The following is what I posted on the waldport community page sadly, so many other people had the same or even worse experiences: So to save $.20 a gallon today I decided to get $10 in gas at the town pumps and then get up to Newport where prices are more reasonable. I clearly requested $10 on my credit card. Handed the attendant my key and my card, rearranged some things in the back of my pick up, asked for my receipt and he told me there wasn't one. I pointed to the pump and said yeah it's right there - I'd like that please. I put it in my wallet, pulled out got, around the block & noticed I had a full tank of gas.... Circled back said - I told you I only wanted $10. He said that he didn't remember me - I must've said fill. Conversation ensued. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I've been hearing around town that the new group that came in has been ripping people off. I know I should've gone to Chevron, but I was trying to save some money and ended up spending more. And now I've had to contact my credit card company as well. So if you're local the Lincoln county heads up. Win some lose some but I certainly wasn't trying to spend $50 there. That said, they also filled a diesel with regular gas that had to have the engine dropped in the parking lot. It's really a shame. This is a small community that takes a lot of pride in itself and the folks running that show I have no backbone.

There aren't any other gas stations south of Waldport until you get to Florence, which is about a 45 min drive. We stopped out of convenience while we were exploring highway 34. The gas station was clean and the windshield washer water was nice and soapy. The gas pumps worked properly. There were 4 pumps available. You can use your Safeway rewards and Chevron rewards here. If you have both, they will compound them for extra savings. Would recommend when in a pinch!

The attendant filled up my tank and I stupidly didn't get a receipt. When I looked on my American Express app, they had charged me $175!!!!! Their gas price was $3.35/gal. I would have had to get 50+ gallons to be charged that much. I called the station and he knew they had made a mistake and said he was working to fix it. I have also contacted Amex. Gas pumps don't automatically shut off several times allowing gas to pour out all over your clothing and the ground. This has happened to me and others. They don't direct traffic they come in at both directions and block each other. Terrible organization.

I read small counties in Oregon can now have self services....under 40,000 and Lincoln Co. is at 46,000 +. I felt insulted and abused by a retail system.---Oregon. This is 24 hours which is a must. In Oregon I have been screwed when I needed gas in Bend and yet all was closed.
