I stopped in here after work on a Monday recently to get a FBI criminal background check via fingerprints to be used for a travel visa application. The staff that helped me was very nice and friendly. He was also very patient as the fingerprint reading machine was very finnicky. The cost for the service was $50. This post office is the worst. They are always losing packages. I've dropped off packages in the back loading dock before and 2 ended up being stolen. I asked for camera footage and they said they can't show me that and had to get back to me... of course nobody got back to me I ordered items and the tracking says it's at the post office for a week. I show up, wait in line, spoke to the manager 4 times on separate occasions and each time she takes my number down, but never calls back or finds it. Once she forgot she was helping me so I stood there an extra 30 minutes Signs posted on both of the drop off bins that you need to go to the back of the building to drop off packages if you have more then a few... I don't think that's legal to say that so recently they took those down When I go to the front to drop off Priority boxes they ALWAYS give me attitude and tell me to go to the back. In the back it is not secure so that's why I don't do that Always a long like and only 1 or 2 workers working. This post office is always busy as well. Not sure what all the negative reviews are for? Customer service was great for me!! Lieu was the best! PM Peter Lee is attentive also. They do the best they can for their customers. They have zero control with stamp prices. Blame the Postal Commission. As for long lines, one PO for the entire city, how is that their fault? Chino has also grown tremendously! So keep that in mind. This review is specifically to say how great Amy is! I just moved to the area and one of my packages was missing. I contacted USPS through their website and Amy called me by the end of day to let me know she was looking for it. She actually sent someone out to look at the mailboxes. Eventually she found out what happened and kept my package safely at her desk so I could pick it up. I've had a USPS package go missing before in another city and they basically told me they couldn't do anything about it, so I was extremely impressed with Amy and how she went above and beyond to help me. This post office gives you so much trouble it's ridiculous talking bout they can't scan more than 10 packages. I've been here before a couple times and they done it and now they act like they can't scan my packages. It's literally their job to scan packages in and I find it to be terrible customer service to not serve the customer. And Amy the supervisor is sooo rude and does not want to help you at all. This is a very busy post office. I was there to mail out some insurance documents and line was pretty long around the singing counter for customers. The table was fully occupied and waiting was on one side of counter, thus a point was taken off since the distancing was an issue. Even though there is a lot people unlike other post office they open up drop off only counter and send staff out to help people waiting. Most of loyal office clerk will slowly process but this one. They are efficiently processing the mail and package senders. I would definitely mail my stuff here instead of other USPS. read more

This review is solely based on our experience with the passport processing office at the USPS location in Chino Hills. We made an appointment for my husband to apply for his US passport and was referred to the Chino Hills location which is not typically where we go. We arrived for our appointment and was directed to the office in the back. We were so glad because the regular lineup was VERY long. The gentleman who helped us in the back was so nice!! We wish we got his name but he's the one with tattoos. He processed my husband's passport application, took payment, and explained the turnaround time and other details, all within 10 minutes. By the end of it, we were in awe of how simple and painless the process was. Overall, a very good experience with USPS, which I'll be honest, is not always the case. This is the most incompetent Post Office branch in the country. They regularly give me my neighbors' mail. They regularly deliver my mail to my neighbors. They regularly put other's mail in my PO Box. I can only assume others receive mail that is meant for my PO Box. One time they mis-delivered a package to a house 3 streets away, were unable to recover my package, and were completely useless when I tried to get them to help me file a claim with the sender. On September 25th, I sent a medium envelope to Woodland Hills. The tracking number didn't show up in the system until 3 days later - in PHILADELPHIA! How is that even possible??? 10/23/24 Updated: After 3 complaints filed to National USPS hotline, survey and several social media platform reviews. Chino Hills Post Office called back, first was their supervisor from customer service department, I told this supervisor, his phone call wont do the trick, because he can't solve "Post Master" issue, because that is his own boss, and told this supervisor a really quick and brief story and let him know, I won't let this subject goes and will go to all social media platforms, news outlets to get this post master to apologize, then we ended the phone conversation. About 30 minutes later, Peter Lee (or Li), Chino Hills Post Master called back personally. He apologized and said he has a family death issue last week and he brought on his own personal issue to customers, which he is at fault and sincerely apologize to me. I told him, I will accept his apology and thank him for the courage to admit his own fault, however, we are all working professionals, and should have professionalism for work environment, everyone has their own personal issue, should not bring to work and certainly should not be shouting at customers to get your own anger out. Anyways, this case is an end for me. I called today regarding a package I physically gave to a postman on 10/15/2024 day after Columbus day. My regular post lady, whom is very sweet, she was off that day, and my regular substitute post man was also off. Therefore, Chino Hills Post Office sent someone who is not familiar with my route in place for them, and this postman came very late in the afternoon, like 4:30pm to 4:50 PM. I physically gave him 9 packages that day, and of course, one package he failed to scan, and this package is a yellow/manilla padded envelope with shipping location to Burbank, CA. A week later, which bring us to today, package still showing none scan on USPS.com. I have no way to file a search request, because the package status. So I called in, Peter answered the phone. I gave him the a brief description of what happen and what I am looking for. He kept saying "no Mann", "no, can't do" without letting me finished the sentence. Finally, after 5 minutes of "No mann", he asked for tracking number, then, puts me on hold. After he came back, he proceeded to tell me, there is no such package in their office, if substitute picked up in the van and failed to scan, your regular post lady will see it, because they uses the same truck. I told Peter, no, the day that this new substitute postman came, truck was different. Peter said, then you should drop it off to the office, not giving it to postman for pick up???? I responded, Chino Hills' post office counter always refuses to scan packages that stamps are not purchase directly from USPS, clears on the counter often told me to drop my packages with stamps purchased through partner of theirs to the metal box on the wall. (I purchased through pirate ship or ship station), Peter then started saying I am telling a lie, they always scan and I am accusing them for NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. I told him, I am merely telling the true, he interrupted me with his voice on the other side of the phone raising loudly. I asked what his name is, he gave me "Peter" and said I am very rude and he is done with me. I told him, I will report him if he keeps on raising his voice, that is no way of customer service. Peter said "yeah, go ahead and report me" then, he hung up the phone. This is how Chino Hills Post office handles their customers!!!! read more

