Posted self-service hours

Why aren't you opening the self-service lobby at 7:30am like it's posted and like it's been for many years? I came today 1/24/23 and yesterday after 7:30am and both front and back doors were still locked. Not much to ask for those of use who have PO Boxes and have to work in the morning. No way I can be back before you close everything at 5:00pm so this is the only time I have.

They close their doors 30 mins prior to actual close time. You're better off going to the one in South Pasadena.

Great place to do business with. I had a Post Office box for years. Good customer service. When you need some postal needs done.

No auto machines. Just the slowest, saddest employees on the planet. I know it's a cliche but this branch is exceptionally horrific.

He was super helpful and guided me through the whole process and even found me the cheapest ways to send my ebay items.

They have a separate pick-up window right next to the kiosk -- just ring the bell and someone actually comes out within minutes. Love that! The location is still the same -- clean enough, plenty of parking, and close to home. It could use a little more lighting at the counter area, but overall, service feels smoother and friendlier than before. I'm still steering clear of renewing my passport here (let's not relive that fiasco ), but for drop-offs and pick-ups, it's been great lately. Nice to see this USPS stepping up its game -- maybe there's hope for the postal service after all!

Probably the worst post office I've been to. Rather than looking for my missing mail they argued with me about it. Not apologetic; they don't have any accountability or take any responsibility. They lost over half my mail while I had it on hold for a week when I was on vacation. And had the nerve to try to gaslight me by just saying I didn't receive anything else... but I get emails daily of what mail will be delivered so I have proof that I had more Mail than they gave me. After requesting that they check again 3x and speaking to the supervisor they finally found ONE piece of mail that I needed.

I live in a front house our mail always ends up everywhere but inside my mailbox. My address is clearly visible on the front of my house as well as my mailbox and still problems occur. The most upsetting part is when two different packages of mine never get delivered and yet I receive a DELIVERED confirmation on my cellphone. Now I have to rely on honest and kind neighbors to forward my packages to me. Why does this keep happening? There are standards and testing that are given before working for a government job and yet this type of things continue. Please have some accountability!

The 2nd time, it was because I put box tape around my label and the guy told me to buy the labels they have because if it rains it will ruin the ink, honestly are they telling me people don't have a roof over their porch? Today, he gives me a form saying they can only scan 3 labels in. Then he points at the camera and tells me the camera up there verifies only 3 items has to be scanned." Wtf? Seriously! This guy is older with a mullet hair style, white and grumpy. This is not a lie, no where in the form said he can scan in 3 items and that I have to leave it on the counter. There was only more person in line behind me. This guy must have been working at that location trying give false policy.

When it was my turn, I explained that I had just lost my home in the Eaton Canyon fires and was there to update my address. Since my driver's license had my old address, I provided the only proof of address I had left from the paperwork that survived the fire. She refused to accept it. When I explained my situation, her response was, "I do not care!"--cold, unempathetic, and completely unacceptable. At a time when I was already dealing with unimaginable loss, her lack of compassion and professionalism made the situation even worse. This was truly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I hope management takes this seriously because no one should be treated this way, especially in such difficult circumstances.

My neighbor give me one of my mail, then next day, I find my magazine on top of mailbox & who knows where my package is even tho their system said they delivered it in my mailbox area. Never got it. I have complaint to supervisor, she said she will called me back for status of my package & still waiting, it's been 3 days. This is one of the worst post office ever. They should fired the temporary mailman cause again one of my mail is missing again. Everytime they have a temporary mailman who does the mail, they are careless & misplace my mail. I had 4 packages missing even tho the system said it's been delivered in my mailbox. I also got a empty box cause someone in post office took my stuff & tape it up. It's like nobody at post office takes responsibility & their attitude is oh well too bad. If I could rate them a zero I would. It used to be good before but nowadays they just hire anyone. They just got more money from government, raise their prices & their service sucks & getting worst. I got an email to do a survey on my case, can't do it cause the supervisor never call me regarding my missing package. I'm waiting one more day before I do the survey & it's not going to be good.

Thanks to Adam Schiff, Glendale City Council, and the Glendale Historical Society for fighting to preserve this Italian Renaissance-styled landmark in 2013. It's beautiful and convenient enough for renewing our passports. The online reservation system works wonderfully, and I highly recommend it over dropping in. Even with a reservation, you may still wait for a while before having your number called. Tip: Bring a book and your patience so you don't get unhinged. People actually get cray-cray in line so again, pack your patience. We were fortunate enough to have the nice, petite Asian lady help us. She's always been wonderful. The other clerk is rough around the edges and true to the disgruntled postal worker stereotype. I know it wasn't just a bad day for her. Every time I've dealt with her in the past, she's been rude. So don't take it personally if she gets under your skin--it's just her way of customer service. There are three of us and we've renewed our passports several times at this particular location in the last 5 years. Since we have history with this USPS location, I figured it's about time to share our experience candidly.
