The staff here was polite but like the main Falmouth Post Office, the staff seemed overwhelmed with the rush. In the end, not a terrible Post Office but be prepared to wait for a bit.

My package, which tracking showed was already in my state three days ago, that should have arrived…read moreto my home today in Rhode Island, had been inexplicably redirected to a a post office in Barnstable Massachusetts according to tracking. I wasn't sure I would find a local phone number for any local post offices in Barnstable, because USPS wants all the calls directed to their 800 number, which normally is not very helpful for me since all they actually see is the same tracking I am able to see. Yet, I decided to look for a local number online and I was able to find the one for this particular location in Barnstable. Right away, I was able to speak to a lovely woman named Shirley and after looking through a few packages she was able to find mine and let me know that it was a barcode error and that she would be sending the package directly back to me instead of having to wait for it to be processed once again in Providence, where it had already been over three days ago. What a relief! Not only was I lucky enough to call the correct post office in Barnstable, but I reached someone who was so happy to help me. I am truly grateful!

Online tracking indicates it has not left this location. This envelope contained numerous sensitive documents with my personal information which will be difficult and costly to replace which is why it was sent Registered at a cost of $44.25!

The way she was so rude. I could not believe it. three weeks later I did the same thing and I forgot the tape. Of course she would not give me any. to drive home and get the tape at my house. There may be less expensive options around (I haven't bothered checking), but I found the prices to be very reasonable.
