If I could have given a zero I would have. I had two back to back days of aweful experiences here. I will start by saying no wonder the US Post Office will likely declare bankruptcy. Yesterday, I was in front of the post office at 7:25 am waiting for them to open at 7:30 am...there posted time for opening. I, along with eight other people, waited. 7:30 came and went and we were still waiting. When the PO worker finally came out to open the doors at 7:38 am there was no "I'm sorry for the delay." Just an overall digruntled worker. It seems trival...8 minutes. But that's no way to run a business. Today I was waiting in line (not a problem, I am patient). When I get to the window I ask for postage to mail a letter to Canada...something I don't do often. The total was $1.20. I took out a $20 to pay and the clerk said "I don't have change for that". I said, "I don't have anything smaller" She replied, "Pay with a card". I did but just really bluntly didn't believe that she couldn't request change so I asked, "What if I didn't have a card" Her replied was "I'd take off the stamp". REALLY! That's customer service?!?!?! You'd take off the stamp! For the remaining bills I pay, I will start to do so online just to not pay into the Post Office. I think the USPS if forgetting that they are still a business and a service business at that. Anywhere else would lose customers if they acted this way. No wonder people will constantly seek alternatives to having to use the Post Office. read more

This is quite possibly the worst US Post Office I've been to. The front desk woman was not helpful at all. On one occasion she was unable to provide contact information for a nearby Post Office within 3 miles away. On another occasion, the adhesive on my envelope wasn't working so I asked for some tape. When I asked for tape, she said they didn't have any to spare. Front desk lady: I don't know who hurt you, but stop taking it out on your customers. read more

So grateful for Yelp because I can express the disgusting injustice done to me this morning. I was shipping internationally (which I've never done before), so I got to the Post Office at around 7:35 AM, hoping to avoid a long line. There were two reps at the counter and one was busy with another customer. The 2nd rep was finished with her customer, but decided to talk to that stranger for a full 5 minutes about the Pacific Northwest Trail. Okay. Meanwhile, people began filing in after me, and a line was forming. They finally finished their chat and I was called up. I handed my package to the lady, explained I wanted it shipped to Taiwan, and that I was a little unfamiliar with the process, but I assumed I'd have to fill out an international shipping form. She looked at me blankly and said nothing. Then a man who had been standing in the corner came up and asserted that he had been in line before me. This could have been true (he had been off to the side) so I was like, no problem, go ahead. I waited another 5 minutes, during which time the 1st rep had an opening, so I went to her desk. She looked at my package and was like "Where's the zip code"? And then immediately called the next customer up without giving me a chance to speak. Um, the zip code was on the package. Ignorant. When the next customer was finished, I got her attention and pointed out the zip code. She looked at it for a minute, all confused, and was like 'Oh, is this going internationally? You need to fill out an international shipping form". Yeah...that's what I asked for 10 goddamn minutes ago. She told me to go fill out the form at an unused desk. I filled it out, feeling pretty irritated, and came back. I waited for the person to finish at the counter. By now, there's a 15 person line. I know because I had plenty of time to count. There are 4 postal workers in the office and only two of them working. The person at the desk finishes, and I start to approach but this bitch calls the person behind me up!!!!!!! It was so rude and awful that people in the LINE spoke up and said "You need to help her". The rep didn't apologize, was horribly rude and short with me throughout the remainder of the process, and tried to tell me I had filled out the wrong form. I told her she had just given it to me. She also forgot to charge me for the tape I was purchasing, despite already asking if I was buying it. So it's not like she didn't see it. Finally, she just holds out her hand without saying anything. I had no clue what she wanted, so I asked 'Do you need something'? And she just says 'card' (I'd already paid). I handed her my card and she squinted at it and handed it back to me and neither of us said another word to one another. There's no need for service like this. I'm going to avoid this place in the future. read more

I am visiting Boston and needed to ship a small box to my mom that was sent to me by mistake. Sounds like a job for the post office, right? Wrong! The box had a large label on it that had my address. I incorrectly assumed the post office could assist in covering the label with a new address. I waited in line (first mistake), then explained I needed the box sent to a new address. The employee said I would need to remove the label or cover it up before she could help me. I asked if they had any labels or markers I could use to cover the label. The employee said "No we just have these pens." LOL. Joke is on me I guess. What is the post office for? Maybe I have the wrong idea in my head. Don't go here unless your package is ready to go and you don't need any sort of assistance whatsoever. At my job, I at least try to help people first before telling them I can't do something. A post office with no labels and no markers? Yeah right. Just another lazy employee who can't be bothered. read more

Karen is literally the BEST. My package was lost and USPS 1-800 number was so unhelpful. Karen called me several times throughout the day to update me and ended up finding my package! She readdressed the package and sent it out for redelivery. USPS needs more people like her! Thanks Karen! read more

This is my go to mailing destination. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with any mailing issues or problems. The manager Karen was very helpful with some package theft issues I had. Junior is great to talk to. Yes, I spend a lot of time mailing things so a great post office is HUGE for me. These guys really do go out of their way for their customers. read more
