I live in Morrisville.. I mailed 2 pieces of mail on 6/13 to Buffalo,NY They have not been received yet. Today is 6/29. If this is what we can expect from the mail service they need to be replaced. this is not the first problem I have experienced with this post office. Our new carrier is having trouble getting mail to the correct addresses on a regular basis. I hope he/she gets the hang of it soon! I called to report, after numerous instances, and had a very difficult time with the online process. I'm getting mail for at least 3 different neighbors, and two have received mine. read more

It's just one of those Monday mornings where you drop off a prepaid envelope at the post office, no line and three people working behind the counter, and head back to your car... only to find that it's locked and won't open. I looked through my handbag two times, walked around the parking lot, and then did two internal circuits inside the post office - no key fob. The staff saw me puttering around and asked me if they could help me - Southern hospitality ftw. I ask if anyone has turned in a key fob - no dice. Thankfully, my dad is awesome and drove to get me the spare key fob that he keeps (because he is clearly more responsible than I will ever hope to be). If anything, giving him the spare copy is the smartest thing I have ever done. As I'm driving home, wracking my brain over what the heck I did with the dang thing, I realize that I was wearing a jumpsuit with pockets the day before and had put the key fob in a pocket... and promptly forgot to take it out. This would explain how I was able to unlock the car and drive over, but how after I dropped of the package, I was unable to get back in the car. I sort of resigned myself to ordering another one and shelling out the money, or trying to get in touch with the Express customer service center I was returning the rented jumpsuit to, but my dad suggested that I try heading back to the post office to see if they would be able to retrieve the package so I could look through it. I'm not a huge fan of masks, though I understand the reasons for them and will wear them, but I am sooo grateful that the post office staff couldn't see the embarrassment written all over my face when I walked back inside. One woman recognized me and when I told her where I thought the key fob was she nodded her head and stepped to the back. After a few minutes, she brought the package out and I opened it and... there it was. Thank you, sweet baby Jesus and the post office staff. They let me tape the package back up and we all shared a good laugh. I'm a new California transplant, but this USPS location and their top notch staff have helped me make my first great North Carolina memory. read more

This post office sucks! The service is terrible too, and the ladies who work there act like they have a lot of power, telling customers what to do. If I didn't have specific shipping requirements from USPS, I would never use the post office again. read more

My first visit to this post office. It is tucked away. I used Google Maps on my phone to find it. For me it was a straight shot south on Miami Boulevard, which becomes Chapel Hill Road. The voice just said "in 1,000 feet, turn left." I saw the US Post Office sign through the bushes and turned in. I had my mail held for three weeks while I was out of town. I was a little surprised that the amount of mail handed to me when I went to pick it up was what I normally get in a couple days, but I guess that was all the mail that arrived while I was gone. The two ladies working were perfectly friendly and efficient. I have no complaints. I do agree with the Matt. G. one-star review in that mail is often misdelivered. I do carry mail around to my neighbors that was delivered to me and a number of times packages are left on my porch that belong somewhere else. I walk around and make sure they get to the right person. Possibly the mail delivery person should invest in some reading glasses? read more

Stopped in for some stamps for Christmas cards and the place was jammed with a line nearly to the door. Most people had packages so I figured I was in for a major wait. Much to my surprise things moved really fast and I was out the door in under 15 minutes! The employees were super friendly & nice. No one going postal here at all. It was amazing! read more

How to review a US Post Office? I'll try my best... First off, it's really rare to receive excellent customer service at any USPS. It's like going to a new restaurant each day and not knowing what you will get. If you're looking for spacious parking, this is the best post office in the area to go to. There are plenty of parking spaces for everyone (NOTE: The lines will confuse you! So just park!). Customer service is off and on. I've been here many times before and the workers tend to have mood swings. Some days they are happy! dancing! singing! and the next they are angry! mad! Awkward! I'm just trying to send a package! I was suppose to receive a package on 2/12 by 2:30 pm per tracking #. I checked off and on my mailbox and by 4:30 pm I checked with a neighbor to see if she had gotten her mail - and yes she did. Well - at 7:00 pm I checked tracking again and it had that it was delivered to a PO Box at 6:51 pm. How in the heck did it get delivered to a PO Box when I don't have one and never have? Called PO next day @ 9 am - talked to a guy told what was going on - he said he would look. 11:00 am i called back was told they were busy and call me back. I put a note in mailbox to carrier also. 1:25 pm I called back to PO - still no package - can't be found - so I was told !!! I ask them what about the carrier that was suppose to deliver my package - check with them - they should know what they did with it. Oh... by the way my Information was correct on my package. I guess one good thing - thank goodness it was insured. How in the world can a PO lose a package that was scanned out for delivery? read more

