Literally had the worst experience here. The woman that was working behind the counter was super rude and she bad mouthed our President out loud not considering that people may not be on the same page as her. When I approached the counter, she assumed I wanted to pay the most expensive deliveries without even asking me. I clarified to her that I wanted the standard 2 to 5 day deliveries since they were Christmas gifts so there was no rush to have them delivered soon. She took my packages and tossed them on the tray behind her; thankfully, there were no fragile items in those packages. I paid then I left. I don't think I will give this post office my business anymore. read more

I stopped in this little post office late this afternoon to mail something for my 90 year old mother. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and was asked by the clerk how she could help me. She gave me a recommendation and processed the envelope quickly. Then she asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I was in and out before the sun could heat up my car. read more

The only GOOD thing about this location is there drive thru drop off post box. The slot can fit semi-large bendable packages and regular mail. HOWEVER, if you have a LARGE package, there is NOT a large drop box to deliver or drop your pre-stamped box. Really annoying. This place rarely has anyone working here. Lots of room for improvement. read more

Horrible. They don't pickup mail anymore. They started a vacation hold one day sooner than requested so an important vacation document wasn't delivered. I went to the PO to see if I could pick it up and their posted opening is 8:30. There was a hand made sign saying they opened ar 9:30. I made a post regarding my visit earlier this month giving this post office and just checked and it's REMOVED TODAY. So real quick - the woman who talks over people misleads you to over pay for postage and says when it is deduced "everyone knows there is a book rate" as she "has known this for 30 years after the exchange of she didn't know it was a book. Why would she? So, rates are a riddle and if you ask for the least expensive rate she will give you what she deems until you question it as overprices ($9 for a simple book vs. $4 book rate = cheapest) as well, she will continue her stance talking over you all the while you are in the lobby trying to do your other business. RIDICULOUS - keep her in check manager!! This employee is a DREAD, who's tone is so down talking to people (in my first post I told the story of the older man she made go back and forth for a pen, as the COUNTER pens had a long story, and were under her authority. Completely bizzare. These people are public servants, I expect them to be HONEST (she admitted their training was to charge the higher rates) and polite as am I. I laugh all the way back to my car she is so ridiculous! This is all of our post office to use that we pay taxes for as Americans. The employees here are NOT ABOVE REPROACH. read more

I first went to the Sierra Gardens location in Roseville, the line was so long I elected to go to Granite Bay location since I was heading in that direction anyway. Walking in, there was only one customer in that store, and I understand why it would be preferable to stand in line in Roseville rather than be treated by the equivalent of the Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" at this post office. This woman, who, from reading the other reviews, should have left customer service a long time ago, told me I could not write the address at a specific counter. But rather, I had to go back to the other counter, not to congregate in front of her. Mind you, there was no one waiting other than me. Then, when I brought my envelope to her, she told me in the most condescending tone that I had to write my full name in the return area, when I have simply put my last name for years without any issues. In fact, there was a customer at the folsom location I ended up at who simply wrote mom, and the worker there didn't say a word and took her package. This woman is obviously in the wrong line of work and has a huge power trip about her role with the Postal Service. I will admit not handling the situation in the most mature fashion, for what it's worth. It's no wonder most people choose to use UPS or FedEx nowadays. I don't assume the US Postal Service read these reviews, but I would strongly recommend to consumers to go out of their way to go to other locations, rather than to be treated like crap by this extremely rude individual. read more

