This US post office is the closest to my house in the Sky Canyon area. I wish they would open up one in Centennial, because this is somewhat far every time I come especially the last year it's always busy and a line out the door. There is not enough workers to take care of everyone that comes in to deal with their shipments, especially around the afternoon. Prices are constantly going up. I do believe they have walk-ins on certain days for passports. The last time I was there, they also mentioned that stamps are going up next month in July. No longer reliable as they once were. Dropped of package at 11:30am on Friday July 3, obviously no service on Saturday July 4th, but why did they neglect the process the day before the holiday? Dead the entire weekend and finally the package began to movie late Monday afternoon. Holiday? Yes, but sat the entire day before, surely with the many others I saw. This location is further from my home, but historically much more prompt and professional than my main location. USPS charges more and service and consideration is way less. Box on May 18, 2026, submitted multiple Change of Address requests, completed the required identity verification steps, and have spent the past month consistently checking my P.O. Box and following up with USPS regarding missing mail. Since June 2-3, I have gone to this location almost every day to check my box and ask whether any mail is being held for me. I have received some forwarded mail, but many important pieces of mail that should have arrived have not appeared. I have repeatedly asked for clarification regarding my Change of Address requests, which verification was completed, which address was processed, where my mail is being routed, and whether anything has been returned to senders. I have not received clear answers. I was recently informed there may be multiple P.O. Boxes or conflicting information associated with my account, creating even more confusion. I need USPS to explain where my mail has been going since May 18, why my forwarding requests have not been properly handled, and whether my mail has been returned or improperly routed. I finally contacted USPS Customer Service and requested an investigation. During that call, while I was explaining the ongoing frustration, stress, and concern caused by not receiving my mail, the representative I spoke with was chuckling and laughing throughout the conversation. I felt dismissed and did not feel that my concerns were treated with the seriousness, professionalism, or empathy expected when dealing with someone's personal and potentially sensitive mail. I also want to address concerns regarding my experiences at the location. I have observed behavior from some front counter employees that felt unprofessional, including inappropriate music and joking around while assisting customers. I also encountered an individual assisting at the counter who was not clearly identifiable as USPS staff, which raised concerns about professionalism and customer trust. I have an active USPS customer service case (#89707764), and I am requesting a full investigation, accountability, and a refund for services that I have paid for but have not been able to properly use. This is not a complaint based on one interaction. This is after an entire month of repeatedly attempting to resolve a serious issue involving my personal mail and receiving no clear explanation. I hope USPS management reviews this matter and provides answers regarding my mail, my P.O. Box services, and the handling of my Change of Address requests. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! The staff here is extremely rude -- especially the bald lady at the front ‼ I showed up 15 minutes before closing and waited my turn, only for her to suddenly tell me they were "closed," even though there were still 5 minutes left ... and the clock she was using was 10 minutes fast . She refused to help me but kept helping the people behind me (who ended up being her own family‼). When I questioned her, she got loud, started cussing at me, and even threw out racist comments . This is the post office that covers my neighborhood. It's odd that my packages keep getting marked as delivered to my mailbox, but the packages are never in my mailbox. One package was "located" and thrown onto my patio. Now, I'm missing another package. I've reached out multiple times through the website and trying to call. No one will answer either of the phone numbers I have for this location. It rings endlessly. No one is responding to the reports or contact I've done through the website. Either my mail carrier is delivering my packages to another address, or my mail carrier is keeping people's packages. If I could give negative -5 Stars I would. THE WORST POST OFFICE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. Unfortunately this office is most near my apartments and who I have to deal with. Every time I've came here each employee acts like I'm bothering them, or they can't stand to be there or help anyone, you can feel it when you walk in, and hear it in the harshness & rude tone they speak to everyone with. I lost my key, they don't answer the phone I've tried calling while in line waiting and it doesn't ring there so had to come over to ask a simple question. Was charged $40 on 10/26 around 3pm. Was informed by my mail woman she didn't have any new locks on hand and took my # to text me when they were in & she could change it out. Found my key the next morning. Come to the office to try and get my refund for $40 and cancel the new key/lock. Was told that I couldn't get a refund. I'm sitting here waiting for a "supervisor" for 28 minutes now. *UPDATE - supervisor came out, asked Damon why he didn't just proceed with the refund? This is for the garside location beware these people do not care about your mail or any sort of procedures that they have agreed to do as far as their job goes they released my IRS packet that had arrived for me to my former landlord who signed my name fraudulently I have informed delivery they have my ID on file they needed to check ID since this was a sensitive package they obviously did not he signed my name and let him take my package this is the second time this has happened at this location I went in to complain they referred me a phone number I called and spoke to a manager who is incredibly rude unprofessional and a little racist I believe I would literally not buy a house in this service area to avoid all of the massive problems