It's got like an old 1950/60's décor feel. It's a beautiful large structure that basically takes up most of the corner block. It kind of reminds me of a New York style police station, which might be a bad or good comparison however you may look at it. There are quite a few steps to get inside and I don't remember a wheel chair ramp being available. Don't quote me on this because it's a post office so there is probably handicapped accessibility on the other side of the building. A wonderfully built building. The people inside are just a nice. Probably the nicest I've seen in a post office but I don't hate on post offices. They provide such a service especially since so many people don't really use paper mail anymore if they don't have to due to technology. Oh! There is parking galore as well.

His car was paid off so they ended up totaling it and he's now navigating the process of paperwork. He was unsure how to fill out his paperwork, and I guess brought the papers into the notary blank. She very kindly helped him through the process of filling out the paperwork, getting it notarized and getting it mailed off. I appreciate her kindness immensely and wanted to make sure it was acknowledged. My dads words: "Everything went well... The person was very nice and experienced... Explained everything and helped me fill out papers... The lady helping me was the Notary and knew all about what I had to do... She even knew how the mailing label was supposed to work... I was happy with the service..." So if anyone is looking for a notary on island this sounds like the lady you want to have helping you!

Honestly, since there are a lot of older folks that live in this town, I assume they don't want to drive their Lincolns to the next town to get their mail. It's not really that far from the next town but this office is still a gem and is very useful to the town's residents. It was actually pretty busy when I went. It was near Thanksgiving so that might explain it, or maybe since it was snow and ice people didn't have anything else better to do than go to the post office. This office is really small and everyone seems to know each other so it has that small town friendliness that you would assume would be present.

There really isn't a parking lot, so you kind if have to get in a get out. But it's a cute office with just enough space for the community of Greenbank. After having such wretched experiences in Lynnwood and Belltown, we were apprehensive about a new post office and how their quirks would affect our mail delivery. However, we have been quite pleased with this local post office. They have been communicative regarding parcel delivery and pick up, and they are super helpful if you need to go inside. I will note, though, that the inside of the building is quite small. The counter can only accommodate one customer at a time, and they do not have the standard selection of mailers and cards that can be found at other post office locations. Keeping those realities in mind, I would not trade this location! They have wonderful employees and really focus on customer service.

I have no gripe with the folks at the counter, they do their best working for a completely broken system. Lost packages, told mail was not being held when in fact it was/ for months! I will go out of my way NOT to use them for paying bills because they cannot deliver by due dates. Just another example of a government run organization. Very sad for the taxpayer and the USPS employees.

In multiple instances both my wife and I have experienced this large man humiliate us for asking for help. When I politely told him we felt humiliated, his response was "good." Unbelievable. The other employees are reasonable and kind, though even they have given me the wrong package a couple times. In short, use this store carefully if you must, but avoid it if you can.