This local post office in Chino Hills definitely needs to improve its service. We sent letters via Priority Mail or Certified Mail but this post office often neglected to scan the letters. As a result, we were unable to track our mails online, which rendered the USPS online tracking system useless. Strictly speaking, such neglect constitutes a neglect of postal duty as well as a breach of customer's trust. For this reason, this post office deserves the lowest rating. read more

omg, what did I just witnessed? I went into get some stamps and the environment was so hostile! 2 male USPS employees were scolding at 2 minor Asian boys who were trying to buy labels from the kiosk machine. From what I heard, the 2 employees were threatening the Asian minor looking boys that they will visit their boss for having them sending packages from CH location when the business is in Torrence. I don't get this. Maybe, the owner or the employees live in CH and they wanted to send out the packages from home city where it's close by? Whatever, evenso, the way USPS male employees handled this situation in front of everyone, scolding, threatening the minor looking boys were just horrible! The boys didn't even seemed like they spoke any English. Maybe, they don't even know what they are doing wrong. They looked so confused. Not sure why the USPS employees were so upset to the point, they didn't even care that they were other customers in the store. They keep repeating that they will call the police and that they will visit their boss (really?) and pointing their finger at their faces. omg. do better! Just because people don't speak English doesn't mean, they don't have feelings, dignity or emotional intellegence. I usually don't write reviews for places like the Post Office, but I just couldn't keep my opinion to myself this time. My wife and I are getting our passports renewed and this location was again the most helpful Post Office I've ever been to. Marcus guided us through the paperwork we needed to fill out, and then Deanna assisted us with making sure we liked our passport photos before they were sent out. Deanna and Leui then helped us finalize the mailing out of all the documents necessary to get our passports. Since we don't use the Post Office that often due to technology, we often feel lost trying to figure out how to fill out and mail things correctly. This Post Office and their staff are kind and helpful. I highly recommend them if you want to have excellent customer service! read more

Highly recommend this USPS if you only need to drop off packages! I stopped by this location to drop off some packages so there was absolutely no wait. I have to note that this location did have a line of people waiting even before opening. This USPS seems to be a busier, probably due to it being right next to The Shoppes. I like this location better than the Diamond Bar USPS because it's more well kept and it's easier to get in and out of this parking lot. Definitely will be back at this location again for more package deliveries! read more

Good full service post office including PO boxes. Has both drop off inside and a drive thru mailbox. If you need faster service drop off inside. Has both live service and machines for postage and mailing packages. Entry and egress is much better than the post office in Chino. Warning: They lose a star because the parking lot is a mess when school lets out next door - avoid during weekdays between 2pm and 4pm. read more