I could see happening if this was my regular post office thank God I moved out of that area but I will be following up with a postmaster general and anybody else I can to correct this problem so careless and no customer service skills zero I'm considering legal action to force them to take accountability. Well if your like me and can't make it to the post office right at what ever moment you need to might as well cut your loses because no and I mean no answers the phone it's like there allergic to picking up that damn phone u have been calling since they opened today And then my mail carrier tried to tell me he didn't see my redelivery submitted even though I put that in the day I got the "hey sorry we missed you"tag which was 4 days ago but he dropped off ridiculous mail but the important things he missed or failed to double check his mailbox. This stop is usually a convenient errand after work (if the relief postman skipped us on picking up our outgoing mail, or if website orders came in after the postman visits). I like this one because there is a handled drop box inside for already posted mail/ packages- I am not sure if oversize boxes can fit, though; the average size box I usually use is 6 x 6 x 6 unless I use the Priority Flat Rate boxes or mailers (we use our Pitney Bowes machine at our office). There is also a separate slot for metered flats (letters and manila envelopes). There is a self-service kiosk to the left side. Also, this side, is where the free USPS priority shipping boxes are located. I usually don't stop at the counter (on the right side). My husband has stopped here on saturday mornings; we are usually inside the car. This one is not the busiest location in Spring Valley, so that is also why I prefer going to this one after work or during weekends. There is usually about 5-10 customers when I've visited. (The Rainbow/ Spring Mtn. one is a madhouse.) The parking lot is a good sized one too. Unlike the Rainbow/Spring Mountain location, there is no drop box outside. The only issue with this one is there is often a homeless person asking for handouts. I ignore anyone doing that anyway, so I am just giving you all a warning. read more

Mood: 1hr before closing-- in a rush Had to make a quick stop to mail off some important papers. I initially pulled into the employee parking where it looked like a warehouse. One of the drivers was very short when I asked for directions to the entrance (I'm new to the area) & was a little rude. However, right when I walked in. I stood in line there was an older mail who help assist me and was very kind. As the line moved there was another AA woman with short hair who offered help. (Really wish I got their names) It's my turn to check out and Jean was very pleasant and helpful & funny even at the ending and very busy part of her shift. I don't have many great experiences with Post offices as most workers do seem very annoyed. As I could somewhat understand. Well you'd think standing around at the post office would be a drag BUT because of an employee named Malu she made it very easy for me to get in and out she helped me wrap my package perfectly with bubble wrap and showed me a shortcut mailing it easily to where you don't have to wait in line also. Horrible customer service from supervisor and rep, Dwytt! I have a P.O. Box at this location. I've had it since the end of May. It is now the end of July. I forwarded my mail also at the end of May to my P.O. Box at the post office. Filled out the change of address form, I even received a confirmation in the mail at my old address that my mail should be forwarded. From the end of May to now, the carriers have been delivering my mail at the old address and NOT to my P.O. Box at the post office. Confused!!! I was mailed an IRS check for my income tax and it was returned bc the POST OFFICE COULD NOT DELIVER IT. Again, CONFUSED! How does mail that comes to a post office that I pay for a P.O. Box at NOT deliver my mail? I came in today to talk to the supervisor, woman of color. She had an attitude, no customer service skills, lowered her mask, just to tell me, " I am not responsible for the carriers." She did not empathize, apologize or show any concern for the fact that I am missing an important piece of mail that could be beneficial for the current pandemic we are in. I was waiting on this check, it was mailed July 7th! I came to the post office on July 15th and spoke to a gentleman who took a photo of my ID and said he left a note with the carrier to make sure my mail was forwarded. I kind of understand why this particular USPS has a lot of bad reviews...but this place isn't that bad. They have good, friendly staff that are able to eagerly help you. My only complaint is that they keep the doors open 24 hours a day (for the kiosk or deposit boxes) but that enables the homeless people to come in and basically camp out at the location. They could probably have security to prevent this as now I won't let my wife use this location after hours because I worried about her being attacked or harassed for money. read more

The government is a failing business that never seems to disappoint. You can come here an hour before close and wait in line, still waiting because of people in front of you and when it gets to 5 PM they make everyone leave. Of course we are all frustrated that it was taking everyone so long at the window but we can't help that someone takes 30 minutes to pick up their package that's just how it goes. Do not come here even two hours before closing, there's a chance you won't make it to the window and then you will get turned away. Very frustrating to leave your job early to get to the post office well before close just for them to close on you. As people were dropping off packages someone behind the counter was yelling and people weren't friendly. One of the busier post offices in Las Vegas. There's really no good time of the day on when the line can be busy, where you're waiting in line for ten minutes or where there is no line barely at all. The usually have enough postal clerks to move the line at a steady pace. Sometimes it can be the customers themselves that don't know basic postal stuff that can hold up the lines. I mean BASIC stuff. How does someone not know how to address an envelope? And sometimes there can be the occasional homeless person sitting out front begging. There is one main postal clerk that is there on a regular basis that really knows his stuff. Just don't annoy him. read more
