What the HELL is happening ? Where are our Tax Paying Dollars being used? I have sooooooo many unanswered questions and the Corporate USPS Representatives should be the ones to answer them. Why does this Post Office look so unsanitary and unclean??? Remove these Greeting Cards and put an area for a few WORKING KIOSKS. Also these waste areas should be cut back to where the island isn't taking up unused space. Lastly the Passport far area to the right should be an area for Customers to put their Parcels and Boxes that are already stamped. There's so much unused space at this post office that can be useful and accessible to Customers' advantage. Then Just maybe the staff will be happier, and more willing to come to work, connect better with the customers', and have more enthusiasm to assist us. It doesn't have to look like a Government Cheese or Voting line EVERY SINGLE TIME. EVERY TIME I come inside to retrieve my mail, whether it's at my P.O.Box or having to wait in the massive lines to speak with a Mail Clerk. Which maybe two or three people for almost 40-50 plus customers'. For several months I've grinned and bared with the disorganized Mail Clerks. Now I'm asking a real silly Question. Are you all HIRING?? Cause I'll apply. There's a logical way to make a Postal Servicing experience better for all parties "Renovations." Bring in numbers. Divide and make sure people aren't just waiting in hour long lines and they don't have to be. I witnessed a Male Clerk tell an elderly woman after waiting in One line a few people behind the 45 minute to an hour line that I was in. She got out of our line jumped over to the shorter line with the two male clerks behind the counter. Once it was her turn to go to the counter, She gave the clerk her package. Then the gentlemen that was originally behind her but in the line that I was in; yelled out calmly, See if he can go and check for your mail while he's helping you with your package. The Clerk told the elderly lady "No, she'll have to go in the line to her left." The male gentleman that was a few customers' behind me said, Now What if she wasn't already in this line first and she'd have to go towards the back of another line and if he truly wanted to assist her he would have. I in turn said, It's their moods that they're in it's like flipping a coin. Even their female Supervisor is Heartless so Why The Hell would the rest of the staff GIVE A F..K?!! This post office could win an award for WORST IN THE COUNTRY. They miss delivered who knows how many different items of my mail and my neighbors mail items to whatever address and we all try to redeliver ourselves. I had several big loses of packages that I didn't receive and finally decided to purchase a mailbox across the street so I can get all of my packages. But my neighbors almost every day miss a package that I see on our neighborhood Facebook page. It is very hard to file formal complaints with this post office. They do not accept phone calls. You fill fill in an on-line complaint but nothing ever becomes of it. You only other option is to walk into this place and a long line of other people with the same problem will be in front of you. The last time I came in with my complaint I waited around an hour. I was missing some of my mail again. I filed out something on-line about it over a week ago. ZIP nothing happens. I usually get a lot of gift items from some charities that I donate too. I didn't receive any of them this year so I DON'T KNOW but think they either miss-delivered, loss, or stole these items. This post office is extremely busy during the week, and that seems to be the norm here , not just during the holidays. This location is also used to distribute house keys for newly sold homes, which may be one of the reasons it stays so packed. One thing I do appreciate is that the post office is divided into three separate sections/lines, which helps prevent regular postal business from completely mixing with other services. Even with that setup, it's still consistently crowded. There's a self service station, which helps a bit and can save time if you're able to use it. If coming to this post office then come with more than enough time, especially on weekdays or during peak seasons and hours. Plan ahead and expect a wait time if visiting this location . read more

Another quick experience at the post office. I only go in when I need to mail a package. Yesterday I saw a long line, but it was not for what I had to do; those people must have been doing stuff related to P.O. boxes or something. All I know is that the regular line had one person in it ahead of me. The gentleman who helped me was courteous and efficient. I like that the staff always ask if you need stamps before you're done; I bought some cool stamps two weeks ago so I declined the offer. My business was done in 10 minutes! read more

