I received no mail last week because the carrier tossed my mail into a larger box whose owner's last name is the same as mine. True, most mail is junk, but I want my mail in MY box. I went to buy stamps in the machine. They never printed, two other customers tried to help me find them. After that I had to stand in line for 30 minutes, then the clerk implied that I was too dumb to find the stamps in the machine and that someone had probably already took them. The clerk in charge went out to the lobby, messed with the machine ( I think she replaced the paper roll) and then she gave me the stamps the machine was unable to print. No "I am sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. I know you are busy but there is NO excuse for being rude and in considerate. read more

The worst customer service ever! USPS attendant named Jeff refused to take my Christmas Cards, tossed me the stamps and he rudely asked me to move away to help someone else. I placed the stamps on the cards quickly and handed them over to Jeff. Again he refused to take the cards from me and asked me to set them aside on the counter while he helped someone else. I needed to make sure these cards were checked for accuracy but Jeff refused to help me. As I was leaving I realized that one stamp was still in my pocket and so I went back to the postal office. I stood in line and told Jeff he had overlooked one of my letters, he walked to the bin and retrieved the card from the bin and placed the stamp on the card. I asked him that if he knew that a stamp was missing why wouldn't he tell me. He said to me (out loud and in front of everybody) that other clients were more important than me, that he did not have time to help me, and that if I didn't leave the premises he was going to call the police. I said, you're very rude, all I'm asking from you is that you treat me with some level of respect. I asked to speak to the manager. HE said: no! the manager is not here. I was shocked at his rudeness. He left me waiting and walked away. I left the post office very disappointed for the worst service ever received just two days before Christmas. read more

Experienced terrible customer service via telephone - they would not ever answer. I dialed both their local number and their 800 number. I called, and called, and called, and called, and .... I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited on the phone line...one time for an hour the entire time listening to a recorded voice telling me how much my call was appreciated and subsequently everything they could do for me with all the glorious services that they provide. Unfortunately I had to contact this location because of a package that I shipped "priority" that had not arrived. You would think that if you take the time to stop by stand in line pay $20.00+ to ship they would know where my package was and where it was going and if I could have it held at the post office. Better yet GET GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE... WRONG. Most of the people you will take to are argumentative, rude, and unhelpful down to the post master. The post master has no patience, will yell at you, cut you off at every chance he gets and apparently he has no obligation to give you information on the package you send. Kyle the regional or area manager hopefully will look into this issue and improve on this locations customer service skills because they really need it! A few tips DON'T SEND THROUGH THE POSTAL SERVICE!! It's a RIP OFF! They take you money and package and that's the end of their job, no logistics involved they throw it on a truck and you better pray it gets there. Seriously the worst ever, and they will probably never go out a business being government funded. read more

Skipped over my house rather than asking for my signature, requesting instead that I pick up my package at their office... after I had already taken the day off from work to be available for delivery. Part of a very frustrating chain of events (though not entirely this offices fault) where my "2 day delivery" parcel had accidentally been sent to Anchorage rather than Seattle for a round trip of 10 days to my house. read more

My wife and I patronized this location to mail a defective phone back to Verizon today. The package was prepaid and Verizon recommended getting a delivery acceptance receipt that would prove that the package had been accepted by USPS and is in their care. After grunting for us to move forward, the man at the counter refused to scan the package or create the same acceptance receipt that we've received at multiple other USPS locations. Instead, he insisted that we drop it in the slot and that the other locations "just don't know", whatever that means. We're home now, have entered the tracking number into the website and received a "not found" status. I hope our package is not lost or stolen before it gets scanned as accepted, because Verizon has told us that without a receipt for acceptance, we will be responsible for the full price of the phone. Very poor customer service. read more

I have always had friendly service here but they need to put the "No Parking" signs or pavement marking on the side by the health clinic again. When people park there, especially large trucks, it is very difficult to get through. read more

I have been going to this post office for the last two years at least once a week or no weekly to send packages out for my business. So it's safe to say I'm a regular customer. I love the ladies working there because they are always friendly, helpful, quick and professional. However a few days ago I went and was there at about 15 min before closing. I had three packages that needed to go out that day. Since there was quite a long line, I thought to save them time I do the two packages that were for my US customers on their kiosk machine outside and do the last one inside. So I did the two packages and then was gonna do the international package (which can't be done on the kiosk) inside. However there was this young guy standing by the door saying in the most rude way possible "We are closed. What you got? International package? No, you can't come in. that takes too long. The people working here need to get the mail out at a specific time. They have a strict schedule". And while he said that he tapped on his watch to prove his point. I said "it's already all filled out, it won't take long". He said: "No it takes a very long time to do these." Which is total nonsense. I know this because I have sent over 20 international packages and I know how fast the ladies are. He could have asked one of them if it's ok for him to let me thru considering that they had a couple people on the counter and the door was still wide open. I had never seen this guy there and he wasn't wearing any uniform or name tag. He looked like some random guy acting all high and mighty in a wannabe bouncer type of Way. After this I watched him treat at least four more customers in the same unprofessional, rude way. And everybody just said seriously? If it was me, this guy would be the first I'd fire because he is the worst representation of what I know the USPS stands for. He doesn't paint a picture of a friendly customer service and surely isn't very inviting. Bad choice of employee. read more

I was in line with 4 customers in front of me and he was a total jurk to all of them. .bothell post office you need to train your staff on how to treat your costomers.
