Extremely rude to me when I inquired about an Amazon return and then charged 6 dollars for an Amazon return bag. What a rip off

Super bad service was returning a box of shoes and they sent them back to me instead of to the company they were supposed to go then they said they would have them picked up and sent to the correct place. I didn't happen either never going there again. read more

very frustrating to wait in line for a notary only to have the notary. Tell you that your document can't be notarized because you don't have all the pages to it. Literally the document is one page and a start and end of document at the bottom of the page. She basically tells me to F off. The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Roseville, California

UPS employees are trying to lie and say that they cannot scan Amazon barcodes when you're doing a return. They make us use a machine to do our return. They have a long line for the machine but are not helping the elders not knowing how to use it so holds up the line. Let me add they had no one in their line to assist. They mentioned I need to select another option to do my return. The only other options is for me to pay and I already had my own bag. I just needed the dam labeled printed and my receipt. The machine printed it but did not give me my receipt. I was coming in during my lunch to knock this out and was frustrated as the one in Cirby was having road work so we could not go there. The one by hobby lobby does not exist. So I had no choice to go to this location. I do drop offs often and never heard they cannot scan our phones to print label. The employee mentioned is because they are not getting paid. I'm sure Amazon is paying for these returns. So again be prepared at this location you cannot have the employees scan your phone to print label and receipt anymore. They make you do it yourself. So if that machine goes down, we will see if they tell people they cannot scan it. Smh read more

The male worker is very rude. I go in at 3pm to drop off a package and they are yelling they're closed while they don't have any signs posted with early closing hours. Then I watch as they let someone come in after me and take her. I get it's the holidays and they want to go home but you do t have to yell or be rude when I just walk in and then take some random lady after me. Only once I told them I was here before her did they kick us both out. Honestly, it's not about them not taking me. It's about how rude they were when I walked through the door and how they had to yell at me that's completely unprofessional and I will never recommend or go back to this place. I would recommend this business in one condition- that Tan, the employee be fired. He is condescending, rude and altogether very unprofessional. I am willing to drive 3 miles out of the way just to avoid him. I heard he is part owner. Other owners please buy him out or reprimand him or just plain get rid of him. After months of waiting for my refund check for a lost package I finally get a check and it doesn't include the shipping . I paid them to lose my stuff. They will not pay for the shipping because I packed it ?! It's been very frustrating. I did not accept the payment because I don't feel this is right. My package was to be delivered the same day I had spinal surgery. I haven't had the time nor the energy to try and stick up for myself with them. I asked to contact the manager regarding my issue and was denied direct access so I asked if they could contact me and I have yet to hear anything back. All I want is to be made whole. My package was never delivered even though I paid for it . UPDATE: I was contacted by the General Manager 2 days after this post. The manager was very apologetic even though the manager had been out on leave when the incident occurred. I appreciate the rapid response and resolution . I believe whole heartedly that this whole situation (misinformation) could have been avoided however, everyone makes mistakes. Tam should be fired. He is rude and ignores customers. Came in with a return he refused to take although it was exactly how Amazon instructed me to bring int. Had to go to the other UPS store and they accepted it no problem. Came in there another time and unfortunately Tam was working again and he noticed me standing there ignored me boxed up and taped 3 boxes and then acknowledged me just to order me over to the self service center and refused to take my returns or help me with how it worked. I don't think all made it properly. There was nobody in the store when I walked in but when I walked out there was a huge line of unhappy customers behind me (10+). Lazy, unhelpful employees. Walked in with 3 Amazon returns. Two girls at the desk doing nothing. One girl helps me with 2 of my packages that I had to box myself but she had to print the label. The 3rd item needed to be put on a plastic bag and the label printed. She tells me I have to use the kiosk- which has 3 people in line to use it already. I ask can she please just print the label for this last package and give me a bag, I can put it in the bag if it's really that hard. She says she'll do it this time but in the future I have to wait in line at the kiosk. Um. No I won't because I'll just go someplace else where the employees actually help the customers. read more

First time user of self-serve return kiosk. Employee initially with customer. I held up small package and employee pointed towards wall and said to scan QR code. Customer left. Desk I was at had a laptop in it and some device which I took as a scanner. Didn't work. Employee pointed to a desk further down the wall. Eventually, another customer came in and helped me complete the return. Employee was fiddling with something behind the counter and too busy to help. Should hire the customer. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Went in to get two documents notarized and was charged per signature and had to pay them for witnesses. Found out that at another UPS store in Folsom they charged only to notarize each document; not by signatures and did not charge for witnesses. They charged me 15 for each signature that needed to be apparently notarized. Which makes no sense! Then charged me for witnesses. I paid an extra 25 dollars. On top of that the customer service was awful. Not nice at all! Dude acts like he's doing you a favor. Will never go there again. I rather drive further away to get better customer service and charged correctly. read more