I didn't have the same experience here that a lot of others reported. The wait is horrific!! (You need at least 2 hours to be safe) But that's not their fault (thanks donnie t!!) I ordered keys for my mailbox after my house purchase. I was told it would be a 4-6 week turn around. The girl who helped me was especially kind and sympathetic about the wait. I was told I'd get a call when my keys were in. After 5 weeks I had no call and decided to see if they were there and pick up my mail. I was so scared reading people on here saying they don't have keys for 4-6 months some up to 2 years?? The woman who helped me was very kind and had a great attitude with each customer. I procrastinate going to the post office because I have been treated very poorly in the past, but this is the most pleasant and painless experience I've ever had! All individuals were very helpful even as I was trying to ship an oversize package and placed the labels wrong they were very gracious and helped me rearrange the labels. 10 out of 10. This location was really busy the morning that I visited. Im not sure if this the norm on weekday morning as I do not usually have to visit USPS. Today however I had to come inside to pick up a package that was not delivered due to a signature being needed. The line stretched past the entrance so I waited maybe 30 minutes before I reached the pick up window. Please note there are two separate lines depending of what you need. If you want to be helped at the main counter and have mail to drop off pay for postage, or need passport services that's one line. But if you are simply picking up a mail, packages, or keys you want to make sure you are standing in the line that leads to the door with the window cut out. read more

I should have read the reviews before coming in to prepare better. Get here early or you will be waiting 1-2 hours to get your mail. I had a letter certified sent to me, I did not know I was going to be getting a certified letter and curse the company for not telling me because I was home when my doorbell rang. I got the lovely orange paper and rescheduled a deliver for the next day, the next 3 days of USPS delivery came and went without nothing so I went back USPS to schedule a pick up. The system accepted it and I went in a few days later to pick it up. I waited for an HOUR, in the worst longest line ever to come to the front and find out my mail was supposedly being delivered today. It is not the employees fault so I just left and here I am sitting at home waiting for this letter to arrive and I know it is not. You would think in 2026 in the world technology being so advanced I can monitor my amazon packages and grocery deliver that USPS would be on the same level...they are not. I have been waiting in like for over an hour to pickup my mail. The line is out the door for the package pickup line! The other line has only a few people in it and they aren't helping the longer line. This is the worst service. On top of all that it takes 6-8 weeks to get a lock fixed!!! Honestly, this location should just be shut down or they need to completely replace the employees front to back. Not only do they not follow their own procedures, I've yet to encounter anyone that isn't downright rude or acts like you're inconveniencing them. Previous posts about them moving at a snails pace is also s p o t o n. A large majority of the time I drop packages off here, unless I wait in line and force them to scan it, they never scan it before sending it on. What is the point of tracking services if there isn't an origination scan? Ari went above and beyond her duties to assist me and help me choose the proper shipping methods for my package. I don't usually do usps or walk in. But the few times I have. She has been amazing. I would deal with DHL, UPS or FedEx. The US Postal Service is a joke anymore. (2) packages lost in one week and both were when I was home and I found those orange tags saying "We missed you" when no one was even at the door?! Lazy. Just sad really how this institution has fallen and it's employees don't care. Waited in line at the dreaded blue door, only to be told "it's on the truck out to you" which is wasn't. Tracked both and to this day they still show undelivered. I'm considering never ordering from Etsy or Ebay anymore unless they ship UPS, FedEx or DHL as I'll probably never get it otherwise. Everything about this post office sucks. Retail, customer service and it's filthy. The staff works at a snail's pace their attitude is terrible. I felt sorry for the customers in the line for package pickup - it snaked around the front of the inside and out the front door with only one postal worker who was slower than molasses in January. They were waiting in line for over 45+ minutes whereas the line to mail was under 10. There were 2 workers for that line and one for the other. At one point, the worker for the "blue" line disappeared getting someone's mail for 20 minutes and when she reappeared, she had no sense of urgency in her shuffle. The worker who took over her line when she disappeared, only did so when a gentlemen who spoke out to say that he had been waiting in line for over a half hour and that the line was barely moving. He was clearly upset - along with the rest of the line - about the lack of personnel not picking up the slack for their line. So one of the two helping the short line, started to help, but then went back to the short line when she returned 20 minutes later. It was ridiculous. I recommend driving the extra few miles to the post office on Jones. Staff is helpful and efficient, retail stock is outstanding and it's clean. read more