Let me preface by saying that I used to work for the post office as a letter carrier. I had 2 packages STOLEN BY POSTAL EMPLOYEES last December. In this post office. That's right, I had packages sent to my. P.O. Box stolen. Merry christmas you a$$holes. Those were gifts. Nothing has been done by management. Contemplating involving law enforcement and or a lawyer soon if something doesn't happen to make it right. As a former postal employee I'm DISGUSTED with this location and the management. I've been given the run around about this situation for 6 months now. Beyond ridiculous. Bottom line, management doesn't give a flying &#$@. This location sucks. Not just mildly, majorly. I've had the same woes as others here. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've been talked down to, disrespected and plain lied to. As a former postal employee I know how things are SUPPOSED to work. The employees here do whatever the hell they want with very little or no regard to how it will affect the customer. Do they care in the least that we are paying for these services, sure doesn't seem that way. Do they care that there's a competitor that offers the same services for a simular price a few hundred feet from them, I highly doubt it. I have a P.O. Box here and I'm in here at least once a week. I have a small business and have been using the post office exclusively for my shipping needs for a very very long time. I have been to and regularly used many different branches. (Even worked at multiple branches) At this particular branch there's lots of impatient rude customers that are always complaining and trying to cut me in line. I guess I now understand why everyone is always in such a foul mood when they come in here, I'm one of them. I loathe having to deal with ONE of the employees here. It's a small little post office. I drive way out of my way to use this branch. I prepaid for a long term of service, my mistake. The first few months I had a P.O. Box here I really liked it. As time went on I started to see why all the bad reviews and who they were slanted towards. I started having simular experiences. I gave everyone here the benefit of the doubt and have tried my best to ask nicely for things but all I have received in return is attitude, b.s. excuses and lies. That being said the majority of the employees here are awesome. Only takes one bad apple... I'm quite sick of this place to be honest, I doubt I'll be renewing my services here when my time is up. I'll probably go do some business with the competition across the parking lot and see how they handle things there. If it wasn't such a pain in the ass to switch everything over I'd have already done it. UPS is also offering the same services now. I've now had a box here for over 2 years and they still put other people's mail in my box. I have nicely asked every employee here face to face not to do this, they have all said basically the same thing. "This shouldn't be happening and I will make sure any mail I put in your box is yours." Yet it's still happening. It's either intentional or just pure laziness. Either way, could you be worse at your job? If this is how you work in an office I feel sorry for your customers if you were previously a letter carrier. read more

I read a review of another person complaining that their mail was stolen out of the Granite Bay Post Office. This happened to me as well after I dropped off a box into the indoor box. I asked the older woman (Sonya?) if she could find it in the back. She was the rudest and most condescending so called customer service person. If you have a problem with her or this post office, contact the main post office or file a complaint with the Inspector General or look up online for a complaint phone number. If any post office needs to be shut down, this one is it! AVOID this post office!!! read more

The customer service here was terrible. The woman I spoke with today had no idea how to help me and just brushed me off in a fairly nasty tone. She should be out of customer service as she clearly doesn't care to be helpful. Perhaps working I the back away from customers is a better fit. I expect more from my tax dollars. Cautionary tale: only good thing here is that it is in a new building and looks Nice. Otherwise they are Nazis. I have had packages sent back to me from this location that had "insufficient postage". Took the same package and put the same postage on it and shipped from another site, no problem. This last time I was in there the lady forced me to write my last name on the return address. Then when I was paying for the shipping costs she made me sign my name on the back of my CC (haven't signed it for YEARS without issue). NAZI. AVOID. read more

Cannot delivery mail to the correct address. The street numbers are clearly marked on all the mail boxes in Shelborne area. I spend time each week going around and delivering the USPS mail to my neighbors because the USPS delivery person does not speak/read English. read more

Been coming here for 6 years. Usually only one person at the counter, with a line out the door. If you can, avoid Sonyia at all cost!!! Bitter, grumpy, unhappy, miserable, and just horrid! All she wants to do is retire, and if I had any say in it - it'd happen tomorrow! Such a poor attitude and demeanor. I try to as often as possible, get my stamps online, then just drop off. This is the best post office around. The lines are almost never crowded, (mostly) friendly staff, and they ship out quicker than the folsom USPS. I highly recommend this place over the folsom or sierra gardens post office. read more

There are no words to express the high level of customer service I received from Peter last Tuesday evening. I was in a huge bind and needed a package that was delivered to my P.O. Box and was in the back where I couldn't retrieve it. He was locking up and opened the door again just for me. He really saved the day. I needed to pick up the keys to my PO box on my lunch break today, and was greeted with a line almost out the door. People were irritable- as always- and making comments about the wait. This post office is very convenient and there is always plenty of parking in the shopping center they are located in. About half of the people that were there and very friendly and the other half and completely opposite. I once sold a comic off ebay and the guy working there told me I couldn't send a comic via media mail because it has advertising in it. I think it is pretty safe to assume that ebay wouldn't suggest I sent via media mail and buy the shipping directly from them if they knew it was illegal. I just came back a few hours later when somebody else was working and she had no problem accepting it. read more

This is the worst post office I have ever been to and I have given them many tries. Employees are only friendly and talk to those they know, anyone else they are rude to or just talk to their friend that is waiting in line. Always get different information every time I come in. My mail carrier is the worst ever, sometime I don't get my mail till almost 9:30pm. They need new management or a whole new staff to save this place. I had a very bad experience and was hoping it won't happen to any body. I mailed a Birthday card to my daughter a week before her birthday which was June 11,2015. Enclosed in that card is cash of $50.00 so she don't have to go to the bank if it's a check. Up to now she didn't receive the card. No reason to get all nasty and insist I add my name on the envelope when the address is clearly included. Try Sierra Gardens or Rocklin.
