicken vs. bbq chicken ) and honestly, it was disgusting. The blue cheese drizzle was very off-putting in my opinion - usually blue cheese is obviously a little chunky due to the cheese, but they must puree this sauce or something because it was all smooth, but there was a graininess to the texture that I'm sure was the cheese. The crust and everything else about the pizza was fine, it was just the sauce that made the pizza very difficult to eat. The server was kind enough to remove both pizzas from our bill, but it wasn't ideal as we had to wait again for our friend to get his food. Our bowling experience was less than ideal as well as our lane kept breaking. We had to ask for help 4 times because the machine would just stop functioning in between turns, making it impossible for us to play as the pins wouldn't reset and we'd just be stalled until they fixed it for us. They eventually lowered the price and kept adding time every time this happened, but it still led to a terrible experience. One positive thing was that I was wearing sandals and they gave me socks for free which was super kind of them! Overall, the facilities and service were obviously doing their best, but technical difficulties and a small order mistake led to poor experience. I really think you are not there for the food or drinks (which are ok but nothing special), but to have fun doing a group activity. I was SO excited to have my party here! I spoke to Ashley Abraham, she was super nice and kind at first. She showed me "where" my party would be be, she was super sweet and convincing and I fell for it!!! Fast forward, I show up to my party, turns out her facts and what I booked was wrong. I was told by Ashley I was gonna have some high top tables, I was gonna be able to decorate and even have some "Reserved" sign on the tables. There were "Reserved" signs but weren't mine!!! I paid what I paid because of I was told. Sadly, I had to show up to my birthday party to find out this place was BS! That was only the icing on the cake though! My reservation was for 9pm, didn't get into my bowling lanes until 9:30. The manager was "so kind" he told me I could have the extra 30 mins I already lost! Wow. Please don't go out of your way. And then the server showed up. He had NO IDEA I had ordered $300 worth of appetizers. But then I emailed Ashley, and explained all of my frustrations. And her answer was nothing short of King's poor management. "Hello Carol, Thank you for taking the time to reach out about your experience with us. Went the other night to play pool (not bowling) as it's one of only a few family-friendly pool halls. First off, the pricing is not transparent at all- you pay whatever they tell you when you are done. Also, there was a waitress who took our drink order, brought us our drinks and then...was never seen from again. We didn't even get a check. It was impossible to order another drink, so we spent the last 45 minutes or so thirsty. Tables were recently re-felted, and played nice. But it's very dark, and the black tables make hitting shots much harder when you can't see. A clock in the pool room with some prices clearly displayed would have been a better move, it very much gave off the vibe this place is solely for the money (yes, they all are, but some hide it better than others). We will be maybe back, although reluctantly. Hopefully we can find a better kid friendly space where people actually are working there and care their customers need something. We found that the employees were spread thin overseeing all aspects of the complex. Our waitress was the same woman who gave us our shoes and then later assisted when the automated lanes malfunctioned. The food was nothing special and it took forever to get service because of limited staffing. Cool atmosphere but we will not be going back. We held a corporate outing here, great fun. We took two lanes, with shoes, 2-3 drinks per person, and continuous appetizers for two hours. It was about $100 per person. They have bowling, shuffleboard, pool tables, arcade games, and a sports bar area, as well as karaoke. It's a fun place, that adheres to Covid protocols. All of their team members were in masks, the lanes were separated, they had plexiglass in several areas...we all felt safe and had a great time. The food was decent but service was subpar. My date and I stood at the front for service at one point but whoever was there blatantly walked away as we walked up. We stood for a while while a group of other workers just chatted in the corner - they clearly saw us. We had to flag the host down. Such a great experience!! I had to organize an outing for a range of 15-22 people ON A FRIDAY NIGHT for my company team outing. We did the group package with bowling, food (pizza, sliders, veggie platter, 2 YUMMY apps!), and 2 drink coupons per person. Wesley helped me organize the event, food, drinks, etc. and give me an estimated cost for everything with only 8 days notice. Sandra was our waitress for the evening and was absolutely WONDERFUL!