I signed up for emails from the post office to advise what mail I would be receiving. However, i have had to make two trips to the post office in the past three weeks because of lost or destroyed mail. I never received a bill from my insurance company although I did get the image in my email. I have called my insurance company to email me the bill. Just last week, I got an email showing me a copy of a bill being mailed to my credit card company but all I got was a piece of the envelope with a sliver of the remittance and check. The image showed the name of where it was going. If I didn't have this information, I would have never known and I would have wound up paying a late fee. Of course, the post office would not reimburse me for those fees. I had to call the credit card company and make a payment, call my bank to stop payment on the check, fees were waved, and taking the extra steps to insure payments were made. I also mailed a birthday card to a friend last Thursday September 23. 2025 to another zip code in NLV and as of Friday September 26, 2025 they had yet to receive my card. I received an envelope 10x13 from a request from New Jersey and that only took four days. I do not do banking on line as I have been hacked once before. My suggestion to you is if you have the opportunity to pay over the phone, as I do with my mortgage, do so as you can see from my experience, you cannot trust this post office to get your payments to their destination with the possibility of you being charged late fees. It used to be you could send out your bills, birthday cards and trust the post office but that is no more. All two supervisors had to say to me is "sorry". Sorry does not make up for the extra steps, time or phone calls I have had to go through to correct their mistakes and lack of work ethic. read more

I'd like to preface my review by saying I've visited a lot of post offices in Las Vegas and have lived in every part of town so my review is based on my experience with the other post offices. The workers here are awful - no urgency, misplaced mail, no accountability. I moved into a new house in February and was told the mailbox keys would be ready in 4-6 weeks and I am now coming up on 16 weeks of waiting. And for the last 4 weeks, I've been told a supervisor would personally be changing the mailbox lock and call me to pick up my keys on sunday. Another place guilty of overpromising and underdelivering. And the wait times are astronomical 80% of the day. I try not to be too critical since I know they're people too but when someone can't do the bare minimum of their job requirements and an 8 year old kid could do better, then I have no sympathy. Although TJ and the female supervisor are delightful, it's people like Logan that bring the place down. There seems to be a system breakdown. The Lines are always long, and service is very slow. I've lived in 4 other states. I've never seen a post office run so poorly. Additionally, I put a forwarding address on the post office website and got a confirmation. I canceled it about 10 days later and got another confirmation. Not one piece of mail of mine was forwarded. What makes matters worse is this post office never canceled the forwarding address cancellation on their own computer system. Instead, for several months, all my mail had been returned to sender. This includes birth certificates, medications, legal documents, subscriptions etc. and Logan would care less. After going back-and-forth with Logan it was difficult for him to admit there was an error and to apologize for the inconveniences. His lack of people skills adds to the poor service here. In 2024 there was a period where no one got their mail (because someone broke into the mailboxes) and this post office took 3 1/2 months to fix it. That's 3 1/2 months of coming to this post office and standing in-line for 2-3 hours a day to get our mail. Ghetto! Oh!!! This post office returned a package in error to the Atlanta Mail Recovery Center. Then told me the Recovery Center could not return the package back to them (the North LV Post Office) because there isn't enough postage. THIS IS A TRUE STORY! It was their error in the first place. They should pay for the return of my Package. Now, this package is sitting in limbo at the Atlanta Recovery Center for 3 months. The USPS website shows walk-in passport hours from 3-4pm. What the website doesn't tell you is the agent can only serve 4 people during that time. Because it takes 15 minutes to process each applicant. So you risk driving across town with the hopes of arriving at 3:18pm to only be turned away. Busy Location!!!! This is a very busy location, so be patient!! If it's peak time or holiday time you can expect a wait. With that being said it is a great location. Easy to find, plenty of parking, very clean inside and out and very friendly and helpful employees. This is a full service post office. They have passport services and such.