Having owned and operated an independent mailbox store, the common person doesn't understand that Amazon returns are not a huge revenue generator. Do not use our tape, that costs the small business $. Don't ask the employee to lug your Amazon packages around as Amazon provides a self service kiosk for you to do your self service returns at a convenient location. I use to have people get down right mad that I treat Amazon return people differently. I'm sorry, but your minimal generator or revenue does not compare at all to the customer who wants to use the actual services I provide. So for if you Amazon shippers that feel so entitled to have UPS employees ned over backward for you, get off your lazy ass and do the self check out kiosk yourself. Yes, there is a line. Stand in it. Be patient. Just because you got your package within 24 hours at Amazon doesn't mean that the 11th hour you need to make a return of that stupid item you bought from Amazon sitting in your truck on its 29th day, is of any fault of the UPS store personnel. Having been in this position I can be brutally honest in saying, "you're a d**k" if you can't get with the program. Thanks to my local UPS store for always being nice and in a great position to even have this service. One last note, you have a problem, go stand in line at Whole Foods where you came from or go to the way back of the store at Kohl's if you can't manage a self-kiosk and want dedicated assistance, your highness! read more

I called asking about the mailbox services and inquired about a small box and a nice woman on the phone let me know about what specials they were offering and what forms of ID I needed to bring in. Then I go in a few hours later, a different employee is there. He pushes me to side, gives me attitude for having an ID card for my insurance on my phone, sighs at me for having to print it out then pushes me aside to help 4 different customers. I get it, I can wait because my transaction takes time and theirs are fast. But this dude, Devan, just treated me like shit, well he treated me like a sleazy used car salesman would. He had me sign ALL of the paperwork without reviewing any pricing information (just late fees) and then I didn't find out the total until the end. At which point, I felt pressured to pay and leave. I went to my car and balled my eyes out and then spent 2 more hours stressing out over the $420 I was charged for A MEDIUM MAILBOX FOR A YEAR. Fucking highway robbery and a complete lack of customer service. I received a call from Cam, apparently a Sacramento area manager who informed me that this was non refundable (which I saw on the receipt and was the reason I was freaking out). So bottom line, if you're a small business owner, please don't use this place for your mailbox unless you like getting treated like shit and not being informed about what they're charging you. It's cool. When my year is over, my out. Cam offered to downsize my box, this isn't the issue. I felt swindled, used, taken advantage of, and just hustled. I don't have any desire to return to this location or any other UPS store. You clearly don't care about your "customers" or finding any other way to make things work. read more

Ship very frequently with UPS but rarely go into a UPS store. I had a single box with pre paid label and was told that I couldn't put a shipping label on the manufacturers box and ship it. Again, shipped this specie combo many of times and never been told this so I look it up. UPS's website specifically says you can if it's a new or newer box. Went back in to show her this and she again refused to take the prepaid....asked her to show me where it said she couldn't take it and she said her boss's told her??? So bottom line is Stephanie and her boss's aren't easy or even reasonable to do business with so I definitely will not be coming back. read more

I don't know what the Asian guys name is but he provides inaccurate information pushing customers to either make a purchase from them or they can't make the return even though you have followed Amazon return packaging requirements. I've been waiting patiently to resolve my lost package (delivery supposed to be 6/10/22) . I got a call on Thursday 10/13 to come pick up my check only to find out that they will not reimburse me for what I paid in shipping. They said that since I packed it myself the would not. So I pretty much paid them to lose my stuff and they see nothing wrong with that. I don't even want to tell you about the headache that is the claim process. When you send something out at the UPS store it is logged under their account number so you have to file the claim with that store . This whole experience has been very frustrating and exhausting. I'm not asking for a million dollars . I just want to be made whole $14 was the shipping. read more

To be fair, the cashier was lovely & I assume following the store policy. She also had no way of knowing I had just finished another round of chemo ,was so exhausted & it was soo hot out. I went in to drop off an amazon return. The 1st thing the cashier said to me was "I will need to charge you a dollar for a piece of tape", I thought I was getting pranked. The box wasn't sealed properly & did need a piece of tape. Why a dollar why not charge $5.00? If this business is hoping to build a reputation for outstanding customer service they have failed. I declined her generous offer of only charging me $1.00 for a 1" piece of tape & went to another UPS store that does offer great customer service & gave me the tape for free! read more

