This is a relatively small, somewhat basic US Post Office, located on Miracle Mile about a block…read morefrom Douglas. Aside from the manned counter where one can mail packages, buy stamps and obtain other standard USPS services, this location also has a section with several rows of PO boxes and a slot to drop off postage paid envelopes and small packages that's normally open 24 hours, though it's currently locked when the service counter isn't manned due to Covid. The biggest plus about this particular USPS location is the operating hours of the full-service counter, as it's staffed later than most and has some very attractive Saturday hours...It's open until 6pm through the week AND from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays. The parking situation isn't the best, as your only options are the "Park by Phone" spots along the streets or the paid parking in the garage above this post office. The 2 or 3 spots directly in front of this place are often marked valet only. That said, if already conducting business in this general area, this post office is a good alternative to the much larger (and usually busy & slow) main Coral Gables post office a few blocks away.

The ladies working there were incredibly efficient, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I had a mailing request and wasn't completely sure about the best way to send my letter, but they guided me through the process and made sure everything was done correctly. You can tell they know what they're doing and care about helping people get things right. The ladies is what makes this place cool and reliable. Another perk is the free parking in front. I really appreciated their support, it turned what could've been a confusing errand into a smooth experience. Also, a big plus that they're open on Saturdays until 2 PM, which is super convenient. Just improve the overall aspect of it and installations and it would win two additional stars.

I've been trying to call them at 305-529-6700 so far I've called more than a dozen times and after ringing for 1 minute, it disconnects the calls. It's a disgrace to see the decline in the service at this location, I guess it reflects the USPS service nationwide.

When you don't have to overnight a shipment, this is the best priced postage option. I was unable to call the local office or even get someone on the 800 number. I waited 30 minutes and no one ever answered. I took a chance and showed up. Sam looked like he was leaving and on his way home. I explained to him my situation and that my package was gonna be returned to the sender because of insufficient address, no apartment number. I was treated with zero respect and spoken to in a humiliating way in front of other customers. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If you don't want to deal with people, don't work in a customer-facing job--simple as that. We're literally paying for this service, and this is how customers are treated? No accountability, no courtesy, no basic decency. Management needs to step in because this kind of behavior should not be tolerated anywhere. Avoid this location if you can. Save yourself the frustration.
