I arrived at 7:30 AM to closed doors, which was bad enough, but by 8:00 AM, they still hadn't opened. Their excuse? 'Understaffing.' Yet, there was absolutely zero notification of this on their official website. This is a staggering level of incompetence. It's not even a question of good or bad customer service--there was literally no one there to provide it. Nearly 20 people were trapped waiting inside, all of them in a massive rush because they needed to mail their items before clocking into work. This chaotic mess is a direct result of USPS's systemic mismanagement. It is acceptable to face staffing shortages, but it is completely unacceptable to fail to update your official hours online. You mislead the public into believing you open at 6:00 AM, post a note on the wall saying 8:00 AM, and then fail to honor even that time due to a 'lack of personnel.' This is utterly ridiculous and disrespectful of people's time. Zero stars."

They have plenty of material and supplies for shipping needs. The line wasn't long. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. I needed to ship in one of those "if it fits it ships" boxes, so I brought my items with me. They even taped it up for me for free (I've had other POs make me buy tape!), waited while I packed it up, wrote the addresses and then they set it up for shipping. It was a great exchange and I'll definitely go back as this is just a 10 minute walk from my house.

Other people must have complained because there is now a mobile van post office on Federal St. right in front of Bank of America. The mobile van rocks- it acts just as a real post office. You can buy stamps, send packages, get money orders etc. There is also the cutest little lady who works the van! I made a payment. I received acknowledgement from the USPS of the payment. The money was taken from my account. Tonight I received an email from the USPS I canceled my autopay and use of the P.O. Box effective tomirroe even though I'm paid up for the next three months. The screen for setting up payment took fifteen minutes to load at 230 Mbps. I'll consider myself screwed out of three months payment by the USPS. I'll go looking for a private mail box service tomorrow where they have less rude people and actual customer service.
