I was returning a SHEIN package, and everything clearly stated that the return was free. However, the cashier insisted that she did not like my bag packaging and told me that I had to buy their store's a bag. I tried to object, but she suddenly threw the packages towards me and told me go out new I told her that these were my rights and that she did not have the right to treat me this way. Eventually, I decided to pay, because my child was crying loudly next to me and I wanted to end the situation as quickly as possible. When the screen prompted me to leave a review, she turned the screen away from me and pressed the green smiley face herself. I asked her to turn the screen back because I wanted to leave the review on my own. From that moment on, she completely ignored me and kept gesturing with her hand for me to leave. And she still tried to make me purchase a tape to tape it over. Like are you guys serious? This is horrible. Super friendly and quick service from staff. Kelly was anticipated what I needed before I even asked for it; such excellent service! Quick access from I-205. This location has one self serve station and PO Boxes, but they all close when the main lobby close at 6:00 pm so limited hours. So plan accordingly! Standard prices for shipping boxes and envelopes. I haven't compared their price with others private entities lately to say for sure which one has the best value. read more

It is almost near impossible to have mail reliably forwarded. It either does not start as ordered.... And I have called up to 4 or 5 times trying to get it corrected... or my latest experience, surprisingly it did start on time and it went well for a few days, but alas. Looking for a Post Office that's open on Saturday? This is a great option. They are open Saturday from 10 to 2. The clerk is a very nice guy with a sense of humor. I've been coming here for years, and he's been there all this time. There's also a Self - Service kiosk and a large aluminum barrel drum for packages in the lobby. It's on a corner and has a large parking lot with an easy entrance on one street, and exit on the other. We love this post office! We always come here for our package deliveries, do the counter service & always have a wonderful experience. The staff started to remember us and are always so friendly, funny & knowledgeable. Rarely is there a long line and when there is, it's not a long wait. I've tried going to other post offices in Portland but they're so slow & take forever. I know coming here, I can just pop in real quick and be in and out fast. I've been using this Post Office for decades, including a long term PO Box. Post Offices in general aren't known for outstanding customer service and I've seen employees behaving extremely rude to customers in the past. Today Annette was no different. She was rude, condescending, and confrontational from the beginning of our interaction. (You can see pictures of her in other reviews with complaints about her as well, if you're uncertain of which employee she is, though I believe she's the longest employed female at this branch). I had an issue with some missing mail I was trying to resolve. She gave me different answers as to where my mail was then when I asked for clarification so I could follow up with the supervisor per her suggestion she stated I was harassing her. I was calm through the entire interaction and only asked question so I could follow up. She was aggressive and rude the entire time, refusing to give me a number to call to speak with the supervisor as well, tell me I'd have to look it up myself. I find it odd an employee wouldn't know or wouldn't have access to the number they're telling a customer to call. Annette is a person obviously unhappy in her job, and I'm sure working at this branch doesn't help, but please either focus on customer service find her a position that isn't customer facing. read more

I used to dread going to the post office. It seemed like every time I visited, I got slow, disinterested service at best, and often, surly unhelpful employees at worst. This little post office is different. Each time I visit, I'm greeted with a friendly smile (behind a mask, of course!), and superb counter service. Folks there seem to like their jobs, and their customers. I'd highly recommend this place if your mailing and shipping needs require a helpful, friendly staff. read more

