You can tell that Dr. Lee and his staff genuinely care a lot about their patients & their families. I originally intended to take our pups to the vet my parents take their dog to. I realized after I scheduled the appointment that it was a different vet- but it was the best mistake on my behalf! There are numerous vets near us and we've been to several but we make the 30 minute drive to see Dr. Lee. He is patient, compassionate, honest, very knowledgeable, and kind. His staff is also very nice and appointments always start on time. One of our dogs has a movement disorder as of a few months ago and we were very nervous. My boyfriend brought her in and Dr. Lee spent extra time answering all of his questions. They called to check on her as well. Our pup is doing much better now & we are so grateful for Dr. Lee. Highly recommend!! Update: I took my newly adopted rescue there. She's a bit shy in new spaces & they were so great with her. All his vet techs are incredibly nice as well. I took Mollie in for her rabies shot and heartworm test. I left with a huge bill full of tests and things I never asked for or gave consent for. Mollie is normally a very friendly dog and nice with strangers. When she was returned to me, I have never seen her so clingy after any vet visit. She was afraid to be left alone with the staff. If you want a vet that is fair, honest and respectful of your time and wishes- this isn't the vet for you. It took over an hour for what should have been a 30 minute appointment. read more

This clinic has been a blessing to us. Dr Lee is so knowledgeable, thorough, caring, and understanding. My dog just recently started with advanced heart failure; and recently lost his ability to walk after I picked him up from another vets office nearby who performed X-rays leaving him unable to stand or walk. Dr. Lee immediately examined my pup very thoroughly and blew us away with his kindness and professionalism. We started acupuncture and he prescribed more meds for our dog. Dr. Lee was very nice, friendly, and knowledgable. He was thorough in his examination and graciously answered all of my (long list of) questions. He spent the time to ensure my puppy was healthy and had all of the necessary medications she needed. My puppy is a rescue, and he found that she had giardia and an ear infection, both of which are now being treated. My puppy is also usually shy and nervous, but warmed up very quickly to him, even on her first visit to his clinic, and seemed to really like him. First experience at a Vet with my golden retriever puppy was very pleasant. I was probably more nervous than my puppy, however, Dr. Lee was very welcoming and took time to explain to me all of his medications and shots. I even returned the next day without an appointment and he removed a tick for me without charging! Although the vet here is nice and they saw me during an emergency, they get one star due to their horrible vet tech. From the moment I walked in she had a horrible attitude and treated me like a nuisance. My dog was suspected of having a bladder infection. I talked to the vet tech who said they needed a urine sample. She then went to the back to get a plastic container and told me, (I am six months pregnant), that I needed to go outside and collect the urine. Yes I got peed on, and I told her it would happen she said just to hold the container down. I have never been to a vet where I was expected to do the tech's job for her. I would never go here again and would never recommend this location. read more

One of the best vets I have ever been to, only left due to moving out of state. Dr. Lee makes you feel like he really cares about your animals. He is very good at taking his time with you and answering any questions. My cat required hip surgery and he was wonderful thru out the whole thing. DR. LEE IS THE BEST VET I HAVE EVER MET TO DATE. My sweet girl is 13 years old, so believe me.. I have seen a lot of vets for her and hands down Dr. Lee has been the most knowledgeable, kindest & caring vet to date. He saved my dogs life!!!!!!! My dog was wrongly diagnosed to have pyometra, when in fact she actually had a 1-lb tumor in her spleen along with tumors on her ovaries and her mammary gland. My previous vet did NOT tell me the dangers of not getting my dog spayed- but Dr. Lee performed life saving surgery on my girl, resected all of her tumors & gave her a spay as well. Surgery was highly risky because of her age but he was successful and just after one day she's recovering so well. Not only that but Dr. Lee was kind enough to provide a full bag of treats and some soft food that her GI tract can handle post-op & he called twice the next day to check on her after to make sure she's fine and that I don't have any questions. His office staff called too to check in. I CANNOT BE MORE GRATEFUL. Also, everyone in this clinic is so kind. All the staff is amazing & super helpful and they were so happy to answer the million questions I had. I have had several great vets but will be changing over to Dr Lee. I had to bring my boxer in as an emergency and I learned more in the last ten minutes from Dr Lee's explanation than I have from my other good vets. He has even given me advice on a chronic problem I have not been able to get taken care of with my other boxer! Amazing. Our dog became lethargic and wouldn't eat over the Christmas break. Our normal vet was not available on the day after Christmas. However, the Cinco Animal Hospital was available to see us as a walk in on the day after Christmas. Dr. Lee took so much time with us to help us understand the complexities our pet's illness. He showed us the test results and helped explain what we needed to know. He immediately shared the test results and Xrays with us so that we could take them back to our regular vet. I had just moved to Katy from the med center and I noticed one Saturday morning that my sweet dog had an ear infection! Our current vet was about 30 minutes away so I looked for a vet close to our new home. After calling 2 other places who didn't accept walk-ins and the other was too busy, I called Cinco Animal Hospital. The woman I spoke to was very friendly and said if I could bring my dog in soon they could see him. I took my sick pup in and the receptionist immediately greeted me and gave me paperwork to fill out while she weighed my dog. She was so kind and complimented me on how beautiful my dog was. It wasn't long til I was in a room and had my dog on the exam table. There was another woman in the room who took his vitals and asked about my dog's symptoms. She was very gentle and sweet with my dog. It wasn't long til Dr. Lee came in and introduced himself. He was so kind and said that my dog looked great except for the nasty ear infection he had. Not to worry though because they fixed him right up! They even gave him an ear cleaning and showed me how to do it free of charge. I was expecting a huge bill because they gave him 2 shots, antibiotics to take home, a cleaning kit and drops to put in his ears. All that with the examination was a mere $200. Well worth it for the care and attention that gave my sweet baby Max! All of the staff was extremely courteous and just adored my dog. Looks like I have found myself a local vet! Maybe a good vet if you come between the working hours! I had a very sick dog and arrived at the vet at 5:30PM. The vet examined my dog and said he was very sick and he would not charge me for his time and suggested I take him to the 24 hour animal hospital on I-10. My beloved Beau died within the hour. I could never think of using this vet again. Good vets should be more concerned with saving lives rather than concern for their working hours. read more

We came here for an ear infection and he told me things I should consider doing for my dog but never once pushed vaccinations or unneeded procedures. When she didn't like the ear drops he changed her medication with no added cost which was more than I could ask for! The prices are very reasonable also! Will continue to see him as my dogs vet.
