I'm writing this 1 star review in the salon because that's how horrible this place is. It's dirty beyond belief and I feel like I'm going to get sick or an infection. The lady cutting my cuticles made me bleed twice and the water bowl they used to soak my fingers was dirty and clearly already used. Steer clear of this place if you care about your health!!! I enjoy coming here but only if kelly or tina are going to do my nails. Anyone else is not worth paying for.

Honestly, I am just shocked at how much they charge you for your nails yet they can't even do a manicure and pedicure correctly! I went in here and had an apt with Tina she was nice, but seemed so nervous doing my nails kept trying to get me to "dip" my nails. I swear I told this woman like 5 times I didn't want it and even after her taking my acrylic nails off and getting just a French gel on top she was still asking.... I came home and not even a week after my nails starting breaking and chipping. Needless to say I wasn't happy after spending almost $55 dollars! Mind you that was with what they called " 20% " off. I don't think they can do math there either. Moving on..... I went back in to give them another chance making an apt with Tina again who's the owner thinking they couldn't mess up a manicure and pedicure ( no color ) just plain. Well I went in there and actually sat down with Tina and she moved me to another person who spoke not one word of English ( I had an apt with Tina, why are you giving me to someone else?! ) I wasn't happy. But I sucked it up. She took me to the back to start my pedicure. I asked her if she could turn on the bubbles and she never did, lol isn't this supposed to be my relaxing time?!! You don't even know how to turn on the water. She then proceeded to start to scrub my feet ( didn't even roll my jeans up till she had to be told by Tina ) once those were up she kept trying to push them up more I told her she was cutting off my circulation and not to roll them anymore. She didn't get it so I said STOP she said " oh sorry sorry " by this point I was so irritated. She didn't even trim my toenails at all, she did what I would call a half ass pedicure that wasn't worth more then the tip she didn't get!! She kept asking me if I wanted color but because she couldn't understand I finally said. I'm done thank you. Got up and sat down to get my manicure because my nails looked like shit! I think you get the point so I'll end by saying when she was trying to give me a pedicure! She stuck my hands in water and then started to file them off in the water so my dead skin was dripping into the water it was absolutely disgusting, then she filed my nails so far down they were down to the skin. I left there and paid no tip and will never go back again. I now have to go somewhere else because I need my nails and toes actually done right. I would not recommend going here at all I know they're doing a sale right now 20% off of everything but if you're going to give me a sale and charge me $27 for my nails and $17 for this and $36 for that and still say its the sale your on Quaaludes! I have not previously tried this nail salon, but decided to give it a try while I was shopping the Tri-City Plaza in Vernon. The sign out front advertised for a $20 acrylic nail set, but I was charged more than I anticipated, $32 in the end for french tips. I felt that it was over priced, but the price was not my problem. I wanted to get my nails done to treat myself and relax, however the staff made me feel uncomfortable and simply tolerated instead of pampered or at least respected. And even that would be ok, if it weren't for the fact that they did a horrible job. (I should mention I am not new to acrylic nails and I know how they should generally look and feel). The set came out very sloppy and uneven. They also feel very flimsy as if anything I do would make them come off. The woman did not ask what shape I wanted either, so they came out in this odd sharp-edge square shape. I tried to ask the woman to fix one of them at one point during it but the language barrier seemed to only make her mess it up more somehow. It's extremely frustrating to not be able to communicate and express that I am not satisfied. I paid and left, did not tip, and certainly won't be returning. Very disappointed. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! Terrible, terrible service. I have come here a few times--always as a last resort when other places are busy--and regret it afterwards every time. My last visit was the final straw. They rush to get you in and out as soon as possible even though the salon is always EMPTY. I asked to get a mani/pedi, and as I am sitting down for my pedi, I have someone doing my nails simultaneously. This forced me to put my hands in awkward, uncomfortable positions while she painted my fingernails. It is very hard to relax and enjoy yourself when this is happening. These people are SO pushy--constantly asking to wax your eyebrows, your lip, etc. Finally I gave in and said yes to eyebrows. IT WAS AWFUL!!! They looked worse than before!!!! They took a huge chunk out of my eyebrow, missed hairs that should have been removed, and left wax on the corners of my brows. I didn't notice this until afterwards because the woman only quickly showed the final result immediately after the wax--when I tried to grab the mirror to get a better look, she quickly took it away. And I could NOT BELIEVE that she waxed my eyebrows with my massage chair on. It was shaking my head all over the place and when I tried to turn it off, SHE TURNED IT BACK ON. The friend that I went with had the same problems as well. And the jets were broken in her pedicure chair, and the older woman who could not see well, cut her cuticles and made her bleed. There are so many problems with this salon and their service, save yourself a huge hassle, time and money and avoid this place altogether!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have vowed never to go here again. read more

Loved this salon and am so happy I can finally get powder (or dipped) gel in CT! Tina Le and her team are great! I left feeling pampered after a great pedicure and my first Powder gel manicure since I moved here. And literally hundreds of colors in every type of polish! Best manicure in years! read more

This is a terrbile nail salon, and not very clean. I do not like my French manicure done with polish, only airbrush, and they do not have a working airbrush gun. The women are nice but a little older and can't see very well, I like someone who pays attention to every detail when doing my nails. The customer service is not the best either. All in all a bad nail shop. I learned my lesson and will stick with Classy Nails and Hair in Kmart plaza 100% better. read more

I went to this salon as a last resort as my usual salon was out of the way. It smelt awful of acetone and acrylic nails. Overall, it was filthy, including the desk I was sitting at, which was dusty and very dilapidated. My manicurist cut me and then proceeded to use her filthy hand to clot the blood. It was not only disgusting, it was also painful as now all the nail dust from other people were inside the cut. Finally, I was placed at a drying station which was a single tiny fan and a broken light. read more

Lonnie is wonderful -- she's got a very pleasant personality and does a great job. But her staff is not nearly as great -- and when Lonnie is out of the salon, her staff can be a little rude. read more

I got a mani and pedi. HORRIBLE!!! The girl did my pedi in less than 10 minutes andput so many coats on. It was horrible.

I agree with the previous reviews, this place is terrible! My friend and I were looking for a relaxing afternoon of manis and pedis and instead received a terrible pedicure and a mediocre manicure. The moment we walked into the salon it reeked of polish fumes. The salon workers were very pushy in trying to get us to commit to the more expensive manicure. After telling them 3x that we were not interested, they finally began giving us a manicure. The lotion they used for massaging my legs completely irritated my skin and after I told the salon staff about it, they resolved it by putting a steaming hot rag on my already irritated legs. Not a good combo. Overall, I give this salon a 0 rating. Terrible service! read more
