What could improve? Everything. I come in at around 4:48 pm to send out a package. This room is packed so I go to the next room over (less than 10 feet). I start filling out my package info and I look up and this door is locked. Minutes before it's 5 PM. I ask numerous employees to help and tell them I was here well before 5. None of them make any attempt to help me and say there's nothing they can do despite me being here before 5. They're refusing to help me or take my business. Garbage employees and garbage service.

The waiting lines are insane. I've been several times and I talk about 45-60 min wait lines. Today I came for tracking for shipping is paid $85!!!!!! for but has had no tracking info so suspiciously load and after waiting in line I was simply told to wait and the pick up line, another wait. When it was finally my turn at the pick up line the same person Diamond opened the window who just sent me to this line!! To then hear there's no tracking info and I "have to wait a few more days". I suggested they add tracking to the pick up window list so people don't wait twice in line. No shame they have here.

Very friendly here! Was impressed with the positive the employee, and helpful both with me and the previous customer. Nice to see!

I had a pleasant time, the lines moved, the staff was courteous even early in the morning. The convenience of this location is great. I like the fact that there is a drive up area right in front so you can drop off mail and you don't have to get out of the car. Ample parking is always a plus. Oh yeah, and clear box tape rolls are $3.99 lol.

These were supposed to be forwarded

From the beginning of the interaction, the male employee was flat, unresponsive, and lacked any effort to provide reassurance or basic courtesy. When Supervisor Cecelia approached, her tone and body language were similarly cold and detached. I explained that I have already experienced stolen credit cards and personal documents due to mail theft. While I understand that there may be limited options beyond filing online or purchasing a P.O. Box, there was no attempt to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation or to communicate with even minimal empathy. When residents are dealing with identity theft and financial harm, professionalism includes not just providing information, but delivering it with basic human consideration. The complete lack of warmth or de-escalation from both employees made an already stressful situation worse.

It was a few weeks out when I had placed the reservation in the online portal though. The appointment time was at 3:00, but I was called early! The process was fairly simple, however, payment methods included limited options. The team member mentioned that I could visit a bank nearby and come back to finalize the paperwork process. After I got back, it was around 3:30 and I had put my reservation ID back on the check in paperwork at the front of the US post office location. I only needed to wait another 15 minutes until my name was called again. Service was fast! Hours for this location are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M until 9:00 P.M and 8:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M on Saturday. This US Post office is closed on Sunday. Full retail services such as stamps, shipping, PO Box access, and passport acceptance and photo services are available at this location. There were a lot of parking spots available here too. It was easy to get into, one way direction, and back out to Sunset road. I'd recommend this location if you're looking for US Post office services!

UPBEAT AND FRIENDLY POST OFFICE SERVICE!!…read more Just mailing a couple things off and there was no line and the service I got was top-notch quality from Khalloni! She is definitely on point with kindness, smiling, bubbly personality, and super helpful. I spent a total of maybe three minutes in there tops. It was the fastest I've ever been in and out of a post office. They have a section for cards and packages like every other post office. Everything looked nice and neat. Affordable mailing. I mean everything goes up within inflation so prices vary. Definitely the best service I've ever received from a post office.

Who would think a post office would not be able to make a return label for a package? The person at the window also refused to make a regular label for my box because I had not fully taped it yet-I brought tape with me to finish after getting a return label which she couldn't do. The line was about 15 people long which is fine, it happens because there were only 2 windows open. There was a woman at one window who was chatting it up with the employee as she was browsing for stamps she might want in a large plastic bin, the kind you use to store stuff. By this time the line was literally out to the front doors. Several people in line suggested letting her browse stamps off to the side and let the line move and the employee said no, she can hold us all up as long as she wants. She bought $2.80 worth of stamps after all that. The upside of my wasted hour was that I tried Pirate Ship when I got home. Not only was it easy to use but I saved several dollars and was able to print a return label which does not get charged until the person on the other end actually uses it. In addition, the chat support is super friendly and helpful unlike the post office.

"Where Letters Go to Die: A Gulag Review"…read more I arrive at 5:00 AM, expecting to be first in line. Instead, I find a queue wrapped around the building like the bread line outside a 1962 Minsk grocery store. Babushkas in housecoats. Grown men clutching Priority Mail boxes like they're smuggling defense secrets. Nobody speaks. Nobody smiles. Somewhere, a crow caws ominously. The building does not open at 8:30 AM. The building considers opening at 8:30 AM, deliberates on it internally, consults the Politburo, and then -- MAYBE -- cracks the door at 8:37, releasing a smell like a meat locker that lost power during a heat wave. I do not know what they are storing back there. I do not want to know. I suspect it predates the Cold War. Once inside, you are assigned a number and a fate. Speak out of turn, sigh too loudly, or make prolonged eye contact with an employee, and you are sent to the back of the line -- or, if the postal worker's mood is sufficiently sour that day, to what longtime patrons here simply refer to as "the Gulag Line," a mythical second queue that may or may not loop through a supply closet and back out into the parking lot. I came here today for one reason: to find out what happened to FOUR -- count them, FOUR -- letters I mailed over a month ago. Two to comrades in New Jersey. Two here in Vegas. My poor babushka has not received her money. My vendors are calling me daily, demanding payment, assuming I have simply vanished into the Nevada desert like a man who owed the wrong people money. I have become, through no fault of my own, an international letter-smuggling fugitive in the eyes of my own family. The clerk -- no name tag, obviously, they don't want to be identified by the tribunal later -- informed me with the warmth of a Siberian wind that "mail sometimes takes time" and that there was "nothing to track." Comrade, I don't need reassurance. I need Interpol. I need a forensic mail accountant. I need to know if my letters are lost, stolen, or currently being read aloud at a KGB holiday party. Pros: Excellent cardio from standing for three hours. Free character development. Cons: My rubles -- er, dollars -- are missing. So is my faith in the postal system. So, possibly, is an election somewhere. Do svidaniya, Russell Road Post Office. I will see you again next month, same line, same silence, same suspicious meat smell. Not because I want to. Because I have no choice. None of us do. 1 star. Would not defect again, but have no other option.
