Been here for 45min so far Saturday morning and have maybe moved 5 feet... If you have a lady that's sending out literally 50+ items it make sense to maybe open another register right? Way better than any other U.S. Post Office I have been to in Phx Metro. The line is always long but goes fast. The employees are ridiculously nice and helpful. There's always parking available. They don't carry many USPS supplies like fancy cards or boxes- just to the point. read more

OMG!!!! What is happening here??? It's Saturday and no options to pick up my mail as I wait for a new key to the mailbox.its been 25 minuets and one employee with the same customer. I am at the end of a long line. It's 93 degrees outside and thank GOD it's 90 degrees inside USPS . Why is this happening? Come on USPS you can do better than this. I understand COVID is extremely difficult for both postal workers and customers. I have a hearing impairment. I wear hearing aids and I rely heavily on reading lips . Masks make it difficult to communicate. The lady who "helped" me was extremely rude prior to even knowing I was impaired then when I told her she assumed I needed everything written Down. And proceeded to tell me how to solve my hearing impaired problem so her day would be better. Yeah no not going here again I'll pay more money at FedEx for friendlier service. read more

I don't know what it is about post offices, but rarely do I come across a post office with friendly, happy customer service agents, who are eager to help. It's sad this place is no exception. This location has potential to be GREAT. Plenty of parking, nice large waiting room, air conditioned, plenty of customer service desks. I walked in during normal business hours during the mid-afternoon, there was no one in front of me in line. Two agents at the counters: One was helping a couple, the other was looking at her computer and ignoring me. Suddenly a third agent came out to the counters and started arguing with the agent who was staring at her computer. It was awkward because it was a heated discussion. Anyway, after waiting about 5 minutes with no greeting, the woman looked up from her screen and finally said "we'll be with you shortly" or something to that effect. After waiting by myself in line for about 10 minutes, the woman helped me and solved my issue (had my mail held but it had not been delivered yet) within about 3 minutes. They get an extra star from me simply because they have decent record-keeping and answered my question quickly. read more

I understand leaving a note in my box telling me I have a package if it's something I need to sign for. But, when no signature is required why can't my package be left in one of the lockers and a key left in my box? I don't receive packages very often and when I do, they never need to be signed for. A couple times in the past few years they've put the package in the locker but the rest of the time I have to ask for it. It wouldn't be a big deal if their hours weren't horrible and the customer service was even worse. Ya stand at the counter FOREVER waiting for someone to come help you and when they do, they take FOREVER to find your package. I asked a few weeks ago why they couldn't have left it in the locker considering my package arrived on a Tuesday and I wasn't able to get there during business hours until Saturday. She said it's a hassle to walk around and put the packages in the lockers. Well it's a bigger pain in the butt to spend over 30 min waiting at the counter and then waiting for a package. Yes, I said over 30 min! But, I appreciated her honesty. The folks who work here are rude, condescending and lazy. I often do my business at the location in North Scottsdale and those folks are wonderful. Why are you so angry? You get to leave work at 4:30 every day!!! read more

I know that going to the post office is never a fun experience, but this is by far the WORST location I have ever been to in any state. Service is slow, employees are rude, and very rarely do they ever have more than two people helping people, and most of the time, one of those two people are not actually helping people with postage and sipping but rather just asking over and over if anyone there is picking up... even after they've already determined that no one is there to retrieve a package. I now drive out of my way to go to another location when I can. There definitely needs to be more locations in the valley though. read more

It seems that this post office is always short staffed, every time you get there the wait time in line never less than 20-30 min, no matter what service you need. This morning I got there for a simple pick up, had to wait in line for......45 minutes! The workers are nice and helpful but.....they are just overwhelmed. Unfortunately for people like me who work 12-14 hours a day and Saturday is the only day I can pick up anything from the post office.....this is very inconvenient and makes me never want to come back to this post office. Here's one for the books. I sent out a payment to a company with a money order. A few days later, I get an apology envelope with my ripped off envelope with a corner of the money order missing. I took it back to Frye's. They said the machine would not accept it for exchange because of the missing numbers. They told me to take the issue up with the USPS. Talked with the supervisor. He said they couldn't do anything and to take it up with Western Union. Western Union now wants to charge me a non refundable fee of $15.00 for a ripped money order for $20.00. Wow! Spend $35 to get $5.00 back. What a bunch of criminals. One counter person at USPS told me the reason my envelope was ripped was because someone tried to force something into the machine which in turn, ripped my envelope. It was clear case of negligence. I want my money returned and the USPS is at fault!!!!! read more

