Where do I start...I applied for my passport but it was never delivered. The UPSP tracking system shows it arrived at League City Post Office, was sorted and then out for delivery, but it never shows as delivered and it's been over 10 days. Shouldn't there be a notification internally to them that something is wrong?? I try to call and the phone number I find on the internet and it appears to be wrong (fast busy) so I go down to the PO, wait 30 minutes in line, they have no idea where it could be...Diedra takes my number and she will search for it and call me back, she doesn't. I had asked for a correct phone number just in case I don't hear and she gave me the number to the Mercedes dealership instead! In looking at the physical post office, it's a mess in both front & back with packages all over the counter where anyone can walk off with them. No wonder they lose things. The post office needs an overhaul or they deserve to go out of business. read more

I hate to break the bad ratings, because I harbor an innate distrust of all things governmental. However, I had a great experience with one of the employees of this post office. I ordered supplies from Franklin Covey and 12 days later, still no package. I phoned FC and they told me my package had been delivered November 6 - a week ago now. I called the post office in League City. The line was busy at first, but I tried again and the phone was answered by a very helpful gentleman. He confirmed my package had been scanned as delivered November 6. I, to my discredit, assumed it had then been stuffed into the incorrect apartment mailbox, but the gentleman very nicely said, "I can't imagine that anything you ordered from Franklin Covey could fit into one of those apartment mailboxes." Hmmm, good point. He suggested I re-check with my apartment office. I thanked him for his help, went off to do just that. Well, to my chagrin, my own apartment office gave my package to someone else, who discovered he couldn't use my specific planning pages after all, and returned it to the office. (Snarkiness intended, as whoever took the package opened it before they returned it.) So for all my presumption regarding the postal service, this employee was nice, polite, helpful, AND my package was delivered correctly. read more

Horrible delivery service. Mail is always in the wrong mailboxes in my neighborhood. Packages say delivered or being delivered for days but aren't actually delivered. And if you try to call, you never get an answer. I have tried calling and always a busy signal. read more

Horrible service! I leave in an apartment complex in League City. No matter how much I complain the carrier repeatedly takes all packages to the apartment office instead of using the package boxes at our mail center. No matter how small the package & if it will fit in your normal box...it still gets taken to the apartment office. Also I have a package that the post office has had for 4 days and have yet to deliver. However I can't get anyone to answer the phone at the post office so I can't find out what happened. I work and don't get off until after they close....so how can I get this resolved. read more

I would give zero stars if I could.. I've lived here 26 years and have never had problems until this year. On November 27, 2015, I requested a mail hold for the time period of 12/17/15-12/31/15 online and received a confirmation # and a confirmation email. I also requested the accumulated mail be delivered on 12/31/15. On 1/5/16, we still had not received the accumulated mail so I went to the post office. I spoke to a person at the counter and the supervisor...they both told me the carrier said she had delivered the accumulated mail (so, apparently that proves she did). However, I have not received it. I also have a slip that they tried to deliver a package on 12/24/15 (during the hold period), so I signed it to allow them to deliver it and put it back in my mailbox (on the 31st)...it is STILL in my box (1/6/16). The supervisor took my name and number to call me after he "investigates" this. But, he did tell me that he had several other things he needed to do before he would be able to check for my mail. I also received an email from a company that I had ordered a shirt from with a tracking number that said it had been delivered on the 18th (while my mail was on hold)...and, no, I did not receive it. This is not the first time this has happened. We are constantly getting mail for our neighbors and not receiving items with tracking numbers that say they have been delivered. If I had an alternative to this post office, I would absolutely use it. read more

The League City Post Office is the worst and its always disappointing to me when something has to come from them vs. UPS or FedEx. Last night at 8:47PM I received a text saying they attempted to deliver a package but there was no secure place to leave it. I was sitting in my house - not an apartment, and no one attempted anything. This has happened many times in the past. I work and there is no convenient time for me to go to the post office and I shouldn't have to if they were doing their job. I have lived in this house for 31 years. During that time they have managed to deliver my mail to the wrong address and deliver other's mail to me over and over. They are careless and lazy. They don't want to make an attempt to get out of their truck to do the right thing as they proved yet again last night. The government needs to shut down the PO all together and save money there. These are typical government workers who feel way too secure in their jobs to do it well. Sorry to the people who try but I haven't found many in this post office over the 31 years of living here. Thanks League City Post Office for inconveniencing me yet again. read more

I went to pick up a package that was sent from another states post office, and was informed that there was an additional charge for postage due to the size of the box. The other post office made the mistake, but this post office was trying to blame it on the sender, and force me to pay the significant difference. All in all, they admitted that it was probably a postal service overlook that caused the problem. They stated that someone didn't do their job. It is unfortunate that no one could make a decision to do the right thing, and hold the postal service accountable for the mistake, without worrying about the almighty dollar. Pass the buck to the consumer......Typical government bureaucracy.....Thanks for nothing. Fed Ex, UPS, or any other service seems to be better than this. It is really sad that all of the other reviews reflect this one. What happened to good old customer service, and the customer is always right. read more
