I left with a $486 bill and ZERO diagnosis. Here is how they misled me: 1. The "Bait and Switch": Dr. Chen Han Lee recommended a $256 "Adult Screen" blood test, claiming it was necessary for the X-ray process. He intentionally withheld the information that the X-ray would require full anesthesia--and that my dog might "die on the table"--until AFTER he had already pushed the expensive bloodwork. 2. Medical Intimidation: Once I was committed to the lab tests, he used extreme fear tactics about anesthesia risks to scare me away from the X-ray I actually needed. He then continued to push more unrelated tests (Heartworm, etc.) while my dog's leg injury went completely unaddressed. 3. Unjustified Fees: On top of everything, they charge a "BioHazard Compliance Fee" ($13.95) which is just a sneaky way to pad the bill.

His staff is also very nice and appointments always start on time. One of our dogs has a movement disorder as of a few months ago and we were very nervous. I've never had a Vet do this. It's like the old-time vets and doctors that we used to have a long time ago. They went above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend this Vet. I did my research and this is the only Vet that had five star ratings even though they were 45 minutes away from my house I didn't care. Leanne called me back to say Dr. Euers would work him in if I was willing to wait, but if his urethra was blocked, we would need to go to the urgent care vet. We immediately got in the car because I trust Dr. Euers and she treated us so well on prior visits. My kitty was not blocked, able to get stronger pain medicine, and his urine was thoroughly tested. NO ONE offered to help us carry in this large cage and they could see we were elderly (75). Then we sat in the room crying about our feral cat while they were laughing out in the exam area. Very rude and uncaring atmosphere. The vet wanted us to put the injured feral cat back out in the 20 degree weather rather than gently put him to sleep and out of his misery. My friend warned us not to go there because they were rude and uncaring with her cat. We just came from our regular Vet who actually examined the feral cat and said he would not have made it one more night outside because he was extremely malnourished and dehydrated. He had not come for food at our house for 8 days. I am deeply troubled that the ER did not examine this animal before refusing care and offering guidance that directly conflicted with the medical findings of a licensed veterinarian. I am sharing this so others can advocate strongly for animals in distress and consider their options carefully. Please trust your instincts and seek a second opinion if something does not feel right.
