Not the fastest, but good service when I can finally get up to the service counter. On this particular visit, service was good as I just purchased a book of stamps and got an important letter that I mailed out for a rebate. It was lunch time so it took a while as their was only 1 employee helping at the service counter. Don't they realize not good to take their lunches during lunch hours when most people come in at this busy time? Also a manager or another employee a male would ask if anyone needs help, but did doesn't service the counter? I know this is an issue from a while back, but I wouldn't ever do express passport service here as I paid more money to get my passport quicker and it never came! I had to go all the way out to the Federal building in LA to get it and that was a fiasco as well. Do you think this post office would refund me any money for the express not happening as well as the mail service not delivering it? Heck no! I almost missed my planned trip back then. I try to stay away from here let alone any post office if at all possible. I don't like writing stuff like this, but facts. Sad.

I've had an over all bad experience since I moved into my new apartment. For some reason this post…read moreoffice seems to always have issues with delivering my mail or packages to the incorrect address. I have had 3 incidents within the last 3 months were they loose my package, send it back to the sender or deliver it to another apartment. I've open up case numbers and the follow up is poor. Just recently I open up a case because my package stated delivered. I did not get it delivered to my front door as it stated. It was not stolen because my security cameras did not show any packages being delivered. Someone attempted to call me on Sunday from post office I wasn't able to answer right away but called within SECONDS and nobody answered. When I looked up my case number it was considered resolved. Today I call back no answer luckily, the package was delivered to someone who is honest and return the package that was mistakenly delivered to their address. If that person wouldn't have return the package idk how the post office would have followed up given that the customer service is poor. Additionally I was expecting another package and when that package was delivered to my front door I notice that the mail carrier walked up to my door knocked and walked away within two seconds of knocking not even allowing me time to open the door. He was already walking away. I called him back and he was like oh I need a signature. How does he expect someone to be able to answer the door within two seconds? Doesn't make sense. I have camera footage of that interaction and I counted the two seconds he allowed before he walked away. Ridicules! I'm scared to order stuff in fears that they will not deliver it or continue to deliver my package to the incorrect locations. Something needs to change.

Our postal carrier has been NO SHOW for three days straight, resulting in many prepaid packages that needed to be shipped ASAP. We waited on the third day to see if the carrier would actually come. Surprise surprise, they did not. So we pulled into this location at 4:45PM with a dolly full of prepaid boxes. The rude lady behind the counter promptly refused to accept them, saying that our zip code is 91767, which is technically Pomona. Therefore, we could only take our boxes to a Pomona USPS office. What a crock!!!!! UPS, FedEx, DHL, nobody has such a ridiculous problem. The employees are just too lazy to scan the boxes, and therefore refused to accept them even though they were pre-labeled. Don't come to this location. I'm seriously tempted to send in a complaint. You will be treated rudely and refused service.

Therefore, I appreciate the simple but attractive architecture of the Claremont Post office. They have historic photos posted inside which are fun. It's neat to learn about the history of the places we kind of take for granted. Still my favorite post office to go to for postal services. Always excellent service even when it's super crowded.

I had an issue with receiving mail and the person in front made sure I was able to talk to the supervisor and she was really helpful. One week later my issue was resolved. Small but ample parking. Today I needed to pay for a medium sized priority mail box to send clothes to the east coast that my daughter forgot at home when she came to visit for spring break. I figured $22.95 was worth it when it was heavy items like jeans, shorts, skirt, etc; plus it comes with a tracking number; plus it'll get there by this Thursday. In any case, while I was prepping the box and labeling it, I observed Xuan and the male staff working beside her patiently answer questions for several customers ahead of me in line. I would like to thank them both for being kind to the people, and to thank Xuan for helping me so efficiently. You might say they were just doing their jobs, but I say kindness while doing one's job is not necessarily a given these days. So thank you!

A little back story I don't live in this city AT ALL and decided to make the drive in hopes I would get even the slightest degree of better service compared to the upland post. And that's saying ALOT because they are HORRIBLE. Like those people could hardly care less about your experience or existence, including its manger. So I took the drive and let me just say... I'll come back here EVERY TIME. There were only two people working the entire front they got through the line with haste and they were super friendly from what I observed. It was my turn and Anthony helped me. HE WAS SOOOOO SWEET, helpful, accommodating and didn't make me feel like I was bothering him with questions or lack of knowledge. He even mentioned how he was working overtime that day and he still has the biggest smile on his face and great customer service. This is what your neighborhood shops should be like!