I paid for certified restricted mail and the letter was put in the mail box I called the office where I mailed it and Denise told my she doesn't know what I should do and that she doesn't have every post office number in the United States ....what the !@#$$% I waited in line for 20 minutes and paid 9$ for this and Denise acted like she couldn't be bothered . This is the best USPS I've ever been to in the Triangle area! I came by here several times this month for my mails and packages and they are always so fast! Not to mention all of staff here are so friendly and amazing; they are always willing to help you and before you even ask anything, they reach out to you first and ask if you need any help. The only thing is you have to pay attention when you turn to get into this place. There is a sign, but it's kinda hidden, so just make sure you look for that USPS sign! There were few times I almost missed this place but just pay attention!!! I will def come back to this place for any kind of mail/package related business! read more

The post office lost my father's cremains. I've been trying to contact them for days to resolve. The local post office number is never answered. The 800 number requires you work through menu with no options for human contact. I don't have a number because I can't talk to anyone to get a number. Every day that package is lost, the likelihood I'll ever get MY FATHER'S REMAINS diminishes. You literally have to go to the post office to have a conversation. Miserable. And useless. This is a dismal post office. Blink and you will miss it. The landscaping there is so overgrown that you almost miss the turn in to the parking lot. If I didn't already know there was a post office there, I would totally have driven right by it. I went there one afternoon trying to send a letter with tracking. The line was so long and there was no self-service area to buy stamps or mail packages to do it myself. I am guessing there used to be a self service area since there is a sign above it that said so. I always wondered why I never see that many women working at the post office? I guess it's a mail dominated industry. I've had some lazy bad experiences in the past at this location with robotic staff, but at my latest visit I received some stellar dedicated service with shipping multiple boxes. They let me hog a check out point with a designated clerk for an entire afternoon, like it was a concierge service. This is more than what you can expect from a government service. A few grunts and huffs and puffs initially and don't you dare enter just before closing, but it all ended very well in the end. Now I feel bad for leaving a one star review earlier. USPS may have some archaic and non-flexible procedures, but when it comes to international shipping, there is no one cheaper out there and everything shows up on time with minimal damage. read more

I'd never been to this post office until yesterday. Like many probably do, I arrived with a small sense of dread because of how slow post offices seem to be these days. This one surprised me. The air just seemed happier. The line moved quicker. I was third in line when I arrived, but within a matter of minutes, it was my turn. The lady at the counter was friendly and cheerful and she handled my three packaging items the fastest I've ever seen someone do so! I wish this post office was near my house. This is without a doubt the worst Post Office that was ever opened in the entire history of the United States Post Office. I live in the Huntington Athletic Complex and they "deliver" out mail here. For the first 2 years I constantly got calls from my credit card companies asking for my new address. Apparently the PO would randomly return my mail. Luckily after 5 years I seem to get letters fairly routinely. I mean I don't get them daily or anything but I do at least eventually get them. It does take a full week for a letter to get to Winston from here but at least it gets there eventually usually. I met most of my neighbors because we got each others mail, so that is actually a plus. Packages on the other hand are a complete different story. I work from home and am here all day, 6 days a week. To date 1 package has been delivered to my door. The rest either don't get delivered at all or get delivered to the Apartment Complex office. Sometimes the Postal workers are nice enough to put a note in your box that they delivered it to the office, most of the time they leave it to you to figure it out. I met the Postal worker on Black Friday to get 2 packages, he could only find the one quickly so I ask him to deliver the other to my apartment as soon as he found it. My apartment was less than 200 feet from the kiosk. After a few hours I go back and he is long gone but did put one of those notes in my box that the package was in the Apartment Complex office - that was closed and had been closed since Wednesday. On Saturday I met him again, no packages at all this time. He knew the office was closed and didn't bother bringing anything that wouldn't fit in the mail box. Monday finally hits and I go to the apartment office to get my package but it wasn't there. Where do I find it? He had put the padded envelope in my box. I should also note, that Friday morning I had went to the PO in an attempt to get both packages and I was told I would have to wait for him to deliver. I am now waiting on a package from Amazon Prime. It was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but even though no signature was required they didn't deliver it. I chatted with Amazon yesterday and as we were chatted they requested it be delivered. Wanna guess what happened? Magically it was scanned showing it was delivered as I sat at my computer. I checked outside and nothing. I have no idea where it is or when it will get here which should annoy me far more than it does. It's a little sad that their service is so very poor that I am now surprised when I happen to actually get something at all. read more

Jeff, the mail delivery person called me to confirm with GPS provided location that the mail was indeed delivered at that location . Very professional and thoughtful. I have lived in Morrisville for almost 30 years and until the last 3 years, the mail delivery was EXCELLENT. I don't know what has happened over the last few years, but the person sorting mail for Carolina and Church Streets cannot seem to tell the difference between the spelling of the two streets! I get someone else's mail at least 3 times a week. Luckily, we know each other and have been doing the post office a service by swapping our mail. This has got to stop!!! If you have a mailbox at your home in Morrisville, I strongly suggest that you pull it up and have everything sent digitally if at all possible!! Get away from the postal delivery service!
