This is our go to after church spot on Sunday. We love coming here because the food is always fresh and there is always great customer service. I was introduced to this place by a friend several years ago, but have not been back there since because there wasn't one by my house and this one was kind of a drive. This time was passing by and thought I'd try it again....SO glad I did, food was AMAZING! I ordered steak chimichurri sandwich with a cup of enchilada soup for the side with the meal purchase. Besides being a little more costly the some of the other sandwich places in town, it was really good. The sandwich was prepared on their freshly made bread and was covered in chimichurri sauce and greens. It was very tasteful and exactly like the menu described. I will say, that this sandwich was the closest to the picture it represented in the menu. Very much enjoyed the sandwich! Soup was one of the best versions I've ever had. Definitely upgrade to the soup choice. Restaurant was very clean and just looked like the typical subway style building. Didn't really stand out, but my favorite part of the whole experience was the staff! There were only a couple people working that day, but they definitely standout amongst the crowd. Definitely giving the experience a 5 star review! I will definitely be back sooner this time...Thanks for the great food and experience! read more

I routinely visit the Urbane Cafe on Mount Vernon almost every weekend after the gym. So far, every time I come in, I'm always greeted by the friendly staff that even helped recommend some good options on the menu. Fatima is usually the one that takes my order and she's super sweet and nice! Always with a smile on her face. :) Fatima has good recommendations for menu options if you're having trouble thinking of what to eat. My food is often prepared by Katie, she always makes sure the food comes out picture perfect! I even get good cookie recommendations from Guadalupe. I like the cranberry cookies but Guadalupe suggested the Heath cookies to me one time and i couldn't disagree with the recommendation. The dining area is always squeaky clean when I come in. Not only does Fatima take my order, but I often see her cleaning up and restocking items when they're low. I highly recommend this restaurant when you're wanting something fresh, healthy, and different. Try it out, and say hi to the friendly people that work here. read more
