This is a great UPS store but tbh, I've had good experiences at all of them. Rose, the owner, is super helpful and always has both counters going, while she helps with more complex things. I really appreciate that she's always got the store fully staffed, she must be pleasant to work for. It's always clean & fresh, floors vacuumed, counters clean etc. I wish there was more parking but that's not her fault. Charging $3.99 for an "email fee" to print a one-page UPS label which is $95cents is total nonsense. I drafted the email, attached the pdf label and sent it, so why do I get charged for an email that your employee is just opening and clicking print? Have some respect for your customers and stop ripping them off. read more

This location used to be fantastic, but it has taken a serious downturn since Rose hasn't been around. The current management and staff are completely missing the mark on basic customer service. Lately, the older Slavic lady (multiple times) working here has been locking the front doors up to 20 minutes before the official closing time. It's incredibly frustrating for people who just need a quick trip to access their PO Boxes, only to find themselves locked out while the business is legally supposed to be open. Because of this, a line of frustrated customers inevitably forms outside on the sidewalk. What makes it worse is that the staff can clearly see the crowd waiting outside, yet they make absolutely zero effort to come to the door, acknowledge anyone, or explain why they are shutting down early. Leaving paying customers stranded outside when the posted hours on the door say they should still be open is completely unacceptable. Management needs to address this immediately. Bring back the standard of service we had under Rose. read more

This is the WORST UPS store around. The people who work there don't have a clue what they're doing. I have tried to go there to do various things over the years since j live near by and every time has been a bust. Most recently I went there to notarize two documents and it was a fiasco. I left without doing it. It's expensive so they lost my business. The drive to the La Canada UPS store is totally worth the hassle to avoid frustration. They're great in every way that the Eagle Rock store fails. read more

This location is the slowest, most inefficient ups store I have ever seen. A guy was there for literally half an hour mailing one box, while the line stretched out the door. This was not a one off, it's like that every single time I've been there over the last few years, until I finally got fed up enough to bother writing this review to save other people the hassle of going g there. Sunday 4:30 pm guy with sleeve tattoos, must be working for free because he gave 0, no customer service. I wont go into detail but a " hi welcome" was waaaay to much to ask...when he handed me the receipt for my return i thanked him and he said NOTHING. This is my absolute favorite UPS store ever. The woman who runs this place is so nice and shout out to Rhine for helping me today. I brought two giant boxes with sleeping bags I had to return and it was a bit complicated. I really appreciate his help getting those two giant boxes back to amazon- lesson learned, buy in person at REI haha. The people here are really efficient and even when there's a long line it always moves quickly. Parking is easy and there are a lot of amazing restaurants like Green Dragon, Aunt Yvette's Kitchen, and Modan Ramen if you want to stop for a bite after mailing your packages. Can't go wrong here. Paid 107.30 for next day service by noon for a critically time sensitive delivery. Currently, it has been 3 days with no delivery. When I called for a refund, I was told the store has to contact corporate for them to process the refund which will take at least two weeks and then corporate will mail me a check which will take even more time. What piss poor customer service. This is my first negative experience with UPS and this policy is beyond absurd. read more

Theres is an old lady working here. When I gave her my UPS QR code, she rudely told me that I needed to seal my own package but she said she was going to make an exception (i didnt even ask her to). She processed my return and put two pieces of tape seal my package. There were clearly still openings. I told her if she can just seal the other parts and she rudely told me no this is not a free service. Then why did you offer it? How irresponsible of her?? She told me as if "since your not paying you dont get to seal it fully"? If my package gets damaged or lost, I am going to come back to this store and demand that you cover all my costs. It's an awesome UPS store, great service, efficient and conveniently located along Colorado Blvd. There is limited parking in this tiny strip mall and often packed, I always park on the street past the Thai restaurant as even curbside parking in front of this strip mall is always occupied. Anyway, It's refreshing to see professional, polite human interaction still at work - it is the main reason why this UPS Store has awesome reviews. Many companies tend to ignore the importance of great customer service, in this world where AI and machines are slowly replacing human interaction especially in big box stores (self-checkouts/scan and go) it is really great to be greeted with a smile, an ice breaker to establish relationships with your local neighborhood business. During a lengthy move to a new home we moved both our personal and business mailing address to this Eagle Rock UPS store. The manager Rose is amazing and went above and beyond to help us. The level of customer service here is outstanding and something I would not ever expect from a chain mailbox store. At other shipping stores sometimes they have a tendency to make you feel stupid if you don't understand how the machines work or all of the mailing and packing rules. I was so welcomed by Rose today. I dreaded the exchange. I was unfocused. I didn't have my act together at all. My printer had failed me. I had a gazillion transactions to execute: the fateful EBay & Amazon & AT & T returns. Who was I kidding? Rose & I & an unidentified Good Samaritan literally dragged a 41+ pound bicycle return to her bay! How wonderful is that? Thank you, Rose, for your infinite positivity. This has always been my favorite ups to go to until today. I was helped by the manager Rose and as she scanned my packet I noticed I needed "one piece of tape " in the box . She then mentioned that she will do it this one last time but next time they charge $4 to tape the box . Unbelievable when other times I have gotten tape from someone else and have never encountered this. I figured how this doesn't make any sense, since when you do a Amazon drop off you can literally take the item as is and eventually they will either have to box or pack it using "tape".
