I'm here at least once a week, sometimes more to deliver packages and every morning that I come here, there's an unbelievably long line literally to the door and when I walk in, I feel annoyed because of it. Perhaps the angry energy that other patrons give off affects me as well. Usually that long line is for picking up mail & packages. Some days, the line is long and their door is closed, and other days I guess it's a little exhausting to have to find all that mail for people. There are usually 2-3 people at the front desk area, and only one of them actually had a happy demeanor. I wish I could remember their names but the female with long black hair never smiles. Ever. The, I believe, Chinese man is pleasant. And the Filipino man is always happy and smiling. Their lines are always long and the wait agitates people, so I hope they can find a way to speed things up. This post office is located a few miles from my home. Every time I visit this location, they are super busy. They always have plenty of staff working, it is just that there is always a lot of people sending packages etc. I advise anyone who needs to go to this location to allow 30 to 40 minutes to send their package off. NOBODY likes going to the Post Office and this location is the poster child as to why. Oh my God, this is the USPS from HELL! The employees are SO SLOW, the customers are even slower. They are always out of Priority Mail boxes. Their excuse? "We put them out and people take more than they should." Um, okay, so ORDER MORE BOXES for your customers! Need a change of address form? Good luck! Their response? "We don't got no more, try another location." This location does NOT process passport applications so don't waste your time. And make sure you get in the correct line when you walk in; there's often a separate line for "non monetary transactions." Mail pick-up lines stretch out the door while 3 employees stand at their stations with no customers. Employees simply walk away from their registers and disappear into the back room for 10 minutes. if you live in the 89178 zip code area, the mail gets stolen out of our community mailbox at least once a week. someone has a master key to open up the back and they steal all the mail and packages. post office is aware. They will not change the master key as it opens many boxes in this zip code area. This has been going on for the 4 years I have lived in this zip code area. I have a friend whose zip code is 89123 and also someone has a master key to her cluster box. This is a county wide problem and I had to rent a p o box and pay to have my mail put in it. The problem is according to the gentleman I filed a complaint with at the postal service informed me if the mail is scanned and shows up on your informed delivery site at the post office , it has gone thru the processing center which scans it and then distributes to the post office responsible for your mail delivery. The day my last credit card was stolen, it went thru processing center and he told me it made it to my post office. None of my seven pieces of mail including the credit card was delivered. The gentleman I filed the complaint with suspected a postal employee was involved and referred my complaint to the office of the inspector general. They police the postal employee's. When I went to pay for the p o box and pick up keys, I spoke to an employee that knows it's a problem within their office, and can't understand why they put the good job they have at risk. Probably because there aren't any cameras to monitor them. I've had numerous credit cards stolen and used the same day it was suppose to be delivered. I know my regular mailman is not involved as he is the one who told me he stopped delivering when 3 times in 3 weeks it was complate empty when he opened it and he was on vacation when this took place. Just last week, I had all my mail including mail order prescriptions, and packages stolen. Why should I have to pay for a p o box rental when the post office is responsible for the safe and secure delivery of the mail. Why won't they change the locks. They don't have any money within their budget to pay for them. I'm filing a complaint in Washington DC with the representative from Nevada to send an inquiry to the USps. Im sure I'm not the only one going thru this. I'm not allowed to put up a mailbox on my home and delivered. Why is that.? Im still waiting for a response. Not a fan of going to post offices, this location doesn't change my perspective either. Waited for what seems like forever to pick up a package from there, which was expected. What frustrated me at the time was that it took 3 employees to find our package because there was a lot of miscommunication amongst the staff. It's a very convenient location but the parking isn't the best. I've gotten lucky the many times that I've gone there but there have been a few occasions that I've had to see cars circle around just to get a parking spot. It's also unfortunate that there are people that resort to creating their own parking spot because it gets crazy busy there and there isn't enough marked stalls to accommodate. read more

