When you first walk in, on the left of the front counter is where you can get your mail. On the far right facing the counter is the passport window. If you're in a rush, then use the self service machines otherwise be patient. So I people watch and my tip for some people is to have all of their packages/envelopes ready to go I.e. zip codes, labels etc. Don't expect to go to the window and have the workers fill these forms out for you. Always a pleasant experience when I stop by here.

Located on the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Wheeler Peak Drive, this post office has free parking! I entered the building, noticed that there is a self-service area and post office boxes, then placed my card in the slot for "stamped mail". Mission accomplished! There is a drop box on Wheeler Peak Drive if you don't need or want to get out of your vehicle... yay! Note: this is the closest post office to the Costco on Martin Luther King Drive... about a mile away

People complain about how long the wait times are but don't take the time to do their own research online. The USPS website has a FAQ's. I don't know how many others lack common sense, but 3 people in front of me asked a question to the staff member assisting them and I found out their answer within 2 minutes on my phone. Overall, the location is fine but the people that come here asking questions that can be easily answered by a simple search on USPS make the wait times even longer. It's cold. Waiting outside in the cold sucks. You know what makes that even worse? Constant complaining on being cold, when there are others in the same exact situation. Suck it up, it sucks to suck.

Customer service should include basic courtesy and professionalism, and sadly, neither was shown during this interaction. Not only did he help me get my PO Box set up, but he was also assisting several other customers at the same time, all while staying calm, organized, and incredibly kind. He was pleasant with everyone, and even when he had to turn someone away because their needs were better suited for FedEx, he didn't just send them off--he provided a helpful solution and guided them to the nearest location. Top-tier service, a great attitude, and real problem-solving. So glad I can call this place my new "PO Box home."

From the beginning of the interaction, the male employee was flat, unresponsive, and lacked any effort to provide reassurance or basic courtesy. When Supervisor Cecelia approached, her tone and body language were similarly cold and detached. I explained that I have already experienced stolen credit cards and personal documents due to mail theft. While I understand that there may be limited options beyond filing online or purchasing a P.O. Box, there was no attempt to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation or to communicate with even minimal empathy. When residents are dealing with identity theft and financial harm, professionalism includes not just providing information, but delivering it with basic human consideration. The complete lack of warmth or de-escalation from both employees made an already stressful situation worse.

There was one woman at the desk assisting another customer and another young woman that came from the back and said the person that does the notary is "done". I ask done for the day and she replied "yes". She works up to 5pm. The other woman assisting the other customer that I travel to Skypointe which is a few miles away. I asked what time would the Notary be available on 8/28 and was told up to 4 pm or so. On 8/28 arrived at the location by 4 pm and the woman who was assisting the other customer and suggested I go to Skyepointe location WAS THE NOTARY!!!! She notarized the form! Now, how long does it take to notarize a piece of paper? So customer service for this this store gets a zero! And I will just take my business elsewhere.
