Great post office! Randy, Tanya and Karen are always very helpful and friendly! Mail is distributed to the PO boxes promptly in the morning.

This post office has the worst customer service, we went on vacation for two weeks and had our mail held, when coming back home, we realized the mail held was only the junk/advertisements, what happened to all of our pertinent mail? where did it go?, why was was it not held? This post office is terrible. I had a package shipped from California. The person that the post office used to deliver the package delivered to the wrong house. The woman at the post office said she went to look for the package herself and didn't find it. She told walk around the neighborhood to loo for it. What an idiot! Worse service I have ever seen. Do ship anything here. I wouldn't even send a letter to someone from here. There's zero accountability. These folks don't care about your property. The post master at this location is the rudest lady in town. She lost my package and then blamed it on me. I told her what I really think of her and she tried to close the door on me. Then she called me 30 minutes later just to argue with me some more. Avoid this post office at all cost. read more

Got to love when the post master has the horrible customer service and is rude to customers Told me to get my id that wasn't good enough to pick up my package. Wouldn't give me my package. Didn't bother to check form they make you fill out yearly. Grew up in Dewey and first time felt like I was treated so bad in my small town. This facility has changed to the absolute worst place I have ever done business with in my life. Incredibly rude and incompetent. After losing my package for 35 days they said it was my fault for choosing "the slowest option" The package was finally returned to this office and after I paid $85 for shipping that didn't happen they wanted $95 for it being returned!! They said it was refused by the recipient and then it had the wrong address and then they scribbled Wrong Label across the box. It was their fault but they wouldn't cop to it and had zero intention of helping me before our conversation even started. read more

I have to cancel Amazon prime as the post office won't deliver packages on my 100ft smooth dirt road (drive a brand new car on it every day). Then due to the post offices crappy hours of operation I can only pick up my packages on Saturdays. I'm sure everyone reading this knows what it's like to pick up a package on a Saturday.... Ring the door bell for a half hour... Go home and try again next week... read more

This post office is a joke. They quick to send your packages back and if it's deliverable takes a couple days to pick up. I try not to use any online business that ships with the USPS. The post office is not even open on Saturdays read more

dewey post office is the worst..ever since kristie quit, they can not keep mail carriers, my mail and packages keep going to the wrong houses...ive had bills lost and then have to pay a late fee and double payments...and that woman on the phone down there is the rudest...I have packages now that said they were delivered, and i never got them...now shes tryin to track them down..Im afraid to order anything any more...these people are idiots...and Im so mad. and I have filed complaint after complaints with the main p.o. dept. read more

This may be a small town but customer service has always been very bad and still is unfortunately. I still have some of my Parcels returned back to the sender instead of them taking a moment to double-check the name .I have only be here for 22 years with a name that is unusual . I have found on three occasions other people's parcels in my PO box so they really needs to step up their game. They close at 4 in the afternoon which means when I get a package I get the dreaded yellow card where I have to come up to the counter during their business hours if they have not just returned it !. What happened to small friendly small town atmosphere. It does not exist here.They are too quick to make excuses instead of being helpful. read more

Dewey post office,, went back this morning 03/09/22 to pick up my package which contains vaccine for my horse which is on ice packs (I received proof it was delivered 03/08/22 at 10am) after having gone to post office at 3:30 and no package in box. I went back to the post office, I ask the postal worker about my package and showed her proof it was delivered yesterday morning. She replied in a condescending tone, "Oh it's from UPS. They are responsible to ensure you receive your package as scheduled" Well, UPS did! It is now sitting at the post office waiting to be processed, almost 24 hours later despite me paying almost $24 for expedited shipping. I asked her what if my vaccine is no longer good because it is waiting to be processed. She said call UPS. She added, that she doesn't have time to go through 100 packages to get to my one package and to come back in a couple of hours. I hope the vaccine is still good if not I will be out of $73 (price for vaccine and shipping). What ever happened to customer service. Instead, I got a rude, incompetent, lazy, sarcastic government employee!!! read more
