Every time I've come here, the staff has been rude. This is now my 4th time receiving terrible service after being cut by the rough nail technician, and I didn't leave a bad review. This time, I came in for a simple pedicure with a French design, but the technician who started it rushed, and the result looked terrible. When I brought this to the owner's attention, she began speaking to the tech LOUDLY AND ANGRILY. She seemed frustrated with me and was unfriendly while correcting the mistake (after waiting 15 minutes from already being there 1 1/2 hours) To make matters worse, another client came in asking for a polish change, and right after finishing the design on my last toe, the owner just got up without saying anything and went to assist them. I was left sitting there without pedicure slippers and had to ask another technician for help. After all of that, she still had the nerve to charge me an extra five dollars for the design. I would not recommend this place if you care about customer service--the staff seems more focused on rushing to the next customer than providing a good experience. read more

Service is absolute garbage. I asked multiple times for a dip powder mani and got acrylic on my bare nails. They rushed me to pick a color and there was no one else waiting. If you're thinking about coming here because of the sign outside saying "new management". It's a lie. It's the same people same management, they just wanted to make it seem like "oh maybe we should try this place out again" because everyone in Galveston (boi) knows not to go here. Me and my sisters came in to get a simple pedicure with no paint just cutting the cuticle and massage. We each got charger 70 dollars. The message wasn't even a legit massage either. It was more like just rubbing on the scrub and watering it off. This is unacceptable and honestly I never complain about ANY PLACE. But this is literally the worst nail place I've been to yet. This is a great place to get a manicure and pedicure. I'm from Florida and I thought they did a good job in South Florida, but they are much better here. The pedicure massage is outstanding and they always do a great job. I've lived here a few years now and this is my go too place. It's not fancy, but they do a great job with my nails and relaxation. I came here on a whim thinking it wouldn't be too crowded based on location WRONG!! They were very crowded and I ended up leaving and returning an hour before they closed. The staff is very friendly and they provide a complimentary glass of wine as you get a pedicure but if you're not getting a pedicure and ask for a glass, they'll give you one without a problem. I had my legs and bikini wax done here on 8/3/17. I was injured and it is painful. This is not a place I would recommend to get waxed. The lady did not introduce herself, so I can't tell you her name. She barely spoke at all even though I was trying to make friendly chat, but she did speak English just fine. She went about waxing my legs with a speed and fierceness that I've never seen before. I should clarify, I get my full legs, Bikini and sometimes Brazilian, full arm, and full face waxed every 4 to 6 weeks regularly elsewhere; This is a service that I am very familiar with and used to. So when I tell you that this is painful and she did a horrible job, it's an exceptional statement. I am missing much of the skin on my inner thigh's and bikini area. I have included decent pictures above both my legs and I will date them as well. I also have red dots from irritation and the way the skin and hair was ripped off that I usually don't have. I'm wearing shorts to swim in, I can't wear underwear or my bathing suit because of the way it irritates that skin right now. I was sweating in the waxing room because the pain was so extreme and I kept screaming a little bit. All the while, this lady kept telling me how much hair was on my legs and it was too much. Well lady, I know I'm hairy why the hell do you think I get waxed? The point of getting a wax is to get rid of unwanted hair. That's why everybody does it. Thank you for insulting me the entire time you hurt me. There actually was not a large amount of hair and my hair is not course or dark. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and the hair on my legs isn't very dark or course at all. She left me with wax everywhere as well. I had wax all over the sides of my feet and covering my legs, behind my knees, around my ankles, on my shins, and the crease of my bikini line. when she was finished she told me kinda rudely that I was going to need to wash the wax off. I got back to my hotel room, the Wax would not wash off that night. I then covered my legs and bikini area in baby powder, and I was able to wash it off the next morning. The wax that she dripped all over my feet I was able to get off with wash cloth soaked in rubbing alcohol and some elbow grease. I'm giving this place at least one star because you can't give less. I will say that the young man at the reception counter was extremely friendly and polite and helpful. He's the only reason they would get any positive feedback from me. read more