I've been to this place so many times. I'm the Duke right now as I write this. I've sent many things out through this location. However, my most recent experience was not good. I needed to send a simple padded envelope ($2.69-2.99 price range) to Australia. They said it would cost me $166 and change. I was shocked. I went to the USPS granite bay love to on and I'm holding the receipt now: $29.75! How in the world did an under $30 mailing suddenly swell to over 5.5x that amount? I was ready to give this place one star, but I went with three because I've had good experiences in the past. I went into this location yesterday to mail out an item that fit inside a CD box that I purchased at this location. I told the female clerk I wanted to send it the cheapest way possible with tracking using USPS. She proceeds to quote me a price of $27 and some change to ship it ground. I tell her no I want to use the post office Do you guys do ship via USPS correct and she tells me yes. Then she tells me okay the cheapest I could send it is $26. I tell her I ship out hundreds of items to Florida every year and it is never cost me more than $9. She tells me shipping parcel select Is the cheapest she can do for this It must be because it's in Florida why it's so expensive. So I tell her just charge me for the box I'll take it to the post office where they're going to charge me less than $10 to ship it. And she said okay. I live in the apartment complexes right behind the shopping center that this location is at. I will never go back horrible customer service makes no sense that she's trying to rip people off or if she's not trying to rip people off she doesn't have enough knowledge to know that there's many different ways to ship an item. In the end I drove across town to the post office and shipped my item in their box for $9. And that was with insurance. read more

5/18/24 Used UPS in the Renaissance Creek shopping center on Sierra Creek for a Notary service. I suggest you use Granite Bay Postal instead. At least they read the directions and listen to what you need. UPS - I asked if that was all I needed when he signed it and he arrogantly said 'yes' and then told me I didn't need an appointment and next time I just need to stand in line. I sent in the notarized papers and guess what, I needed a 'Jurat' as listed in the notary instructions that he failed to read. That oversight cost me several days in this financial transaction. I went back in on the 26th and asked for the Jurat. I asked him if we needed to do the form again and he said 'no'. Again I trusted that he was the 'expert'. He did the Jurat and used the 5/26/24 date on it. I sent it back in. It was rejected again because now the date on the Jurat and the date of the signature that he was certifying that he had witnessed did not match. 6/1/24 went back in today, told to come back at 2 because that would be when a notary would be in, not the same notary which I was ok with so I would have to pay the fee again. Went back after 2 since I hadn't looked for another notary, it was a Saturday and I knew one would be here. But no, the info I had been given by the employee looking at the schedule this morning was wrong, no notary. 2 weeks lost, $$$ lost since stock market dropped during this time, no refund, and amateur notary service. Just find a real notary that isn't also packing boxes and taping envelopes. read more

Worst customer service experience in quite a while. Very rude and refused the Amazon return. I've returned several there in similar packaging with a label affixed. He needs to not work with the public. 8:30 AM 10/26. **Edited to respond to the reply. I received it in a plastic bag, not a bubble bag. I did not refuse to pay, we didn't get that far in the conversation. You cut my label, placed a poorly sealed cellophane over it when I asked you to tape it back up, and I showed you the instructions that I received from Amazon which did NOT indicate original packaging was required. You continue to be rude. I will resolve with Amazon and have no interest in visiting your store in the future. read more

Have been sending parcels to family in Canada since this location opened. Today I tried to ship a gift and the clerk wanted to charge me over $262.00. Explained that even the heaviest boxes I have sent in the past have never been more than $70.00 in the. Asked her to double check to make sure that she didn't make an error and she maintained the price. Went to Granite Bay postal and shipped my box for $59.00. Returned again 12-10 thinking everyone deserves a second chance and surely the training issue in August had been resolved. The clerk was kind and welcoming but in order for my small box to get to Canada before Christmas it would cost $266.00. I returned to Granite Bay Postal (which is out of the way) and they are guaranteeing delivery by 12/16 for $71. Buyer beware! read more

My only complaint about this location is the staffing during the lunch hour. I've tried a couple times to go around 1 and have to leave before I can drop off my package because they only have 1 staffer while the other one is on break and he's trying to fax, ship, and whatever else. I have to give him props though because he always stays calm and friendly. read more