While this post office is not horrible....it is dreadfully understaffed....as most post offices seem to be today. It takes forever to conduct business at this location....and considering it is right of the 101 and Greenway exit.....you would think they would know they would have heavy traffic there. I mean there is a strip mall.....Fresh & Easy market....a school....and a Apartment complex all within walking distance of this location. Yet no matter what time of day....Mon-Fri....rain or shine....hot or cold....holidays or non-holidays.....etc....the lines are forever and a day.....and the staff doesn't seem to really care. I am forced to go here quite a bit because it is close to my Apartment....and while I don't do much business at all there....it would be nice to go and buy a stamp or mail off something international without having to wait almost an hour to do it. I am not sure if all US post offices have the same reputation as in Chicago (my town), but I thought this one was pretty good. No one was yelling at customers like they do back home! The line was pretty long, but they added more staff at the counters almost right away. The man who helped us, (clerk 28 according to my receipt, I forgot his name...) was very nice and provided great service. Parking lot was a little crazy, but not super bad. read more

Totally incompetent. My brother lives in Arizona, and so I frequently mail him packages. Two of them have been returned to the sender as "Undeliverable", because the mailman/lady doesn't have sense enough to leave them in the apt office or the mailbox. The address has been correct both times. This is not an error on my end - this is LAZINESS on *their* end! If it happens again, they will be asked to reimburse my shipping costs. read more

I have started using the Greenway Road post office again. The people there are awesome. One lady in particular always help me with cutting my costs down as I ship many Ebay packages. Ebay now takes a portion of your shipping...so...I have to cut my shipping costs as much as possible. Forever I went to post office at 7th Street and Mountain View. No more....they (most) are not very pleasant to deal with. Not going there anymore. read more

This last week one of our clients mailed us their original tax documents so that we could prepare their 2013 tax returns. They had, however, accidentally reversed the street numbers of our office address. I intended to ask our mail carrier how long he thought it would take for the package to be returned to our client. When he came in, to my amazement, he had the package with him. Now that's what's called outstanding customer service & support! All at our office agree that our mail carrier Darrell should be promoted to Post Master General. Fantastic! read more

In the 6 years I have been dealing with this post office, it has only gotten worse. The 'supervisor' says she can't handle money. Many, many times I have seen the line 20 deep with one (if you're lucky) there might be 2 employees helping with money transactions. So, while you stand in line for at least 30 minutes the 3 or 4 other employees who are not helping the long line of people will entertain you by showing off their mad skills of how to ignore customers. The other day the line was about 15 deep when the 'supervisor' decided it was a good time to argue with an employee about his music so we could stay longer for the show. Horrible service I called for hours on end to correct an address of an undeliverable package all I got was some dipshit picking up the phone randomly and hang it back up eventually had to drive 20 miles before they closed to correct the address and got to wait in 30 minute line. first 15 minutes only one girl was at the counter then finally 2 other men came out of the back room to help one of the men helped one person and then disappeared in the back again. going to file a complaint with the Inspector General these clowns are working on our tax dollar. On May 27th 2015 temporary USPS mail forwarding from Phoenix AZ to NY was supposed to begin and continue for several months. As of June 24th the first two weeks of "premium" mail forwarding has still not been delivered! Of course they have no problem billing us $17 every week like clockwork. We've spoken w/ several reps on the post office's main line and they keep saying our mail is "being sent" but it never arrives. We received a few pieces of mail from the 3rd week of forwarding but nothing from the first 2 weeks! Several bills, two desperately needed checks, and a wedding invitation are MIA. They told us that the clerk who is responsible for our mail forwarding was out due to eye surgery - so what, nobody picks up the slack & does that person's job?! The work simply doesn't get done?! We've spoken with several reps on the general help line, all a waste of time! Bunch of clueless wonders who can't do anything but send an email to some complaint system that accomplishes nothing. On my last call I was "holding for a team lead", & after 30 minutes on hold I hung up! We had tried calling this Phoenix post office directly but they NEVER, EVER pick up their phone, no matter what day or time it is. They must take it off the hook. Do yourself a favor and use UPS or Federal Express for your mailing needs whenever possible. USPS should be bought by one of these two and privatized, as they clearly can't run a national mail service effectively anymore! read more