My cousin and I went in for pedicures. We had been there last year on our visit to Galveston, it was wonderful. Do not know what has happened in a year, but upon entering a man working on a ladies nails started yelling angrily at another worker. We were seated in the pedicure chairs, and asked which pedicure we wanted, we said the "deluxe" which is a step above the regular, which was supposed to cost $35.00. A young man started working on my feet, then used the cheese grater to get the dead skin off. He used such force that he cut my heel in two places, which started to bleed. When I wenced in pain, he stopped and went onto the top of my foot, which he proceeded to cut again. He left twice and came back smelling like cigarette smoke, finished the pedicure, did not massage my feet, or legs, then charged me 50.00! When I said we did not request the 50.00 pedicure he argued that we did. My cousin and I both stated no we did not. Not wanting to cause a scene, we paid and left, but I guarantee, we will never be back to these thieves. My heel and foot are so painful that it is hard to walk on. I would give -0 stars if that was an option. Horrible, horrible experience! read more

Upon arrival I was told there was a minimal wait time for eyebrow service. All workers (as expected ) were busy. 30 minutes have past and I noticed Tina ( eyebrow lady) completed a client & had another sit in her chair from the pedicure bowl. Although I was already impatient due to the high wait time, I remained seated in hopes that she would pause and take care of my 5 minute service in between clients right? . WRONG. She proceeds to begin servicing a NEW client. I grew angry and asked a new wait time again, for my FIVE MINUTE SERVICE. She asked me to come to her chair , like she would be 5 more minutes. ( w/a rude attitude) .Again , WRONG , while sitting in her brow chair for a total of 50 mins of being there in total , she began doing acrylic on the new persons nails. The service here is HORRIBLE and unacceptable . I have also came before and TINA would not wash her hands between services having to correct her numerous times for her unsanitary actions prior to my service. No way should a 5 minute eyebrow service turn into an entire hour. Lies were continually told in hopes that my service would be next and quickly completed. 2 ppl were completed and i was continuously overlooked and lied to about being the next client. Tina and staff should be ashamed of their extremely UN PROFESSIONAL and UN SANITARY establishment. They will no longer be getting any of my money & you should not go here if you want a nice ,clean, customer friendly enviornment. read more

Needed to relax and a pedicure. Got the opposite of that! My chair broke not even 2 minutes after sitting down, the balls in the chair got stuck so far out it was hurting me. It wouldn't let me turn the chair off either. Told the lady about it and she brings me a pillow to put over it. I was again looking forward to relaxing! Spent over $45 on a manicure, and I tried to tell the girl I wanted ombre nails so many times, yet she wouldn't listen to me, when she finally did, she did a terrible job, it ended up looking as half & half instead of ombre. Waste of money and time! Ok so one lady knew absolutely no English and it was very hard to explain what I wanted even tho it was super basic. White tip nail. $30, (plus $5 for size which they messed up twice). obviously acrylic. She did the little file thing first then another woman came and took her spot. Doing my nails in a complete rush. It hurt my nails and she made my pinky bleed a bit, no biggie.. then she asked for size. I told her and she cut it down wayyyyy shorter than what I asked, then she proceeded to move to my other nail and cut super short too! Then I told her hey mam I said long, she looked at me and looked at the other woman next to her laughed and said something in her language. Then super fast like she had somewhere to be she took my pinky and ring finger nail off which hurt so bad and they didn't even give a f about how it hurt even though I was making facial expressions (at this point I wanted to walk out) then they re glued em and cut them the correct size I asked for. Everything goes well and then she's filing down my nails after the acrylic and her nail begins to bleed, tell me why her blood got on my middle finger like three times I was like wtf that's gross! Kept it to myself I'm not the one to make a scene but that was beyond disgusting. They also need to clean their utensils after cleaning and just everything in their station. Everything is dirty. They even had brushes in purple liquid that looked like it hadn't been changed in weeks just standing there and then they used it on the costumers, me and another woman. Very un sanitary. But at the end they did my nails and they looked good. But still was a very hard experience at first... will I be back... who knows.. read more

So us nails, I came there last week for a full set. I was happy with my yellow acrylic nails until the next day when 1 came off, after that I noticed that all 9 was lifting by the 4th day I had 4 fall off, so I took all 5 of the rest off. Today I told them about what happened nothing was done, so I just decided to get them redone by a different nail tech in the same shop. Lost story short he cut me with the nail bid. Didn't apologize, didn't let me know I didn't notice until it started to burn and I saw alittle blood on my finger; he didn't offer to do anything to fix it I had to ask for a discount!
