Karen verified our insurance and was friendly and so helpful, the doctor had a wonderful bedside manner, and we had our prescription within an hour of leaving. Everything was seamless. They followed up with lab results and went above and beyond for us. Thank you to Karen and all the staff! You saved our vacation :)

The doctor tried to assure me it's TMJ and there is no evidence of ear infection when I repeatedly explained that all markers indicate swimmers ear. They insisted on rinsing out the wax that was blocking the view, even when I questioned that. After the procedure, the doctor agreed it was swimmers ear even though there was "very little redness and swelling". Went home with prescribed ear drops. No instruction on pain medication, but when I asked I was told to take Tylenol. I questioned that versus Ibuprofen and was told to take Tylenol instead. Overnight the condition worsened beyond tolerable so we went to Children's Mercy Blue Valley in the morning. Thank Goodness for that place!! By then there was visible swelling in front of the ear and the canal was so swollen that drops would not go through. CM doctor said that rinsing out was the WRONG thing to do and that we should have been prescribed oral antibiotics in addition to a heavy dose of Ibuprofen to reduce swelling. They placed an ear wick inside the ear to help distribute drops to the middle ear. They put us on oral medicine, stronger ear drops, and a strong anti-inflammatory regimen. The nurse that helped us seemed lost. She did not know how to answer simple questions and I seemed to know more about the condition and care than she did. It might have been the most incompetent nursing care we ever encountered. Our experience at this CareNow location was borderline malpractice and worth of a formal complaint to Kansas State Board of Healing Arts or Kansas Department of Health. If you have an immediate need, please spare yourself the trouble and potential worsening condition, especially with children. Take your kids where the staff is actually knowledgeable!

The staff at the front desk are always friendly and very personable. Amy, Dr. Gatz's nurse is very responsive and so understanding of my crazy work schedule as I travel, and am gone for weeks at a time. I'm very picky when it comes to health care providers, and knowing this, Dr. Gatz has always referred me to a specialist who is exactly what I'm looking for. The new location is beautiful, by the way!

Really unsure what her line of questioning was, as the injury was directly related to and happened DURING a high contact sport. It made me wonder if she was even listening. I won't go into the back and forth details of the exam but if I hadn't pressed for direction on treatment or recovery I would have simply gotten an "I don't know and go see your PCP". If my PCP could have gotten me in for an appointment, I wouldn't have been at the urgent care in the first place. The worst part about the experience was the dismissiveness of the student and the lack of professionalism from the overseeing practitioner. She literally walked out of the exam in a fit. Didn't even end the exam just walked out. I wouldn't recommend this urgent care unless you are in desperate need without any other options. The only positives were the facility was clean and both the front desk and nurse were friendly.

Shortly after arriving I was told i would be seen by the Doctor Travis Williams - he eventually came out took a good look at my hand & explained what procedure he was going to take to get me up and out of there. I was eventually called to the back where my height & weight was taken & then told to wait in the patient room. Not long after Dr.Williams came in and saw me crying due to experiencing a high volume of emotions at once & did an amazing job helping me relax so he could start my numbing and sutures. WHEN I TELL YOU - TRAVIS WILLIAMS NEEDS A PAY RAISE IMMEDIATELY & IM NOT OVER EXAGGERATING OR JOKING. GIVE THE MAN A BONUS OR SOMETHING!!!!! The attention to detail, constantly making sure I was okay, beyond kind & such a sweet soul to even encounter. He did SUCH A GOOD JOB, IM STRUGGLING TO LITERALLY PUT IT INTO WORDS. Dr.Williams is honestly god-sent & when it comes time I will have to go back 11/10/25 to get these stitches out & I plan to call up there to try and schedule an appointment with Dr.Williams because he did just such a good job . I hope everyone who comes here is able to experience this the the way I did !

I have had only exceptional experiences with Dr. Rahto and his team taking great care of my health needs. But yesterday was especially important for me as I came into the office in crisis mode regarding my health issues and how that has/is impacting my job/career, my life, and my future - and they made sure that I was well taken care of and spent the extra time with me in order to do so. They were incredibly professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate - something that's rare to find these days as most other medical experiences make you feel like just a number. They made me feel like family. Hayley took the extra time and attention to detail to help me fill out medical paperwork and I felt truly cared for and supported every step of the way. She was incredibly patient with me as I asked many questions and knowledgeable in guiding me through it - I appreciate that more than you know. Thank you all again for the exceptional care and kindness - you've earned every one of these five stars!

Signed up for a slot to be seen because I was worried that I had a punctured ear drum. 7/17/2022…read more The nurse practitioner called me before I came in at 9:12am. She was very dismissive and even after hearing what happened to me the last time I had a puncture (horrible pain, horrible bilateral infection, had to have a procedure done by an ENT, 3 rounds of antibiotics, pain meds, couldn't hear, and panic attacks), told me she would not prescribe an oral antibiotic because it was too soon for an infection to have developed and "that's not how antibiotics work." She stated that even for a perforation, ear drops are not recommended. When I asked what could be the possible reason that I was in excruciating pain just 4 hrs after the rupture happened last time if infections take 2 days to develop, the response was "It doesn't look like you were seen by anyone in Saint Luke's Health System for that, so I would be unable to comment on what happened before, I can only address what's happening now." She said there would not be anything she could do for me since I did not have an infection yet. The implication was clearly "Don't come in." Not a bit of compassion. I saw a doctor at a different urgent care who told me the nurse practitioner's medical advice was INCORRECT and unprofessional. She was concerned that it was someone in her system and if it had been she would have "called and yelled at them". Her words. My drum was not perforated, yet the doctor prescribed me antibiotic ear drops prophylactically based on my history. I would not trust the bit@h you have working there to treat my DOG. I was treated like a junkie when talking about medication. I was medicated and diagnosed with adhd in the past but a 40 mg vyvanse prescription scarred me for life as a middle school aged kid. They wanted a drug test. At the time, I had been smoking. I admitted that, and they promptly denied me care because they said I'd sell it in college. I have my diagnosis. I gave yall my diagnosis. Is that not the requirement? I even offered to quit, take a drug test after three weeks, and come back. They denied that too. All because Dr Guevara over there is scared of his license being put in jeaprody. You want your patients to tell you guys the truth, yet when they do, it's thrown back in your face. Even Dr Brockmeyer treated me like a 10 year old child. Absolutely rage inducing. Never ever recommending. My whole family is no longer in his patient base.
