My dog would not allow me to administer them, he ran, became aggressive etc. so I called them back and asked for another solution. They "texted" me back and told me the vet was busy but to come in for another office visit. No call, no offer of help. I called Katy Vet and they got me right in!!! The Dr actually called me beforehand and asked about my concerns. She got my pet in ASAP and offered a solution that was great! They administered an ear pack that lasts a month so I don't have to wrestle my pet and deal with his anxiety of his ears being touched. The dr called back within a few days after treatment to check on him after this. This is a caring and professional vet and clinic and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a personal touch with care and concern for your pet!! Thank you for caring Dr Kari Cleavinger! Lots of yummy cat treats, mice, stuffed toys, a huge cathouse for scratching & playing (kittens LOVE it!), LED lights for playing, spiral toys, balls, cute cat kitchen towels, kitchen sink cat sponges for dishes, even human fragranced hand soaps. There's a kitty Ferris wheel toy they spin to dispense treats/food, (keeps them entertained) and a cute kitten shaped spoon rest as well, and a raffle for even more. Who does that? It's everyone there: long term caring staff who remember you, happy to help & who have ALWAYS ALWAYS comforted me when I've had to say goodbye to elderly pets. Still my cats 17-19.5 yrs old, wouldn't have lived that long without the fabulous relationship with Dr. Cleavinger & her superb vet techs, and their care!!! I left with a $486 bill and ZERO diagnosis. Here is how they misled me: 1. The "Bait and Switch": Dr. Chen Han Lee recommended a $256 "Adult Screen" blood test, claiming it was necessary for the X-ray process. He intentionally withheld the information that the X-ray would require full anesthesia--and that my dog might "die on the table"--until AFTER he had already pushed the expensive bloodwork. 2. Medical Intimidation: Once I was committed to the lab tests, he used extreme fear tactics about anesthesia risks to scare me away from the X-ray I actually needed. He then continued to push more unrelated tests (Heartworm, etc.) while my dog's leg injury went completely unaddressed. 3. Unjustified Fees: On top of everything, they charge a "BioHazard Compliance Fee" ($13.95) which is just a sneaky way to pad the bill.
