Chino USPS has lost numerous pieces of mail and packages of mine and when filing claims they state there's nothing they can do. I'm pretty certain employees are stealing mail and packages. There needs to be an internal investigation, I know I'm not the only one experiencing this. read more

Checked online for passport acceptance center and it showed this location. I tried making an appointment but they were 2 weeks out and it said that they took walk ins. I drove all the way over here, waited in line until she announced that unless you have appointment, no passports were done. I asked if that was the case even with the rush my passport service that I just need to drop off and she said yes. This is a joke, they are terrible at customer service, why not post it that you do not take walk ins? Why waste your time. Stay away from this post office. read more

Civil servants work to benefit the general public every day. Professionals in civil service positions protect, educate, provide for and assist their fellow citizens. The people that work at this post office should read this every day they show up to work because they act like they are doing us a favor to open the doors not providing us a service we pay for with the taxes and the shipping charges. In my opinion this is one of the worst post office locations within the Chino, Ontario, Montclair area. I would rather drive farther to the Pomona office than deal with the rudeness. read more

Avoid this location if you're applying for a passport without an appointment. I went to this office after checking their website, which indicated they accepted walk-ins. However, when I arrived, the woman with grey hair rudely told me it was her break time and that they only serve appointment customers. She didn't greet me, offer an explanation, or apologize--she just walked away. It's incredibly frustrating to have a website provide misleading information, only to encounter poor customer service when you arrive. I'm rating this post office 1 star because I ordered a mailbox key 3 weeks ago, they took my payment, address and phone contact. The employee told me they would contact me once my key was ready but they never did. I decided to drive over to see if it was ready and sure enough it was! I just wish they would have called me like he said they would. Also, the lines always seem to be very long here, not sure if anything can be done about that. I do find that the staff have been friendly each time I've come in, but keeping your word as a business goes a long way. read more

Our neighborhood Cluster Mailbox (ugh I don't even live in an apartment but forced to use it) was vandalized. One person at this PO told me it's another department within Postal Office that'll eventually fix it. I called again and they told me the PO was not responsible. Why do we even pay these people through taxes? I hope governent subcontract PO through private corporations. The lobby people are friendly and caring enough, and the mail carriers are good. But they care very little when something serious needs work. Well, at least some of their mail carriers decided not to just hold the packages without me asking. I got some of the packages delivered so OK but very inconsistent. Thanks, I guess. UPDATE: When I said vandalized, I meant someone or some evil cryptid thing barely bent the matal door of the outgoing part of the giant cluster box (awful idea of an installation). That's it. The inboxes are FULLY INTACT AND FUNCTIONAL. These uncaring carriers whom have to get out of their van anyway just walk away and I get an autimated system email saying I REQUESTED the package to be held at PO. Who designed the online system was obviously shifting blame unto us tax PAYING CUSTOMERS. Dont call me and make it sound like it is what it is. This CAN be fixed by changing the wording. It may not be your local PO's problem but it's infuriating. Look, our PO is good when absolutely nothing out of norm happens. What angers me is that one out of norm issue they just wash their hands off of it and leave us in the lurch. That's government for you. I really hope Amazon or some drone delivery company could take over delivery work so maybe these overworked carriers can get a less workload and us paying customers can get less frustrated. I don't like corporations but USPS acts like a monoply that cares nothing for its customers since they can't get laid off anyway. Smh. And I don't want junk mail, which is what also pays them. Chino post office needs to put no parking signs in front of every mailbox if their policy is to not deliver mail because of someone elses vehicle parked LEGALLY in front of my mailbox. I pay my share of taxes to have my mail delivered on time. If they don't want to make the expense of putting signs up, then they should give their drivers a little more time to deliver mail. I understand why the driver doesn't want to get out of their truck. Because it slows them down. They are overworked and pressured to hit so many houses on their shift without overtime hours. I've been coming here to mail documents for work...This post office is always busy and the parking lot is really small so finding parking is difficult... Everytime I come the line is pretty long, but the staff works fast and hard to get the line moving... The staff is always very friendly and helpful.. They have a machine that you can do the same transaction as the counter but pay with card only... They have a variety of items for sale as well like packages, giftcards, stamps pretty much anything you need to mail out... They do not accept any UPS drop offs, only USPS... If you come to this post office be patient since it's always busy, the longest I've had to wait was lile 20 mins and the line was all the way to the end of the building...Overall great service and they are doing the best they can with the few employees they have working.... read more

This place is the absolute worst. First I heard Amy, the supervisor, refusing to help an elderly man who wanted to know when his package was delivered. He had a tracking. She checked it and said it was delivered. He asked when? And she told him she couldn't help him. Then when it was my turn, I accidentally put a letter in the outgoing mail slot and asked politely if she could get it for me. It's in a bright red envelope. And I just did it. I know this isn't a simple task. She told me she didn't have any time. She had customers to help. I was the only person in line. No one was there except me. Literally worst post office ever. Sad thing is she will probably always be cranky supervisor Amy who cannot handle stress. She literally told me she didn't have time and I needed to let it go. Mind blowing. I completely would have understood if she told me that once the letter goes through the slot, they cannot go through it. Cool, I get that. It sounds like a sensible rule. But nope. No time! Save yourself the trouble and go to another one. Or just make sure Amy doesn't help you. The other ladies sounded very nice when they were helping their customers. read more

The gentlemen that work at this facility are kind and helpful, but one of the ladies that works in "helping" customers in line is rude and rushes you to notify her what you need help with. Before you could explain, she's already moving on. When i asked her for help while waiting at window 5 after waiting In line and she attended to everyone but the people waiting at window 5, she literally turned and looked at me and went inside and never helped. This post office has lost 3 of my packages in the last 4 years. This is AFTER I wait in their long line and pay for shipping. Every year I have lived in Chino, this post office's ability to do their basic job function(s) gets worst and worst. I am not too sure why they have the (909) 364-1361 phone number listed for this post office because they NEVER answer OR they allow the phone to ring and ring until the call "gets dropped." From the beginning and still, they are NOT able to bring my package to me (three days already)!!! Today is the fifth day, and 'supervisor' still has no clue where is my package!!! What is worse? No one answers the phone and when they do it's not to greet the customer but rather to simply hang up on them. This happened over 15 times just now. When I decided to come in to the post office, I'm rushed and have my questions half ass answered. Which is why I tried to make a call ahead of time so I know what is needed before I arrive. But instead I go in blind , wait for 30 minutes in line to find out i don't have the right docs and was sent home. I observed another employee snatching mail from a customer's hands which was also rude from this customer perspective as the customer verbally let the employee know this wasn't acceptable. The usps employee replied with a smart remark which was unexpected and very unprofessional. This employee was not behind the counter but rather floating around the front of the line, trying to rush things along. This was the same employee who told me to simply go home cause I wasn't ready and was tying up the line. If This Chino USPS had a responsible person answering the phone you wouldn't have unaware customers walking into your post office tying up your line. This was only an impression from a couple visits.