This is a really mixed bag of pros and cons, so I'll give the USPS branch office in Clackamas OR 3 stars. This is the neighborhood post office and it is that in more ways than one. It's a small post office, but it's not that small. Too bad I don't have a photo of the post office in Grand Ronde, Oregon. Now that's a shack. Still, this branch is too small for the area that it serves, which has grown tremendously. The areas for the P.O. boxes and the stamp machines are fine, but the actual waiting area for counter service is way too small, with the line easily going out the door into the lobby at peak times, so 2 stars for that. Surprisingly, the parking lot is ample and there has never been a problem finding a place to park. Also, while on a side street, this post office is easy to get to from not one, but two different freeway ramps ... one for Hwy 212 to Estacada and the other for the spur for S.E. 82nd Drive. The service is like that in a small town. There are a few people who have been working there a long time, they remember me, and they are very helpful, so 4 stars for that. Of its employees, I always prefer to go to those who greet people like they are having a good day, or doing a very good job pretending. Also, the competence level at this local post office has always been superior to that experienced at the Airport post office with the extended hours, where they typically have 2 employees, and sometimes 1 employee, at the counter and sometimes a ridiculous line that moves as slowly as molasses. I don't mind going here when I have to. I've gotten consistently decent service here over the years. The only thing is that this post office does "double duty" for both Clackamas 97015 and Happy Valley 97086, so it probably needs to be replaced or modernized and expanded. I am sure the USPS is quite aware of that. Whether they do anything about it is another story. read more

This location has a really nice kiosk for people to use for self service and mailing letters! I only really had to deal with the office workers for a few minutes to help me solve a problem I was having, besides that they were fantastic. If you look past the fact that most people that go there can't park and don't know what they're doing the only real negative I could fiind wAs how early they close. Definitely ganna go back to this location in the near future. read more

I love and will miss this post office. Unfortunately I moved and need to find a new post office where I live now. I've found that most people don't bother leaving reviews unless they have a bad experience, especially at a post office. But I want to express how great this particular USPS is. I used to go to Creston in SE Portland on Foster road because Warren was/is amazing, but the days I'd go and Warren was at lunch or vacation was terrible. The other ones in SE Portland work in slow motion. I needed to find a post office that is open on Saturdays, and this one in Clackamas was not only closer to me, but it was super fast. Even around Christmas/Thanksgiving time, the long lines would go by exceptionally fast. I do a lot of handicrafts and come here weekly usually with multiple packages. Everyone who works at the front counter is competent, friendly, and extremely helpful - Kelly, Ron, Annette, and Jaina. What's even better is how these employees will help customers who are new to the post office by offering cheaper alternatives to new people - I have never seen this at any other post office. I see customers unknowingly grab priority rate flat mail boxes because they are "free" when they would save a significant amount of money by buying the ReadyPost packing materials and shipping via first class. And what do the USPS workers suggest? Exactly what I said. They want to help customers to save money instead of screwing them over and not educating them on the different rates. This is how I learned about the "flats" (first class envelopes without tracking). In short... Best post office ever! Thank you for all you do!!! read more

Wow. This is the second review I will have written about this USPS. For starters they hate small businesses especially ones that do online sales or have a large quantity of packages. I had no issues with this office until I started reselling and bringing in bulk amounts of packages. They first started by saying they flat out will not take them. That I HAD to go to the main post office where all their mail is eventually sent. While I understand the sentiment-you're a post office and the literal function of this building is to provide a public service to the public. This office is blatantly avoiding work by sending it elsewhere. I've continued using their drop box since that's the only place they won't yell at me and I now have severe anxiety for using a service as it was created. Today was yet another twist to an already inconvenient situation. I use the drop box because I'm "not allowed" to drop packages at the counter in the office. Today I was informed I can't use the drop box since it was filling up and to leave them on the counter. WHICH IS IT USPS?! Why is it so difficult to allow people to drop off packages?! This is a crucial part of my business and you're constantly putting a clog in my system for absolutely no reason. The lack of care, compassion, work ethic, drive is all lost. This office has and continues to be a sight for sore eyes and I can only hope their plethora of awful reviews speak for themselves. If you want a pleasant experience with usps, don't ever come here. read more

I've started to come almost on a daily basis to drop off pre-paid packages for a small eBay store I have. They always seem to have a line which makes sense for a small post office. But the main lady that works there does not seem very nice at all. She looks up to see who comes through the door but never smiles and never says hello even though she makes eye contact. I overhear her talk to customers and it always seems like she's having a bad day. Hope she's a completely different person outside of work cause that would be sad if she wasn't. read more

The clerk had a terrible attitude and clearly dislikes her job and anyone walking through the door. Unless you have no other choice I highly recommend you do not walk through this door.
