Natalie from the Elizabeth Post Office called me back and stated that she had got my complaint. Then proceeded to tell me, "to clarify, I don't work for you, we don't operate from tax dollars", she called me a jerk and stated that I was entitled because I didn't understand how busy they are the day after a holiday. I told her that every business (who wants to remain in business) should answer the phone when customers call. She hung up on me. Wow! send an email, don't buy stamps, go paperless, whatever you can do to NOT use the Post Office. This is why their reviews are so bad - people like they have at the Elizabeth Post Office. Horrible Customer Service!!

Went in Christmas Eve day to pick up package because UPS had left a note on my front door. To be honest I'm not sure she heard a word I said she was in such a rush I came back to pick up my package December 31st arriving at noon ant the store was closed. The following day was New year and of course they were closed that day. as well. I realize it was the middle of the holidays but I've never heard of anyone closing the day before the New Year. As far as feeling welcomed into the store and the friendliness of the employee they were seriously lacking in that regard. However they do carry some really neat cards for all occasions along with other little gifts . Pricing is higher than USPS and UPS. As far as going back for any services they do offer , I'll take my business somewhere else.

More instances of lost or stolen mail than i care to list. I currently have an ongoing…read moreinvestigation against them for opening and destroying two packages on the same day, worth over $400.the packages came from different sides of the country. One box was torn open on the side the contents smashed, then out back in the box. The other was torn open, the entire end of the box removed, the contents taken out and unwrapped, then smashed and stuffed back into the box with the crumpled up wrapping. When i spoke with the manager, I offered pictures. He refused them. Said he would talk to the carrier, who of course lied and said there was no damage when he delivered the packages. Later received a call from another manager who stated that the carrier documented that the packages were damaged. So who was lying? Finally decided its time to look into pressing charges for mail tampering and see if i can get them to pay the total cost of the items they destroyed, and hopefully find out who went theough my packages. Now my wife's new drivers license has been stolen out of the mail twice. Shes having to file a police report to get her DL number changed. These people are awful.

It's not a reflection of the nice lady working, but the manager should make sure things are being taken care of in the front of the house. I've walked out 3 times while waiting in line over the past month, each while waiting almost 15 min and the line barely moves. Not sure why I keep coming back.