The VA send their prescriptions through the USPS to my residence every month. I get a tracking notification they are delivered and they are not there. I called & it asks if you want to use their on-line tool that walks you through tracking & reporting while you stay on the phone. Its actually nice when it works. Well, it's not working now but what is happening is the prescriptions are lost and this is the 3rd time in a row it has happened. I've tried to get a hold of them & I know they are extremely busy but I can't resolve the lost mail. The VA suggests I file a police report as they could be stolen. Before I do this I hope to be able to get ahold of the post office for them to do their due diligence but after 3 days of trying, it's a no go & I run a risk of having a seizure due to not receiving them. Wondered if anyone else is having this issue in Las Vegas. My mail is delivered to a secure mailbox and one can only assume if it has happened more than once then they are being stolen. A rating of 0 is most appropriate for this post office. I have lived in this apartment for 16 months and have never gotten my own mail. I cannot get my new credit cards, car title and other urgent, necessary paperwork. All my mail gets returned with "VACANT" written on it. I have gone to the post office in person and was told that I cannot speak to a supervisor or the postmaster. I have left messages with the clerks to give to the supervisor and nobody ever contacts me back. When I ask the clerks what the supervisor's name is their response is "I don't know". If it is against the law to take someone's mail, then it is also against the law for them to not deliver my mail. read more

They lost a package my grandmother sent me from out of state and never figured it out. I went in to complain that it said my package was delivered and wasn't in my mailbox. Apparently I was speaking to a manger that got me in and out and said she would call me to let me know where it was or what happened to it. I never heard anything again. And today everything was going to plan with my delivery then all of a sudden it says they're sending it back to the sender. As far as a Post office is concerned, this one is pretty good. I dropped in today to mail off a birthday card to my mom as this location is super close to my place. The parking lot was all full at 9 am so it was hard to find a parking spot. The inside is pretty small compared to the one on Sunset I usually go to. But it has everything you'd need in a post office. There was already a huge line when I got there, but there was 4 people working so the line moved very quickly. The person that helped me didn't seem too friendly and didn't make any effort to make any conversation with me, but that's okay. The self service machine was out of service, so that was a negative since several people including me tried to use that as it would have been much faster. All the priority boxes were stocked though. Also the common areas were cleaned and free of trash. Will come again soon. read more

I've been receiving mail and packages with no problem for over a year now but yesterday a package should arrive as the informed delivery showed but after checking on it during the time that it was supposed to be delivered it says delivered in/at the mailbox then after 7 mins it was marked as addressee unknown to return to sender and even my mails that should be delivered that day were not delivered but the rest of the mails for my family were delivered. How come the rest of the mails for the address are delivered except all of my mail and a package were not? It is the first time this happened so I tried calling USPS but no one picks up the phone and there's always no available agent to answer me. I have been sending and receiving mail and parcels for over 50 years now. Never have I had to worry about it. But so far 5 times now In less than 6 months I've had both packages and mail delayed by being rerouted needlessly or lost altogether. I don't know what has happened to our post system but they need to get it sorted out. Example. My mail arrived at a nearby facility, close enough to have driven to pick up my Mail in around 30 minutes tops. Early morning. By 10 am it was on its way to another facility nearby. About 9 miles from the original arrival. Then for some reason was rooted to another state ! Then started back to the facility near by!!! Seriously ? I don't know when the Marx brothers started running the post. But since the prices began increasing steadily the service has been declining. Pandemic or no. I worked for a industry considered essential. We figured a way to make it work. But somehow the post can't. I have been to this office twice. Both times were to just drop off a package. I didn't really interact with staff so I can't comment on the service. It seems a little dirty inside but most post offices do. The parking situation is bad. One car was on the curbe and all the spots were taken so I had to circle. I ship a lot and while I can have packages picked up, about 25% of the time they fail to pick-up so I take packages in when I'm already out and about. I have no complaints about my regular mail carrier. My complaint is with two packages that have been lost in the last three months. This is not acceptable. I feel as customers we need to take a stand and contact our congressional office. Put pressure on them to initiate pressure on the Postal Service as well as call the local news channel and complain and maybe something will get done but I doubt it. when the first package was lost the Postal Service claimed to have delivered it at the front porch there was no package delivered on my front porch. There was no activity on my ring camera, so I assume that is was stolen by a postal employee or misdelivered. the supervisor assured me that