Been going here for years but today the usual lady that is always there happened not to be there today. I expected the girl who replaced to her to be capable but she completely destroyed my brows the day before I leave on vacation. I have naturally bushy and arched brows and asked for a CLEAN up. She ended up destroying my natural look and hacking my eyebrows to an extremely thin look. I instantly burst into tears when I looked in the mirror; not sure if my eyebrows can be salvaged at this point. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I was in Concord for a conference and had the realization that my eyebrows needed work. Anyway, I did a quick search on Yelp and decided to go for it - context: I hadn't gotten my brows threaded before, hadn't even gotten them waxed for about ten years, and was used to shaving them myself. I called ahead and asked if they took walk-ins, and they do! If not for the very big sign in the window, I wouldn't have known I was passing by the place. I walked in and Suneeta was sitting behind the desk and I was in the chair in seconds. She asked how I wanted my brows and, being a dunce, I told her I was a no0b and to just make them somewhere between thick and thin. I also noticed a shadow above my lip that morning, so I asked her to thread there, too. The pain, because I wasn't anticipating it, was a shock, but is bearable for the eyebrows. She chats it up a little bit (she noticed the Berkeley insignia on my jacket, so we talked about that), so I got relaxed enough that the pain was bearable. Then, the upper lip happened and my eyes started leaking and I flinched. "This part will only take thirty seconds, okay?." She was calm, and I appreciated her awareness that I was suddenly experiencing really sharp pain. Thirty seconds later, indeed, it was fine. I got up and she let me inspect up close. I wish I'd taken longer to look because later in the evening, I noticed that there were still stray hairs between my brows. tl;dr Somewhat painful, but overall a very positive experience. If I don't find a decent place near me, I would gladly go back to visit Suneeta. ($15 for brow and upper lip threading) read more

Amazing eyebrow threading and Suneeta works so quickly and the results are so good. My brows have never looked this clean and shaped! She was able to get me in first thing when they opened. She responded so quickly to my yelp message requesting an appointment. It was my first time eyebrow threading..why didn't I do this sooner?! Only reason I took off one star is I'm picky and there was still some hairs that were missed when I got home. This always happens no matter where I go. Suneeta is awesome and this review is long overdue! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded here (always with Suneeta) for about a year and a half and it is always a great experience ! She always gives me exactly what I ask for and the price is great! I have found that Tuesdays and Saturdays are always the busiest, so i try to schedule my walk in around those days. SUNEETA is exceptional!!! If you go here definitely try and get your eyebrows done by her. She has excellent customer service and really listens to her customers needs. For me, I expressed that I wanted to keep my eyebrows thick and she consistently keeps them thick and full. She also consistently keeps them the same shape and always takes her time when she is doing your eyebrows. In the past I have had people rush when close to closing or during busy times; but she always takes the time to do a good job. URS Threading is my go-to! I have gotten my eyebrows threaded at many other places in the past & they never could get them quite the way I wanted them. In fact, the first time I came here, they were pretty messed up from somebody else's work. Suneeta is AMAZING!!! She is so talented & fast. I have extremely problematic eyebrows. (They're a huge pain because of the way that they grow). She easily fixed them & made them look even better than I ever thought that they could...