doesn't happen but clearly she doesn't read the news because you hear about it all the time . postal employees stealing credit cards and what not and it's every day, so maybe she's just in denial. To top it off when I called consumer affairs for the post office and spoke to Anita Hudson she said "you can notify the company who sent it and get a replacement." No DUH That's not the point. And then Anita made a stupid comment and said it looks like it was left on the sidewalk. What in the world. Still waiting for the 2nd package to arrive. it was supposedly overnight mail and of course there's no updates on it other than it left the post office and was scheduled for delivery June 12th. I will have to contact my local news channel if not delivered today. This has a very important document inside and if it's lost, well sure it can be replaced but is the idiot postal service going to pay for a replacement, I highly doubt it. In a business that is basically responsible for handling mail, packages, etc. which probably the greater majority of such utilize tape of some sort, I was very disappointed for two employees to not help me with a piece of tape to seal a package. One of them which actually told me "no, we don't have tape here." WHAT?!?! Review is for post office and delivery service: I really wish I could give zero stars for this post office. I work from home & operate an online business, meaning I solely rely on USPS, pre-shipping slips online, and thankfully our complex has a designated area to drop-off packages for easy pick-ups. Which is so much easier for me bc seriously, I am not running to a mailing office to drop off multiple packages on separate days. Roughly 95% of the time all packages are picked up the same day I drop it off in the bin. The other 5%? When the mail man/lady decides they are lazy to bother doing their job?! Oh and don't even bother calling or going into the post office to find answers bc 10 outta 10 you'll get no help, put on hold, or get an attitude. I had always received my package in great shape and on time as well as pick-ups on time. Until recently. First was a couple months ago when I was expecting a package worth $200 for some tools I needed for my business. Tracking # says "Delivered in mailbox". I check the mailbox twice that day (4PM & 9PM) not there. Check the next day and still not there and asked the front office and wasn't there either. Headed to the post office at 10AM bc the mailman left a note in our mailbox saying "sorry we missed you. Package is available for pick up at post office after 830AM" & as I was heading out the gate, I see the post office van parked out front. So I figured "okay maybe now he's delivery my package." The missed delivery slip was for my boyfriend and needed his signature so we figured let's go get his package first (btw, we were home all f-n day because we had an appointment coming to check our place out. So no way in hell can they say they missed us when we clearly did not have any of the lazy post people fn knocking our door!) We get to the post office, loooong line for pick-up and surprisingly only TWO people were working. Go figure for a fkng place that has like what? 3-4 registers HA) Got my boyfriend's package and decided to ask if my package was there, too. Lady tried looking for it and even gave her my tracking #. She said "it says it's been delivered. Says right here". Well obviously it's not or else I wouldn't be asking right?! She says I can go on the website blah blah blah claim lost package blah blah blah. Heads back home and the van was gone and checked my mailbox again and what do you know?! ITS NOT THERE! Then I realized "hmm it'd be a big a$$ box and it CANT fit in the mailbox and 2) for bigger boxes usually the post man will either leave in patio, knock, or leave at front door or 3) tracking number will say where they left it at "in mailbox/front desk". So I called the post office again and the same lady I spoke with answers my call. Left me on hold for 20 minutes listening to some pathetic a$$ elevator music. I explained to her a post office van was just at our place at 10AM, gave her the address etc. "Ma'am are you sure bc it says here that we have not sent anyone out at that specific location yet." Well sh*t I might need glasses then huh?! I told her to look at that tracking number and it says my package was delivered at 9:05PM. Her stupid answer "I'm sorry did you say 9PM?" Yeaaa sherlock! I don't see anyone delivering that late here from y'all. She made it sound like I must be checking the wrong mailbox, hallucinating, or don't know how tf to read a tracking number?! I asked her exactly how is the process for delivering a package. "We do not scan an item unless it has been delivered to the address. That's how the tracking is updated" no FN WAY! Really?! So my package WAS delivered and decided to go for a stroll out on the strip and hit up a few bars?! Wtf!? At this point my blood pressure was sky rocketing and decided to check the front office AGAIN around 1PM (way before the mailman makes its round to fill up our mailboxes). And TADA, my package was there and got in earlier in the day (NOT the day as the tracking says it was). So guess what? I'm sure the lazy worker that day decided to scan it, and dropped it off after. Pfft. In the last 3 months, we received TWO packages that were meant for our UPSTAIRS neighbor. Clearly our numbers ON the door, you know where they literally just left our neighbor's packages.
